Solid quality plates

A little on the shiny side for brushed nickel, but very, very sturdy. Enough to see your reflection a little. You could not bend these with your bare hands --- they're that thick.

The screws weren't too long for me.

I was a bit worried about this light switch covers because some people said the screws were too long. I bought this for my living room & installed it in a minute, with no screw issues. It looks better in real life than in pictures, somehow, & was the modern touch my living room needed. Great buy!

high quality easy to install

Replaced a plastic plate cover with this. Very sturdy and nice satin nickel finish. worked great for wall plate with on flip switch and one knob dimmer.

These plates are solid and add the detailed touch to a room. I only do the light switches because I'm not sure I like seeing all of the outlets highlighted in a room. I've ordered enough to cover my light switches throughout my house and the quality has been consistent in all of them.

My only advice is that you be really careful screwing these in. If you miss the hole with your drill or screwdriver, you will scratch the plate -no doubt. I learned the hard way.

Affordable Upgrade

It's astounding how much of an impact something as simple as upgrading switch/outlet plates can have on the feel of a room... I invested in updating the covers in our living room from the flimsy white plastic ones to these solid, architectural plates, and the effect was dramatic! For less than $25, the room is now modern and polished looking. I plan to update the rest of the house with these plates, one room at a time.
