The item itself is designed very compact and efficiently. However, I am returning this item because I followed the instructions and the item did not emit steam the way it should and instead it spilled water all over the place-which is very dangerous. I would advise caution. This is an update to my original review. The company reached out to me to fix the situation and to make me happy as a paying customer. Th new steamer they sent me works perfectly just as described by all the other reviews. I wish they all worked the same way, so others wouldnt face similar issues. Just follow the instructions and steam away. I will be taking this with me on my travels. This does a great job of steaming my garments. I am giving 5 stars because the product now works as described and due to the companys customer service.

I have steamed the wrinkles out of every curtain in my whole house and all my dress shirts are now pristine. Now what else can I steam? This is fun! This little device is easy to use and does the job. My only complaint is that the cord is a little short - it wouldn't reach the tops of some of my curtains without an extension cord. Also it DOES need refilling very often, especially for a big job like a sliding door curtain. But it's awesome for the price, heats up fast and is easy to use.

This little thing is awesome. It was a little bit of a learning curve going from an iron to a steamer. Once I figured out how to use it though I take it with me every time I go on a trip. It's small and light so it doesn't take up to much space. Very powerful little steamer, I would highly recommend. The only con is the small amount of water that it holds, so you may have to fill it up a few times but to me that's not a bother since it heats up within about 30 seconds.

I hate ironing, so most of my wardrobe consisted mostly of jeans and t-shirts because I worked in a very casual (tech) atmosphere for many years and then most recently as a full time student. Recently, I just got a job where I have to dress up a little bit more professionally. Most of the business casual outfits I own need to be pressed and I cannot afford to send things to be professionally cleaned. The other alternative is for me to iron. But I say DEFINITELY NOT! So I did a little research on commercial garment steamers which are super expensive for occasional use; but I found that a lot has changed over the years and there are now personal garment steamers. I decided on this one based on reviews from users and I was not disappointed. I only used it once but it worked great on my linen top. Wrinkles gone in one tank of water. I guess since it is so small, I would say one blouse/shirt for every fill.

Why didn't I use steamers earlier?! This little guy does an amazing job. I mean, it's magic, isn't it - you just kind of hold the steamer near the wrinkles and they disappear... I know, it sounds silly, but I did my share of ironing in the past (I used to wear a lot of formal clothes, so it was always shirts that had to be ironed, since I didn't have a dryer, but even after drying dress shirts often need to be ironed; and then ironing dress pants was a must after every day of wear...). I never had a steamer until now. I was looking into buying an iron and an ironing board, but now it looks like i might not need them at all. I dry everything in the dryer now, so most of my clothes might have only minor wrinkles, which I don't care about. Now, on some pants or polo shirts or even t-shirts, I just use this steamer, and wrinkles are gone. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now (just a couple of times a week), and I can say that the container is generally good enough for thoroughly steaming one shirt or t-shirt, or pants. One one of my pair of heavy jeans I had to refill the steamer one more time. So, it's not an industrial size thing, but nobody buys it for that, i think. It is very portable, very light, easy to use. Works great. Love everything about it, including the pirce.

Truthfully I don’t use this a lot in regards to durability. This steamer is perfect for me as I am just interested in occasional use to freshen up a blouse or outfit. The steamer heats very quickly. I didn’t have any steamer experience so it took a minute for me to get on to it as you have to hold the steamer right to the garment but I love it! If you need to do more than a complete outfit at one time this might not be for you. I have not taken this when traveling yet but it is very light and I wouldn’t hesitate to pack it.

I hate ironing. I love this thing. This sits on my cabinet and takes less than 2 minutes to heat up. It gets the wrinkles out of my clothes. It is awesome for linen and cotton. I appreciate I don't have to take out an ironing board and can do my steaming on a hangar. It's easy and the unit is compact. My only complaint is if you're doing more than 2 pieces of very wrinkled or thick clothing at once, you may need to refill the steamer. It's not a big deal, but this unit was a bang for the buck

Awesome product! Works as expected. It only took me one water filling to quickly iron my pants as shown in the pictures.

i was surprised when this steamer arrived because I thought it would be bigger. It's small and the tank is small BUT it works well, heats up quickly and delivers enough steam to dr-wrinle 1and 1/2 shirts. Great for travel, maybe a little small for regular home use.

This steamer changed my life. Keeping my family of 7 neat and unwrinkled was such a chore with an iron. Traveling and depending on hotel irons or nothing at all was not optimal. I bought this steamer to take on an overseas trip, but also began using it at home. It is such a time saver. It works on nearly every kind of wrinkle or fabric. It heats up quickly, which is great when steaming a lot of garments at a time. The on/off switch is in an easy to use position for when I need to pause while using it. The tank is big enough to last a good while. I can usually get more than one garment out of a single tank, but even when I have to refill it's really quick. I had very few problems with it spitting hot water. I just didn't fill it up all the way, leaving maybe half a centimeter empty from the fill line. It did occasionally spit, but I found if I held it at the right angle or moved more slowly, it wasn't much of a problem. Obviously it doesn't give a crisp finish, but it leaves garments looking good enough. Much faster than ironing, and since I used to use starch to help get wrinkles out, living without the burning and flecks that can leave behind is a plus. I was heartbroken when it started leaking a lot of hot water out the back near the bottom of the handle (probably through the hole for the plug). I don't think this is a flawed product. I think it was dropped and probably cracked then. I can't actually see any obvious crack, but the water leaks at the seams of the outer shell now. Bummer. Therefore, it's not as durable as I apparently need it to be, but it still works even with the substantial leak. It's probably not safe like that, so time for it to go. I liked this steamer so much, I ordered a new one. If this one doesn't develop a similar leak, I'll know it was user error. Great experience otherwise.
