Takes A Licking, Keeps On Working!

I love this cable! I purchased it specifically for use in my car. I keep it permanently attached to a 12v adapter. The cable gets plugged into my Samsung Note 5 every time I drive off somewhere. I have no idea how many times that would total to date but I've been using it for months now so I'd say the total has to be somewhere in the mid-high100s at the very least, maybe over 1000x. The point is that all of the other cables that I tried (generic, "braided cover", etc.) would have started to fail—or would have completely failed by now. Plus, this Syncwire cable comes with an excellent replacement guarantee, although I don't see my having to use it. It is less flexible than the typical cable but I have zero problems with that as it's only 3.3 feet long. Actually it's just about perfect for the distance between where I am forced* to situate my phone (*my car has a poorly designed dashboard and really inconveniently placed air vents) and where the 12v outlet is located. (Yes, my car actually has USB ports but they are also inconveniently placed for my use.) To summarize, I think anyone needing a cable of this length will be happy with her/his purchase.

Great so far!

Been using it for a week and it's been great so far. Charging speed is decent. 6 ft length is good. The cable is on the stiffer side and has a rough exterior which makes it feel more durable. Also, the prongs are stiff/harder to attach (which I love) but I think that'll loosen with time and usage. I charge my phone 2-3 times a day depending on how much I use. I'll update my review in about a month.

Favorite USB cable ever

I never write reviews for products because it's basically adding value to Amazon's product for free. I like this cable so much that my desire to help out the company that went to the trouble of producing such a high quality cable at such a low price outweighs my distaste for working for free. I have destroyed at least a dozen micro USB cables in the last few years, and so far this one has already held up to my abuse longer than most. Just from looking at it, it looks like it should be able to keep going indefinitely. I love that the connectors at the small end are metal so they won't just crush if I run them over with my wheelchair. I'll update this review if I change my opinion, but so far this is my favorite USB cable ever, and I intend to buy more if I ever need them.

Fantastic Cables

What I really loved about these was the small footprint of the plastic casing. My kids have Kindle Fire's, and the cases are a little too close to the charging port. Other cables have way too much plastic casing making it a challenge to get the cable in correctly, but these were perfect. Additionally, unlike the default charging cables that come with the Fire, these actually "snap" in to the USB charging port, holding them in place during charging. The build quality was great and the braided nylon cable gave it a much sturdier feel. I'll probably be buying only Syncwire cables in the future.

my kids and wife were like "Wow, dad

When I first got these, my kids and wife were like "Wow, dad! These cable charge so much faster!". I am not sure about that, I mean they can only be as fast as the charger, right? But, that was their input, so there you have that. Now my input, so far these thing are very tough and durable and they connect good and solid. After a few good months of use, none have shorted out. There is no wear on the wire itself and most importantly, where the wire meets the connects is not broken, torn, bent, or shorted out. These thing appear to be pretty damn durable and possibly made of better quality wiring for faster charging. One small con (not really) is the exterior is a meshed wire for some damn tough and durable protection, that in a way, makes the wire a little stiff and less flexible. Also, the texture can tickle or aggravate your skin (no harm at all) if someone drags it across you. You could probably(although slowly) saw through a tree with this thing and not hurt it. Overall, great buy. Have four so far, will buy more, if and when needed.

The BEST micro USB cable I've ever used

I've had phones that used micro USB for years now. Most of the time, the ones that come with the phone are short, cheap, and just aren't that great, but they get the job done. I decided to buy a total of 4 cables for various places that I need them. Girlfriends house, work, home, and one for my bluetooth speaker. These cables are AMAZING. They snugly snap into your phone without wiggling around or feeling unsecured. The braded cables feel extremely sturdy and as someone who wraps the cable up at work, they don't get all twisted like rubber/plastic coated cables do. The color scheme is simple and very sleek as well. Overall, I recommend these cables to anyone any everyone who needs some! If I could give higher than a 5 star review, I would.

terrible, didn't last 2 days either cable

terrible, didn't last 2 days either cable. They connect and disconnect constantly unless I hold the cable a certain way. All my old cables work just fine. ***waited a couple months to update as was sent 2 new cables immediately after posting this. I didn't even return the old ones and threw them away. These new ones have worked flawlessly. And I must say that syncwire and Amazon customer service has been outstanding and why a majority of my purchases are online now with them. When a problem comes up its fixed right away without question. So I have changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars. All companies can get hit by bad product or services. It is what you do after you find out that makes a good company a great company.

an excellent product, the absolute best on the market...

hello, we have owned many usb type android charger wires. they all were from the manufacturer and worked during phone ownership. but, they were very thin and did a kink bend with the slightest curling of the cord to be put into a case, bag or what not. over time, the use create to many kinks and the cord was useless. after purchasing this micro usb cable from syncwire, all problems are/were solved. the quality of the build and sturdiness of the cord keep the kinks away. the fit of the android plug is also quite sturdy and fits well. If the phone is moved by accident , the cord remains in tact and charging still continues. this is the answer to all cord problems for android phones.

Update: Best Charging Cables on the Market

Update: I've been using Syncwire charging cables for almost 2 years now. They are AMAZING. I use three in my vehicle which are used constantly. They work flawlessly and still connect and fit tightly into any device they are connected to. There is absolutely no signs of wear and tear, even at the stress points that other cables have failed at. By far, these are the best cables I've used or seen. Warranty and customer service are top-notch as well.

Great heavy duty cable so far

I bought this because of their lifetime warranty and emailed them about it first. They confirmed they will pay shipping on returns for warranty if needed and were nice. It's much heavier duty than any other USB cable I've used and has what feels like metal braiding and connector housings. It feels very solid plugging in. Very pleased so far. Time will tell how well it holds up and I'll report back with updates when necessary.
