I have successfully used 18 of these in UniFI POE+ switches - work perfectly! Free's up 2 SFP ports for RJ45 cables!

Affordable, works as expected, works on TP-Link T2600G-28TS

I purchased this to make use of the SFP ports on my TP-Link T2600G-28TS managed switch. Installation was simple and completed without a hitch. Next I tested it with an Ethernet drop, and the connection went live at 1Gbps at full duplex. Transfer tests didn't show any problems and performance was on par with other (non SFP) ports. I didn't test cable length limitations. Another oddity: not sure if this is an issue with the module or my switch, but the switch's Device Diagnostics page refuses to let me select this (or any of the SFP ports) for diagnostic tests.

Great seller, great part!

Seconding the quality overall - worked perfectly in a set of Intel X520 cards I had that I needed to pass PXE boot. Several other adapters that worked fine in the OS would fail with a media test error in PXE ROM, but these worked perfectly on the first try. The gold release mechanism is a bit flimsy feeling, but actually quite substantial - I've had to remove/reuse these several times for various tasks that require network isolation, and they're holding up great, especially for the price. Ipolex is also very fast at shipping!

Easy install, perfect compatibility, and automatic activation

The Netgear AGM734 series was purchased to let me link my Netgear managed switches together. Everything worked perfectly and required no configuration - couldn't have been easier.

seems to work fine in my UniFi Switch

The "ipolex SFP-GE-T" seems to work fine in my UniFi Switch 8 POE-150W. It hot-plugged and worked immediately. The packaging was good, and included a 3% off code for ipolex purchases before 31DEC18.

Compatible with Unifi XG-16 Switch!

I wanted a few sfp transceiver modules for connecting 1GB devices from my network onto the XG-16 switch. These modules did just that, and saved me a ton of cash from having to purchase the sfp+ transceiver modules. I had to slide the module in a sfp+ slot till it clicked in, then connect my cat6 cable. To remove the module, you have to swing out the front of the module till it pops out, then you can pull it all the way out. If you want to connect a 10GB device such as the Aquantia 107, then you need a different adapter or you will be stuck at 1GB transfer speeds. This module is perfect for those older 1GB devices! However, beware that this module is not backwards compatible with 1MB/10MB/100MB devices. it only support 1GB Devices.

Ubiquiti Compatibility

Easy to connect just snap it into the SFP port. In this case I have multiple Ubiquiti Unifi switches and had no trouble getting everything to work. So far no issues...

Need to configure Dlink SFP port to 10000 will not work if set to Auto

Works great however you have to set the DLink to 10000 and not to "auto". Auto did not work

It is working well and it is used to connect switch to switch packet communication. The item was shipped promptly.
