First things first YES it is waterproof and kept the phone safe for about 8-10 ft. I took this on vacation cave diving and in the ocean snorkeling. Not one drop of water got inside the pouch. No complaints . Cheap price to pay to keep your phone safe. We have also use it at theme parks when going on water rides instead of renting lockers. That in itself has saved us what we already paid for in this product. The only isssue which can be resolved is the touch screen will not work underwater. To fix this you need to keep your sleep mode disabled . This way your screen is always on and you can you the physical side butting to snap he pictures. The plastic does not hinder the photos. Great buy!

I love this holder

This is a summer must have!!! I love this holder. I had a life proof holder but it busted, so when summer came back around I needed another waterproof solution. Let me say this thing is perfect for the beach or pool. I was able to take the cutest video of my daughter swimming under water and the sound was perfect.

Great Results

My 11 year old purchased this for her Moto Z Droid phone to take pictures while in the pool and on the beach on a recent vacation. The large phone fit in the case without a problem, even with her case and Pop Socket attached. We were able to use the touch screen and take photos while the phone was in the pouch. I was very impressed with it's performance at such a low price.

These phone cases are great! Bought a bunch in bulk for a bacheloerette trip in Cabo. Came in handy at the pool, beach and when we were snorkeling. Can't say anything if they glowed in the dark cause we weren't outside swimming at night but I'm sure it works.

Pros: I tested this case using tissue paper and found that it was truely completely watertight after being submerged for 30 minutes. I then spent about 10 minutes shaking and squeezing the case under water and still found the tissue paper to be completely dry. The primary purpose of this case is to keep the contents dry, and it does this extremely well. The latches close the case very securely. The case comes with and adjustable cord lanyard that also has some extra cord tied up in a braid that could come in handy in an emergency (much like a paracord bracelet). There is also a keyring attached to the lanyard which is very handy. There is plenty of room in the case for a phone plus a few credit cards and ID card. Most smartphones should fit in the case except for tablet sized phones like the samsung note. My LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy S6 both fit with room to spare. I was able to use the touch screen on my phone while my phone was in the case with no problems. Cons: I see only two small issues with the case. The first is that the extra braid on the lanyard adds length to the lanyard and forces you to have the case hanging several inches lower than I would prefer when the lanyard is worn comfortably. The second issue is that the latches can be slightly difficult to open. This is desirable is some ways to prevent accidentally opening the latch. However, it can be quite frustrating to open them at times. Overall, I am very pleased with the case and it exceeds all of my expectstions.

20 Feet Deep of Ocean for over an hour

I left my phone in this bag and left it on the rocks near the water. While i was out diving, a big wave swept my phone and some of my friend's gear into the water. When i came back to the rock i was freaking out because my phone was missing. When i dove into the water, i saw the bright orange part of this bag about 20 feet down. It was down there for almost an hour. No leaks, no water damage. My phone was perfect. The bag protected my phone from not just the water, but the rocks it was dragged across before sinking. Overall a great bag.

Cheap but AWESOME!

I purchased this waterproof case for an upcoming DisneyWorld trip after seeing approximately 5000000 people wearing similar lanyard cases on my last visit. Florida rains A LOT, and often unexpectedly, so this case is great for keeping my phone safe, as well as handy. My favorite things about this case are: 1. The ease of opening and locking it. It's pretty much fool-proof! The seal is air-tight, and the case feels secure. 2. My phone (iPhone 6S) and my LARGE, bulky battery pack case (Mophie Juice Pack Air) fit inside the case with room to spare. I admit I was initially concerned that I would have to take my battery pack off my phone for it to work with this case, but I don't! 3. The color! I ordered the purple case and it's gorgeous! The color is slightly less vivid than the picture portrays, but I think it's beautiful. My only dislike is that I can't hit the screen lock button on my phone while it's in the case. Maybe there's a way to do it, but I haven't found it yet! I'm able to use my touchscreen through the case, which is a huge relief. I don't even need to press extra hard, or click things more than once. I have to say that I'm quite pleased with the case, especially since I paid less than $9.00 for it! I've included 2 photos with my review - one to show the color of my case/lanyard, and another to show the easy open/close function. As an addicted Amazon shopper, I heavily rely on people's real opinions to decide whether an item is worth my hard earned money. Got this to go on a floating trip on the river, I tested it with a piece of paper in it & submerged it in water the night before, paper stayed dry, had no issues with it on the river, was still able to take pics & videos of us all having a good time =)

Quite possibly the best not even $8 I've ever spent.

I bought this before going on an 11 day vacation to Virginia to see my friend who lives there. While I was there we went tubing down the James river where I was completely intoxicated but thanks to this I didn't lose my phone and it did not get wet. I also went to Virginia Beach multiple and took this along in the water and got my butt kicked by some of the waves. No, like to the point they knocked me clear over and I had a bloody knee and about lost my girls out of my bathing suit top... Still never came close to losing my phone. It stayed perfectly safe and dry. I also tagged along on a trip to lake Keowee in South Carolina with her for a birthday party for one of her husband's family members and jumped out of a boat(again while somewhat intoxicated) into the water with this around my neck and didn't lose my phone, played in a water fall. Took great pictures and the pouch caused no issues. Plenty of room in the case for my Galaxy S9 and I was able to fit it in the pouch without removing my regular case. I will say that I didn't trust the little black string thing you're supposed to use to attach the lanyard to the pouch, instead I put the keychain on the lanyard through the hole because obviously a metal ring is a lot more sturdy and reliable than a little black string. I wasn't willing to risk it. I'll include some pictures of Virginia Beach I took while in the pouch so you have examples od how pictures look. Basically no different than without. A couple of them you can see water droplets that were on the pouch because I was in the water(still not a lot of them) but otherwise they're perfectly clear.

Great! Took it on a camping trip to the lake. I don't know if it's truly "waterproof" because I didn't actually test it, but it seems well put together and good quality and definitely seems like it will protect the phone for a few minutes if I drop it and have to fish it out of the water. It's very easy to use and fits my Samsung Galaxy with bulky Otterbox. I can use the phone while it's in the case so I can listen to audiobooks and take pictures. I took it into the lake and on a boat and took pictures of my kids and didn't see any moisture in the case. It seems sturdy- the lanyard is strong and the clip mechanism at the top is made of thick plastic. My only complaint is that the lanyard is very long- I'm 5'8 and if I hang it around my neck the bottom of the phone hits halfway to my knees and I don't see a practical way to shorten it. However, that is a minor concern and might be perfect for someone else.
