Nice and sturdy
This replaced a baby lock I had on my bifold doors. That type was a metal cord that locked into a bracket. It broke after just a couple of months. THIS one though. It is sturdy!!! I like how much more durable it seems plus installation was extremely easy. I would definitely get one of these again but don’t think I’ll need to.

quiet satisfied
I've had this installed now for several months and am quite satisfied with it. It's sturdy, but would not be too hard to bend--so I would not recommend it for a location where there is likely to be heavy pressure put on the latch. The tricky part about installation is managing to get the two sides aligned exactly right--parallel, vertical, same height. I can testify that it works just fine if you don't quite get all those things exactly right, but you can see that it is a little off.

Love these! amazing quality and looks
Amazing quality latches. I bought one to see if I like it, loved it and ordered another 3. They just feel sturdy, look good and I like that there's an ability to lock them in place. Very easy install. The pic only shows 1 installed, I will add another one tomorrow on the bottom. The other 2 are for a different project. UPDATE used another 2, can't gloat about these enough. i can't believe these aren't available anywhere else, before finding them i tried many places, didn't expect something so nice to not be available at home depot but be on amazon. beautiful!!! it's one of those pieces you just want to keep using because they feel so good. the latch goes perfectly into the opening, feels sturdy. don't have words to describe them, i don't lave a lot of reviews, i buy a lot of stuff. for me to come back to leave a review twice - this item really has my votes :) also, i see that the picture shows the latch piece being on the left and the opening on the right. it doesn't have to be that way, i used them the other way around. so, they're flexible in this sense. Edit In case someone is wondering why my cat needs a cage, it's because he pees everywhere. I can deal with the floors, but peeing on the stove burners and kitchen counters is more than I can handle :) We have a door to the kitchen (installed because of him) but sometimes forget to close it and surprise :) next time we cook we get to smell burning cat urine. Until you smelled it you have no idea :) Peeing on fresh laundry and in closets, while less offensive than the burners, also sucks So yeah, cage with toys, shelves and beds was all I can come up with

Lovely Little Latch
This is a quality little latch. Very sturdy and comes with the hardware to install. It got here very quickly. I'm putting it on the outside of a screen door that the cat can otherwise open by turning the inside handle (pesky animal), and I needed something that will really keep him in yet be easy for anybody (human) to use. The edges are a tad rough, but it doesn't matter, as this is not intended for a fancy decorative use. I might get more for the other doors if the cat keeps this up.

Love my latch!
I just received the latch yesterday and could hardly wait to install it on my kitchen's cat exclusion gate today. The gate, which I designed and built to keep my ever "helpful" kitty out, is made of vertical sections of white PVC tubing. I originally installed a simple hook and eye latch on the outside of the gate as a closure device, but it was hard to "thread the needle" with the hook while inside the kitchen. Now that the new flip latch had arrived, it took me a level, a Phillips micro screwdriver, a pencil, an electric drill and about 5 minutes to install it on the gate. I like its silvery finish, which is rather attractive. It is easy to open and close, both from outside and inside the kitchen. It is certainly sturdy enough to keep the gate securely closed and the cat out of the kitchen. What's not to love?

Love, love these latches!
I made a murphy bed and needed latches to hold the bed in the "cabinet" when it is up. I used galvanized metal roofing on the front and these latches are perfect! They look great with the galvanized metal, are easy to install, slide open and closed easily, and when open the latch slides into the main part giving it a clean look. If I ever do another project like this where I need latches, I will definitely be using these.

Made Very Nice!
High Quality Material Used in making these Latches. Very Fast to install. Works Great. Please see Picture. I used this to stop a Draw from keep on opening.

great for quick setup!
Easy to install and works great for my purpose. However, I use my gate only about once a week. For heavy, everyday use I would recommend the same model, but one more durable. That exact same item, but much more suited for everyday use is the SUS304. Something quite similar and a little cheaper is the Alise MS8001. All three are equally suited to be opened from either side.

Sturdy and easy to mount
Well finished, and perfect for some cabinets I had that wouldn't stay closed. Used these on cabinets that closed flush, with a center divider. Easy to mount and there was flexibility in mounting placement due to type of mount. Had tried magnetic mounts with these cabinets with no success at all. These are easier for my arthritic hands to operate than the small turn latches.

My dog has yet to escape
Very nice, very easy to install. My Australian Shepherd can apparently jump up and unlatch the gate whenever he wants so I had to find a way to make it more secure. So far this has worked great, and it hasn't shown any signs of corrosion despite being directly exposed to the elements.
