Great opener and suppor.

the Ghost gate motor is the best , far far better than the 5 Mighty mule products i have had over the years--they last about 12-15 months, and cost to repair the circuit board (which is always soaked in condensation and fails) is as much as a new one.). The wireless keypad works well too, and is nicely lit. so far, i really like this gate and it's OUTBOARD circuit board and controller... DON"T get an controller that is in the motor assembly, of a gate opener.. you won't like how often it fails. This WILL NOT fit a ROUND 3" metal poll like support said it would. I had to use my welder friend to modify the Ghost pole mount to fit the wider pole (metal) most people would have, not the 2 inch pole their hardware would fit, out of the box. GRRR (and i called B4 i ordered to cover this little detail... they weren't aware that there are large metal gate pole out there for metal farm gates, apparently.

Great functionality and easy to program

I really like this product. It can be programmed with 20 access codes so you can give people that require access a code that is unique to them that they can remember. It also has the ability to store codes that can only be used the number of times that you specify. This is a great feature if you need to give a code to a contractor or delivery company that only needs access a few times. The instructions were easy to follow and programming the unit was easy. If you have a remote that is already programmed with the opener code you can use the remote to load the opener code into the key pad. I purchased this unit to use with a single gate opener. Overall I am very impressed with the products made by Ghost Controls. I am anxiously waiting for the Zombie Lock to be released so I can install it to insure my gate is not only closed, but also locked.

SIMPLICITY

Needed an extra one for exiting vehicles. UPS, FedEx, and visitors were tired of having to limbo under structure beside gate to enter code on entry keypad to be able to leave. Very simple to program and install. I didn’t get the steel mounting arm that is available and constructed my own out of lumber. Not difficult but in retrospect it would have been much more convenient to purchase the mounting arm and it would look better as well. I’m probably going to get the arm anyway now and redo it. So I suggest buying the mounting arm. The pad is working as expected and so far no problems.

Works Great

Have had two of these for almost a year and they are still working flawlessly. Ghost Controls' customer service is EXCELLENT which is why I decided to go with them. You won't regret buying an opener from Ghost Controls.
