I'm very pleased with this item! I wanted a way to make sure my craft projects were straight and this works wonders. I also love that it comes with an attachment where I can fasten it to the table I'm working on. I also have a tripod that works to hold it for hanging pictures etc. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

HUGE TIME SAVER

What a time saver, redoing my basement so i'm putting up walls next to the concrete. This helps so much for making a straight line over 20' from end to end and from top to bottom. When putting in electrical outlet it makes that super easy to as they are all the same level. The clip works fine but a tripod is much better, my old camera tripod did the trick. Even with a well light basement this shows up great.

Great for painting stripes - Get a camera tripod.

I used a camera tripod and that really helped getting the lines for the stripes exactly where I wanted them. The self balancing came out perfectly level. I checked my lines with a level and it was dead on. I had to close the blinds to make the lines a little bit more visible. Great tool!

A must have for the DIY crowd

Awesome product that allows me to install a variety of things without using a cumbersome level especially over a fairly wide distance. Replaced my Craftsman laser that finally gave up the ghost after lots and lots of use. It also shows just how poorly your house was built ;) - didn't they use levels?

Pro quality

This laser level is easy to use, has very easy to understand owners manual. The clamp on bracket can be used or a tripod.

It works perfectly. Maybe the clamp is not the best way to fix it to a surface or ladder but you can attach another accessory to the base in case you need it. My only complain is that it doesn't have a way to calibrate it or at least is not documented on the manual.

the GLL 30 does the job for me

the GLL 30 works great for my use. would be nice if it had some type of 360 rotation swivel. i was able to adapt the swivel base of an older laser level to this, and now i can use it for all my leveling needs.

Invest in quality! Very pleased

I bought two of these to use for my screen printing business. I use these for alignment purposes and they help me place the garment in the correct location while printing my logo for consistency purposes. I am very pleased with the durability and quality of these units. They blink on and off if not level which kind of bugged me at first (since I use facing down) but I eventually got used to it and was actually happy it wasn't constantly blaring down on me. The lasers are very bright and work perfectly for me. There is an auto shut off after about 30 minutes which was also a bummer at first but quickly learned that was a good thing as well -- for those times I forget to shut them off after I'm done. Overall very glad I purchased these (I'm sure my customers are as well), they were well worth the price!

Great value for a DIYer

This laser level is very accurate and helpful. I used for reference lines while tiling showers and installing cabinets. It allowed for very accurate and precise work without the hassle of constantly grabbing levels to check your work. It has level and plumb lines and both are on (no selection between the two). The mount it comes with is very sturdy and versatile but I would highly recommend a tripod. It would be nice if it came with a case but for the price it is a great value.
