Your Old Cables Are Increasing Device Charge Time!

After buying a DROK USB meter, I went through ALL of my old USB to micro-USB and USB to Lightning cables to see how much charge current they could pass. Many I've had for several years. Probably 90% of them were limiting current flow to less than one ampere. A couple were only good for 300-500 mA! Into recycling with the lot of them. Most modern devices can charge at 2-3A over the USB cable, and these RAMPOW cables handle it with ease. My spouse noticed that her tablet charges in less than half the time now, and all I changed was the CABLE! I am surprised and pleased with the performance of these cables.

Good customer service.

I use two different cords. One is by my bed and the other is in my car. The one I was using in my car started having electrical problems and would no longer go into the charging port on the phone so I bought this pack to immediately replace the one in my car and then later the one by my bed. The reason I bring this up is because I have no issues whatsoever with the cord by my bed and the new cord I bought from this company refuses to charge my phone unless I position the phone and cord just right. The connection is extremely poor and it's practically useless. Don't waste your money on this product. I am completely stumped as to how it has so many 5 star reviews. I'm assuming it's another company that paid for it's reviewers. Update 5-10-17: While I am unhappy with the product and the fact that it did not work for me I was still very impressed with the customer service. Shortly after writing this review I was contacted by their customer service who without me even asking sent out two new replacement cords. By this point I was frustrated by my old phone and it's dying battery that I just elected to get a new phone and was unable to test out the new cords. However, I checked my old cord I have been using for several months and it is a Ramprow so the cords work. I am unsure of why these two did not and can only assume something happened during shipping. After I explained the situation about me buying a new phone that will no longer use these cords their customer service again apologized and refunded me the entire purchase price. I still am unsure on the quality of the product but I feel happy enough to change my review to 5 stars because after my experience I know that their customer service will work hard to fix any problems if they do occur and they truly stand by their product.

Great cords. Great price. Great warranty!

Are they 5 star cords? here's the reasoning behind the rating. They work well and are better quality than many cords at a higher price point. I prefer the braided fabric coating around RAMPOW cords compared to rubber coated as they're more forgiving when pinched or folded. I try to care for my things and have no doubt the cords will outlive these two phones. TIP FOR LOOSE CONNECTION: These didn't attach as securely as I had hoped. They easily detached from my S7 and Note 4 with very little tension. Not an issue because you can raise the two "teeth" (See Pic) on the micro USB (phone or device end) with fingernail clippers to give the cord a solid connection to your phone. I rarely give 5 stars but these are above average cords at a bargain price that include a lifetime warranty. I appreciate RAMPOW's email reminding me to register for the lifetime warranty. They didnt have to send that but they did and it shows that they stand behind their product. That deserves 5 stars.

Rampow is really awesome.

I purchased these back in February of this year after trying a bunch of other charging cables that wouldn't hold up at all. These are extremely good for the price you pay. They charge my phone and tablet quickly without getting hot. The only problem I had was that one of my cords recently broke/came detached from the side that plugs into my phone after several months of use. I contacted Rampow and they replaced it with absolutely no problems at all after I provided them with a bit of information about the issue. Customer service was awesome. They replaced both cables and I only had an issue with one of them! This is the first company that I have experienced that truly stands behind their "lifetime warranty" not only by replacing products that don't hold up but also by not charging me more money for the replacement. I honestly will never purchase any other brand now. Excellent service and excellent product.

Yup. This is the usb you want. The sell point is peace of mind in absolute best quality; paired with lifetime warranty. There is a saying you pay for what you get. Buying the chinese ripoff will forfiet the effort made by this brand. This is the maximum effective dollar. How has it held after 2 weeks? About what I want. Moderately used USB side has 0 noticable fray. While *heavily* used[abused] microUSB side shows very slight(3 -4 nylon strands of a single band -pic below) Im a user who keeps thr cord bent at the ends, the weakspot of almost all cables. So expecting damage would be typical for almost any cable regardless of price or quality, but ive been surpised at its relience to daily usage. No maybes, this is the best usb cord that you can gift to electronic geeks.

This is my second review to correct my previous 3 star review. I previously gave a 3 star review for this product, for my phone wasn't charging as fast as the original cord; however, after I had restarted my phone, the phone did, in fact, charge just as fast as the original. My previous review didn't go unnoticed; in fact, within a day, I had received advice and an offer to replace the "possible defective" cord from Susan, but I told Susan that the cord was working now since I restarted my phone. I told her that I was actually going to buy another for my car because I liked the longer cord, for the Verizon cig. lighter charger kept unplugging on me. Seriously, within minutes, she responded and sent another cord. It was delivered within two days! These cables have a nice feel to them; they are strong and see well-built, and they work great! I highly recommend them and the customer service is impeccable! Thank you Susan!

Great cords, work perfectly and hard to lose!

We needed a few spare charging cables to use around the house or when traveling. We got this set of 2, plus a longer one by the same manufacturer. We love them, they work great with all of our devices - the Motorola phone, the Samsung phone, the Kindle Fire HDX, a tablet, power banks and even my electronic Vape. While I can't comment for long-term durability they seem very sturdy and I love the red color, they're easy to spot and hard to lose.

Will work for less than a year. - UPDATED

UPDATE: Since my original review, the seller has reached out to me and offered to send a new pack free of charge. The new ones work great and my frustrated review (below) has changed. I realize now that they have a lifetime warranty and likely would've replaced these free had I just contacted them. Great customer service regardless. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The charger worked great for a while. Of the two, the first one just stopped working about 7-8 months of owning it. The second one just recently only allowed slow charging (takes several hours to charge from 50% to 100%). My Galaxy S7 literally said "phone charging slowly" and it completely quit fast-charging. Add that on top of intermittent non-charging. I'm frustrated because these shouldn't last only a year of use! It's like you made it to last long enough where people wouldn't mind buying another pack, when in reality you did it to have recurring customers.

Update: they sent me a new one after this review

Update: they sent me a set of new cords after I posted this review and seemed to really care to find out what was wrong. They asked me several questions etc and I gave them all the info they needed and they sent me a new one. They have great customer service if they are wanting to make things right and step up to the plate to fix things. I'm very satisfied with rampow and have multiple cables from them. They do not fast charge. They don't even charge fast enough to keep up with using my phone on low screen setting and all as turned off while writing this review. I started at 20% and down to 18%. I have a 6.5" that works very well though, don't know what is up with these 3ft ones.

Only buy RAMPOW, save more buy spending a bit more!

I have only written one review before this as my first one (written for a seller of cologne) was rejected by Amazon because it was so positive Amazon thought I was the business owner, which I was not, but I do work in a very high level corporate management position which gives me the experience of writing business material, thus I was not able to convince Amazon (however, it is commendable for Amazon to strictly check the authentication of it's reviews!), which brings me to my point: I decided it necessary to write this review for this seller, sacrificing my precious time off, glass of Chardonnay untouched on my kitchen countertop, only because I have finally found the best phone power cords company ever. I write this in vengeance against all the other sellers from whom I purchased power cords from only to find weeks later that my phone wasn't charging anymore as the wires of the cord, without warning, decided to set themselves free from their outer rubber casing. With this RAMPOW product, I am completely, 100% satisfied. With their lifetime guarantee I can rest easy knowing that IF something goes wrong, I won't have to start from the drawing board again and search endlessly for a replacement on Amazon.
