Good addition to your bread baking tools!
Enjoying this addition to my growing banneton collection. The depth to width ratio is perfect for the size/shape I like in my boules, and I love the dough scraper that came with it! Much more functional for removing dough from its container than others I’ve used. One thing of note: the logo on my scraper flaked off a bit, but the company has resolved the problem for future orders and will send a replacement scraper to anyone having that issue free of charge. I appreciate that kind of customer service!

Don't Be Fooled By Imitations!
I haven't been brave enough to use it without the liner yet, since the whole purpose I bought this product was to have a gentler transfer to the baking pan to avoid the degassing I was having with an otherwise tasty recipe, but I know that I can. I've seen a lot of these on the market with really awful material comprising the actual bowl. No worries for weird splinters in your beautiful bread, with this banneton, the inside is smooth as silk. The scraper is a nice bonus. I hadn't picked one up yet, but had been planning on it.

Great Banneton and Customer Service
I ordered the 9" round banneton which includes an orange scraper and they both arrived in perfect condition. The following day, I received an e-mail from Danny with Bread Bosses. His e-mail said "It has been brought to our attention that the orange scraper included in your banneton set may have a slight problem, but nothing Bread Bosses can't fix!" It appears that the Bread Bosses logo on the orange scraper can peel off and they are offering a free replacement. I then replied to the e-mail and within hours, Danny responded that a replacement scraper would arrive within a week. I am really impressed with Bread Bosses customer service and their pro-active response to an issue with the dough scraper. Also, after my purchase, I received an e-mail from Bread Bosses with video instructions on how to use the banneton and an e-book on how to make a sourdough starter. These were really nice added bonuses.

Excellent banneton with high quality liner and scraper!
Love the quality of this proofing basket! Banneton comes with well made linen liner that easily prevents the dough from sticking, allowing the dough the easily tip out before slashing and baking. The bowl scraper is excellent - nice and flexible, works better than the other scrapers I've used in the past that are more firm and don't conform the the various bowl sizes as well. Certainly helps make your job even easier! Perfect for my purposes (1kg dough) 👍

Hey, I just used this for the very first time today...I got it mainly to try and use the refrigerator method to slow raise my sourdough that I have been making for a couple years...this is so great I am thinking about buying another one so I can do two at a time....just getting used to this but it's great... Much better bread with this basket!
I have always had a difficult time getting my bread to rise properly in my drafty old house, this proofing basket has increased my proper proofing to 100% success. To date, since implementing this basket, every loaf has proofed beautifully without changing any other parts of my process. Make sure to flour well to decrease sticking and make sure the cover is on the very top rung, the dough will fill the cover - I have actually had it rise so well that it popped the cover off!

I really love this product
I really love this product. The bowl scraper is the best and the cloth for the inside of the basket works great. Now, the basket is great and makes a beautiful pattern on the bread. The trick to not having the dough stick to the basket is to use rice flour, which works much better than regular flour. You have to dust quite a bit of the rice flour into the basket - more than you think you need, so do not be skimpy with the rice flour. If you do not want to use rice flour or do not have any, then use the cloth that comes with the basket to line the basket. The cloth however, does not allow the basket pattern to imprint on the bread, but makes removing the proofed dough clean and easy. This is a lovely product and I would buy it again.

Quality Tools for SD bread making!
Bread Bosses are the “Boss” when it comes to bakers tools with their banneton sets made of high quality rattan, (no splintering, no molding, and water wicking capabilities for that perfect crust on your loaves) not to mention theiy come with a beautiful quality linen cover which one can use or not. Also, did I mention the dough scraper? Fits perfectly in the bakers hand and has the right amount of flexibility that every baker needs for getting the job done. I’ve been baking for a long time and appreciate thoughtful, well made tools for both commercial and home baking. Thank you, Bread Bosses! P.S. LOVE this banneton!
Well after making bread for years... I finally broke down and purchased this banneton (after reading many reviews) and a cutting edge expensive beveled bench knife. This is my very first loaf with a banneton (no sticking; I followed enclosed directions). I purchased the 9 inch banneton and glad I did. It works for very small loaves and for larger loaves. This photo of my first loaf baked in this banneton is of Teresa L. Greenway's mother-dough Sunny Sourdough recipe and baked in cast iron Dutch oven with parchment. Really like the banneton and how it gently dries the dough just a bit on the outside when proofing (helps hold the shape it seems). Don't know why I waited so long. I guess the stories about mold etc. and care delayed me. For the first use I wiped the inside of the banneton with a damp cloth then lightly sprayed the banneton with water and dusted with 1/2 rice flour and 1/2 AP flour. I heavily dusted the banneton with this same flour mix prior to first loaf proof. I only cover the top of the banneton with plastic during proofing (not the sides) so the air gets to the sides of the dough.. but does not dry out the top. Also I proof in the refrigerator. Highly recommend.

Excellent proofing basket!
Great results! Fun for larger loaves. Good build quality. The scraper it comes with is excellent, and when the scraper had a minor issue of the logo peeling off, they offered to replace it.
