Wish I had this 15 yrs ago. Does a great job. I was concerned it would be cheaply constructed and made of thin metal, but it is NOT. The vice in particular impressed me, it is very robust. Mine has cut perfectly straight right out of the box. Quiet and fast cutting. The only part of the saw that is disappointing is the trigger handle. It feels cheap and like an afterthought.

Brilliant at cutting aluminum tubing. Aluminum is not hard to cut unless you need the cut to be perfect!!! A band saw is the right tool. I double checked all the alignments. All were perfect out of the box. Motor and gear train is quiet. Power is good for aluminum; I have not tried on steel. My new favorite power tool.

I get the best wife award! Bought this as a gift for my husband just because. He’s already using it and loving it. Something he always wished he had and never bought. He is able to do perfect mitred corners. Currently cutting steel angle to make plant stands for our patio...cuts like butter!

Ready to go right out of the box. This is a great saw with alot of power, and the stock blade works better than expected. First thing I cut was a rusty 3" dia. 3/8" wall steel pipe, then I made 20 cuts through some 5/8" steel all thread rod, no problem at all. I added a tiny amount of WD40 to the cutting area and Fed the blade slowly and the saw sliced right through so clean that I didn't even need to file the threads on the rod to put a nut on the cut ends.

this thing a workhorse . for steel I run it at half speed and any non-ferrous material I fun at full speed. i do use a cutting lubricant i do not use the adjustable blade thing, due to it let it get out of square... i get it squared up and keep everything really tight, it comes really square from the factory the only complaint i have is the vise screw on the bottom of the thing need to be a little longer!

For $236 this bandsaw is rock solid and works great. I needed something to cleanly cut aluminum and didn't want anything more than a benchtop saw (so I can put it away when done) and while this was one of the more inexpensive options, the reviews were mediocore. I checked out a few YouTube reviews and took the plunge - and am glad I did. It's not perfect but at this price point it exceeded my expectations! I can't vouch for cutting anything more than aluminum but so far, it rocks.

Couldn't ask for more saw at this price. Have not cut any 45° yet but it's cutting 1/8, 2x2 tube easily and square. A good stationary bandsaw is a must for any metal fabrication shop. Update: on my 3rd blade now but still love this saw. Just like anything, you have to maintain it to keep it functioning properly. The #1 issue is the clamp will develop play over time, allowing the work piece to move slightly while being cut. This takes the blade off the wheels. Easy fix - flip it over and tension the 2 bolts that hold it. I also love how quite this is compared to everything else I have to cut with. Blades are easier to find now too. Lot of bang for you $ in this saw. Update 2: The chip/circuit board blew. Shortly after the speed control stopped working, smoke rose from the motor area. I had the saw just longer than warranty would cover so I had little hope. I called customer service and they immediately knew what went wrong. In less than 5 business days, I had a new board mailed to me at no cost. Wish it didn't break but couldn't ask for better customer service.

After over 100 cuts in with this saw and I’m very happy. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I squared it up. The angle finder on the base is close but not money. Even baring down on the blade it still cuts straight. I found extra blades that fit, here on amazon. This little guy is perfect for my hobby fab garage/shop. Well worth the money especially if you are using a grinder with a cut off disc like I was. Save your time, lungs, and ears.

This has probably saved lives. For years I have cut stock in my garage with a cutting wheel.....I have had more than one shatter while using it. This unit just calmly and neatly cuts what I need. I worry about blade durability because there is no native cooling but it hasn't failed me yet.

Excellent saw for the price. I am able to store on a shelf in a closet. Uses about the same amount of shelf space as my DeWalt 14" chop saw. I have cut steel bars, pipe, and aluminum bars without any issues. Cuts true if setup square. The variable speed control comes in handy.
