Fantastic Customer Service!!

[EDIT] I received a very prompt reply back that this company is sending me out a replacement set for my one bum lock! They also suggested I try another (default) code to see if that would make my one work. But either way they're sending me out a new set and not making me return the bum one! Fantastic customer service--I'm extremely happy with them!! I purchased 2 sets of these (totaling 4 locks), but I can't get one lock to program. I've sent an email to customer service as I only have 3/4 working locks. It's like the one lock already has a code set into it and I can't change it. I will change my rating depending on how customer service works for me. Otherwise they're pretty nice, smaller locks. We're using them on outside fences. They're only about 2-3 inches big, so don't get these if you need a larger lock than that. They seem pretty sturdy though for such a small lock.

Great customer service

UPDATE : I emailed the company about the broken lock and received a new package of locks the next day. Hoping the faulty lock was a one off. Great customer service and obviously a company that stands behind their product. Appreciate that! I purchased this package of 2 locks for my kids gym lockers. They have gym 2-3 days a week so only using occasionally. After one week (3 uses) the first lock failed to lock again. We have tried to re-set it multiple times etc. with no luck. My son now doesn't want to try the 2nd lock as he can't take a chance that it won't work. Missed the return deadline by 3 days as we didn't put into use right away. Don't waste your money.

Two Stars

11/7/16 The company contacted me and told me how upset they were that the first set didn't work and offered to send me a set for free. They work great and are much bigger and stronger then the Masterlock set I bought. I'm going to order a two more sets to replace the masterlock set. Name brand isn't always worth the extra money. Outstanding value!!

This pair of locks is an outstanding value and needed my immediate review. They arrived today along with the two refridgerator hasps I ordered for our wine refridgerators. The whole mission was two secure the contents of the fridges BEFORE teens became a thing in our lives (lock before the horses got away). Back to the lock set... besides the fact that they come in pairs (because I needed a pair) and besides the fact that they come in black ( because our wine refridgerators are black) and besides the fact that the code is easy to to (so I can have the same code for both refridgerators), these are very good quality light to medium security locks and a huge value at 2 for $10. I recommend these locks without hesitation.

Cheap Locks

I'm revising my 1 Star review due to Puroma's excellent Customer Service. I sent them an email and also left a 1 Star review when my first order came in as 2 faulty locks. They were quick to respond and immediately sent me 2 brand new locks that work perfectly. I haven't had enough time to test the new locks but here's hoping they last for a good amount of time. Thanks, Puroma! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cheap and affordable is what got my attention. Unfortunately, the products are exactly that, CHEAP and faulty. Long story short, both of the locks they sent me do not work. The first lock, I set it accordingly and managed to open the lock and went about the rest of the instructions. I inputted my own combination, but when I tried opening it, my combination doesn't work. I tried resetting it by again using their codes but it will not open. The second one, I did the same thing. It opened for me to set. I set my new combination, but when I went to lock it, it will not lock as if something is stuck in there. I understand that things can be faulty and not always work accordingly, but two brand new locks with obvious mishaps were sent to me. Do they not test the locks before leaving the facility? This is simply unacceptable. Very unhappy with my purchase.

Just perfect for the gym locker.

They look pretty sturdy. Setting the custom combo was a breeze. Packaged great, instructions & litriture looks clear and easy. Very pleased with these locks.

Great locks.

I'm not sure why some people here gave these locks such negative reviews - they are quite solid. They're not durable enough to keep a determined thief out of your stuff, but they're perfect for the gym or a suitcase. It's great that you can set the combination. The quality seems high - the barrels and lock move smoothly. The only quirk is that the lock mechanism doesn't "click." When you turn the barrels to the correct combination, it just slides open. Not a huge deal, but this is the only lock I've had that opens like this. Anyhow, you can't beat the price for two locks of this quality. Good stuff.

Tricky locks to set but excellent customer service

I received the two Puroma locks quickly via prime. I could not set one of them, and contacted customer service via email. Got a response the same day and my problem was fully resolved. So five stars for the excellent customer service. The locks are very good. Once set properly, they work very well. But if they arrive with the wrong initial combination set, you will need to contact customer service to get that issue resolved. The locks seem quite sturdy. I am using mine outdoors to lock the back of a truck. So far these are doing the job. The hasp is thick and sturdy. And you cannot use hasp tension to open the lock without the combination, so these are safe.

Good locks for the price and great customer service!

So I bought 6 locks at the same time, which arrived quickly. I followed the instructions to change the combination (not difficult, easy to read and understand, which I really appreciate, especially these days!) All but one easily changed combinations. (Even though I did the exact same process for each.) I emailed to ask if there was a way to reset the one, and they immediately sent out another two locks, which both worked just fine, with no questions asked! All locks still work fine to this day!

Perfect for the Gym

Recently started going back to the gym. I needed something to keep my locker shut without having to worry about loosing the key. This was perfect. It fits the gym lockers. I love that it came as a two pack because it allowed me to give the other to my fiancé. It was very easy to set your own number combination! Perfect affordable lock.
