This truck is great. It has so many fun components to it -- lights, sounds, lever to pull, buttons -- and encourages action of pushing ball through the hole. My 8 month old loves pushing it as he crawls and I imagine will enjoy it even more when he can pull it as he walks. I do worry just a bit about the string being a strangle hazard (since it is a bit long) so I just make sure I'm around when he's playing with it. Great price and so glad I found this!

I ordered two of these for two little cousins' first birthdays. They have had them for 3 months now, and these little trucks are still one of their favorite toys. They pull it around, push the balls through the hole, put other things in the dump truck bed and it even taught them to make the sound "Vroom vroom" (one of the sound effects). Although these were bought for boy babies, I think that girls would also like it. I am really pleased.

I bought this for my nephew for his birthday and according to my sister it provided days of entertainment. It's a good size for younger kids and all of the sounds/buttons/features kept him busy for hours. The pull string offers more ways to play and the little balls are the same size as the plastic balls included in other toys, so you probably already have a few extras lying around your house that you can use with this. As a bonus, my sister says her cat really enjoyed chasing the balls too.

Our baby girl LOVES this truck! She's 10.5 months old and she loves toys she has to figure out. She loves experimenting with this, putting the balls through the hole and watching them come out the other side, then trying other shaped toys, bigger balls, smaller balls, etc, and seeing what goes through. Amazing how a little dump truck can actually teach so much!

I ordered this Vtech Drop and Go dump truck for my 7 month old Grandson. I will tell you my 3 year old Grandson loves to play with it as well. I have loved Vtech quality toys since my children were youngsters. This dump truck can be pulled along, and when you pull it, it's buttons flash and the truck interacts with the child. There are colored rocks that can be pushed through the top hole in the cab and they go into the bed of the dumptruck. Each time you insert a rock the toys talks and responds with different phrases, plays melodies, and teaches tools and colors . The lever on the side of the truck does dump the bed of the dumptruck. The buttons can be pushed and light up. Good quality product. Uses 3 AAA batteries that are included and come pre-installed. This is an Amazon exclusive toy. I order this as a gift. I purchased this full price and was not compensated in any way for my thoughts. I rely on product reviews just like others to help make my purchase decisions so I try each product very carefully before reviewing and always do my best to leave honest opinions and provide as much facts as possible based solely on my experience.

Bought this when my son just turned 7 Months. Since the day it was delivered it’s been his absolute favorite toy. He plays with it everyday. He loves the “rocks” so much. He loves to hold it and bite it. Since he is still very young to “put the rocks in the hole” (the toy says that over and over 😄) , I do it for him and it really entertains him. The toy has buttons that lights up and teaches you to count from 1-3 (from the 3 rocks) . You pull the blue lever on the side and it dumps the rocks. Overall great toy !!

My great-nephew loves trucks and balls. This was the perfect gift and definitely the favorite gift of the star of the birthday party! He immediately started tossing the balls into the back of the truck and ‘discovered’ the popping action and dumping action. He accidentally pushed it backwards and was thrilled that it made noise and went forward. His parents and I strongly recommend! Will review in a few months concerning durability.

It's a simple little truck, but my one year old grandson really likes it - it even got his 3 year old brother over there, shoving the "boulders" in the top, so that they'd fall into the back bed and rumble around. It seems like a sturdy toy that will do well in the living room, as well as the sandbox!
