These came very quickly and I like the size un fortunately my granddaughter right now at 1 years old likes to chew on everything lol but we are being careful with them and her that’s was my other reason for getting them as I feel they are safer for her if she does try to eat them

Lovely chubby crayons & absolutely perfect for my 18m daughter's tiny hands. First impression... these are really expensive crayons!!! The reason I purchased these crayons is because they are 100% non toxic & 100% all natural. My daughter is enjoying coloring & drawing, along with exploration of crayons itself by taking a few tips off her crayons with her teeth. Due to safety concerns I started researching crayons more thoroughly. "Other brand" crayons are labeled "non toxic", but are actually low toxicity products with side effects if accidentally consumed. I was very shocked & felt the "non toxic" labeling/claims from these big name companies were very misleading. Also upon further research, "other brand" crayons which claim to be all natural are sadly not 100% all natural. These Honey Sticks are the purest crayons available on the market. Crayons do have a little bit of tackiness as mentioned in other review but did not bother my daughter or me. Keep in mind these are made from beeswax & do smell naturally wonderful. My daughter has dropped & tossed these crayons across over kitchen floor; they are quite sturdy, have kept it's shape & have not broke at all. Not the most washable crayons (they are not advertised as washable), but it will come off with a little muscle & scrubbing. Colors show up nicely with good pigmentation of colors. Consider how much time your little one will be using these crayons, would you allow your child to use low toxicity product & allow your child's little hands be in contact with a toxic product day in & out? These Honey Sticks are high quality made & worth their price, I would purchase again :-)

These are wonderful!! I read some reviews about them being 'smelly' and what-not but I find the smell of them to be extremely pleasant! They are a bit tacky feeling and if you have pets that shed (like mine do) they will collect some hair on them. The short fat ones are the perfect size for my little guys hands. I will be ordering the 'thins' and 'longs' in the near future since my son loves these. They produce vibrant colors on paper which was one of my hesitations in purchasing a natural crayon.

Bought this for my 16-month old grandson and he loves it!! As a first-time "Gramma", I enjoy my grandson so much and wanted something that's non-chemical items that comes close to his being. These crayons are perfect for his small grip, when he is just starting to scribble,, my daughter was a pre-school teacher before he was born, and she loves these, too!!! Because they are made of beeswax, they smell nice; unlike the popular, cheaper, "crayons kind" that are made in China nowadays. Sometimes, my grandson would put the tip to his mouth (he tests us now, lol), and I'm not worried, because there is not an eon of chemical on these things. I will be ordering a second set, so he has one set with us all the time. Do not hesitate to order this. They are pricey, but well worth the money!! ;)

From the get go, our daughter thought crayons looked delicious. These seemed like a great solution. They're stubby and easy for her to grab and the beeswax is much more relaxing for me if I catch her sticking it in her mouth. They've lasted me easily for over a year and look barely used, and they have definitely seen abuse that would break skinny crayons. So, highly recommended. A very neat and unique product.

I like how round they are for his little 2 yr old hands being his first set of crayons. I dont like how short they are for the price. 25.00 I understand they are made from pure ingredients and he could probably eat them and be perfectly fine. I still would like a little more length on those crayons. I expected more for my money. You get 12 colors. They color well on ruff/textured coloring paper and construction paper.

So I bought these worried about my almost 2 year old potentially eating a crayon and having that toxic kind of stuff in her system but I really should have been more worried about my dogs eating crayons which so far they've snagged 1 and a half of these babies with no health problems for them after so I'd say that's a major win. What is also fantastic about these crayons is that they are the perfect size for little hands. My daughter just lives to color with them and they color as smooth as Crayola and not all plasticy waxy like the crayons you get at the dollar store. So I'd definitely recommend these to anyone with a toddler, just watch for sneaky dogs. They'll gobble them up.

Got these crayons for little man. He just turned one and I'm trying to teach him how to color, even though he's still insistent that crayons are for eating. I get to do most of the actual coloring and I love the vibrancy of these crayons! They also smell so pleasant that they are a pleasure to use. Honestly, I'm not super into the organic lifestyle although I do buy organic when and where I can so it's a nice bonus to find crayons like these. These crayons put my mind at ease, for sure, especially when little dude decides to think of them as honey candy sticks. I thought they would be a bit longer but it turns out that they are just the right size for him, not the right size for mommy :( I'm going to have to get a set of the thin ones for myself and by golly, I will! That's how much I like them. I've really never seen such vibrant colors. If you look at the page in the pictures you will see that some areas are a dull color and some are a rich color. The areas shaded in rich colors are the ones with the honeysticks and the areas colored less brightly are colored with regular crayons. Maybe it's just me and my over-excitement about these crayons but I'm pretty sure there is a difference. They are a bit pricey but ultimately worth it because so far it's kind of impossible to break them, which makes them totally worth their price. You only need to buy one set. Unless you're like me and you're going to buy a second set for yourself, that is... Do they make these for actual adults? I found that coloring is therapeutic... just not when you are sharing your art space with a one year old who doesn't like to share his crayons and keeps trying to eat the very one you are coloring with.

Love these - the color is bright, they draw/color just like crayons, are thicker and easier to handle for small fingers, and thus do not break apart easily. No paper wrappers to get in the way. No smell of toxic colors like Crayola, and relief for a Mama who wants to mitigate the amount of toxicity in home, especially around baby. Highly recommend. In fact, 2 friends have already purchased and also love them. My daughter was 13 months old in this picture, easily coloring with these in hand. She LOVES it.

Wonderful even for the littlest artists. Gave these to my grandson (then 20 months old) who loves to color after I was horrified to find out that his previous "character" crayons were found to be contaminated with heavy metals and other undesirable ingredients. The colors are highly saturated and the wax is sufficiently soft so that both light and heavy strokes create an individualistic effect. Also if he occasionally puts it in his mouth it won't harm him. They are sufficiently large enough that I do not envision him succeeding in shoving one down his throat but of course he colors under supervision. I did not notice the sweet scent that other reviewers remarked about but it might seem that way to those who are accustomed to the chemical odor of petroleum based crayons. Size is perfect for toddler hands to grasp and too chunky for him to break. WELL worth the price and a reminder of how important it is for each of us to do our part to save the bees. Addendum: Grandson hurls these on the floor when he is done coloring and even so, they don't break!
