Bought for my teen daughter soon to be moving to her own place. She knew how to cook two things: toast and eggs. Bought this and it’s so easy, a child can do it. Scoop of rice, two scoops water, broccoli in the top steamer bowl, close the lid and push one button. Did not want something complicated. She makes rice and broccoli daily now. So at least she can cook three things...

Love it! Used to have a similar one from Sanyo but they stop manufacturing it. This one is great, within 15 minutes the rice is ready, easy to clean. Not a single rice stick in the pot, really non stick, no wastage & cute! Highly recommended!

I do a lot of meal prepping and cooking for myself as a guy who lives alone. I was consistently using "boil in bag" products. Well, this bad boy here has solved all of that. Its extremely easy to use (and smells great when it's cooking.) You just wash the rice to get rid of all the starch, put in the cooker and fill to the desired line. Flip the switch and just a few minutes later you have perfectly cooked rice. It also does a lot of other grains and comes with a streaming basket as well for veggies. Most importantly: it is extremely easy to clean. The little rice holder is made of a very nice material which gets the hard pieces out pretty easy.

I've made scrambled eggs, soft boiled eggs, spaghetti and meatballs, mac and cheese, lentils, beans, oh! and rice with this thing. It's a lifesaver in my dorm room where I'm sharing one kitchen with a couple hundred other people – I only need the kitchen maybe once or twice a week since I've got this thing! 100% buy it if you're a college student, it'll pay for itself by the money you save cooking in instead of eating out. Recipe tips: Spaghetti and meatballs Precooked frozen meatballs, whole wheat pasta, jarred sauce of choice. Put pasta in (as flat as possible, something like macaroni works well here, or just break spaghetti in half.) and cover with water until it's just a fingertip above the pasta. Add a dash of vegetable or olive oil (this prevents the water from bubbling out the steam vent.) Put meatballs in the steamer tray and close the lid. Turn on the machine. When it dings, unplug immediately and pull out the meatballs, use the rice spoon to make sure no pasta sticks to the bottom and if it did just scrape it off right away. Add sauce and stir, then close the lid to let it all get warm together. Enjoy! Scrambled eggs: With the lid open, press the bucket down and press cook. Hold the bucket down or it won't stay on cook! Add butter and eggs at the same time, starting to stir right away with the rice paddle. Continue stirring gently as the eggs slowly start to cook. You can take breaks from stirring if you like larger curds, but I'm a fan of the Gordon Ramsay technique so I stir the whole time. Once the eggs start to stick together and look close to done but still soft, add shredded cheese and stir. Lift your hand from the side of the bucket and let it turn to warm, close the lid and let the eggs finish setting, just a minute. Season with salt and pepper, spread on toast, add hot sauce if desired. Bon appetit!

This rice cooker is easy to use, makes great rice and is a good value. It's also easy to clean. I've purchased several rice cookers with digital features which seem to break right after the warranty expires. This one skips digital features and is simple to use and costs a lot less to get the same job done. And it makes better rice. Highly recommend.

I love this rice maker. To be honest it's my first rice maker, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, it is far superior to making rice on the stove top. Just follow the directions and turn it on and you can leave it alone. Perfect rice every time. Also easy to clean.

So far so Good! We've learned from using rice cookers for over 20 years to unplug it as soon as it is done, otherwise your rice will overcook.

First time I've ever been able to make fool proof fluffy Basmati rice! But not by following the instructions in the booklet! Here's what you do: 1) rinse the rice in water to remove starch (I swoosh rice + water it in a pot, drain, repeat, until water runs clear. Takes a while but worth it!) 2) soak the rice for twenty minutes to one hour 3) drain soaking water and add rice plus an equal amount of fresh water to cooker, and set it to go. So for example, one REAL cup Basmati plus one REAL cup of water makes perfect rice every time. Cute little rice cooker that is the perfect size for my small family.

So many friends love their rice cookers so I decided to buy this and try it. I love it. Learning from tips of friends, I have so far only used Jasmine or short grain brown rice, rinsed it well before adding to cooker and THEN adding the water. Many of the reviewers for this cooker complained about too much or too little water and my rice has always come out perfect using this method. Using 2 cups rice, I add water to the 2 cup line AFTER RICE IS ALREADY IN THE COOKER. The instructions say it will take about 30 minutes and I've found it takes more like 20 to cook. It flips to warm and stays warm for hours. I would definitely buy this again.

Amazing I love this I have been using it for the past few months. I can make rice and veg or Rice and seasons steamed fish ( small pieces) it cooks faster than the stove top. I come in from a morning run Put on my rice cooker veggies salmon. By the time I am dressed my Lunch is hot and ready to go. It cooks faster and unattended. Nonstick pot easier to clean ( The steaming bowl has gotten discolored by purple cabbage still so happy). Even a kid 10-year-old can use this with no worries of them burning down the kitchen.
