Affordable and just works!
Wow I was skeptical that this would work considering many of these are twice the price. This just works and whats nice about this one over some of the competition is that only the sender requires power. So if you have a wall mount TV in another room, you can just tuck the receiver behind the TV and not worry about how your are going to power it. Also the sender not only has an input but an output as well. So in my test case a Dish Network receiver went into the sender, and then the output of the sender went into the local TV. In another room connected via Cat5e the cable goes right into this OREI receiver and then into another TV. The IR repeater function worked flawlessly as well. Finally if that's not the icing on the cake, we received this item 18 1/2 hours after we ordered it online! I would consider this item for future projects and as long as it hold up I would definitely buy again.

Works great, I'll double down on 5 stars.
I used a 100' cat 5 cable and hooked it up to send the HDMI out from our U-Verse DVR to my 43" 4K UHD TV that I use as a computer monitor. Quality was great, especially since I can't really get very far from the screen in this situation. Ultimately I'll run this cable into the master bedroom and we'll add another 4K TV in the 55" size range. If 4K content ever becomes common I'll look to purchase the 4K version of this. I haven't setup and tested the IR remote control relay features, hopefully no problems here. Followup, I got the new TV installed in the bedroom and got the IR relay feature working. First problem is it takes a lot more force than I expected to get theIR plugs fully into the jacks. Positioning the IR receiver is pretty easy, but positioning the sender is pretty hit and miss since its in a different room. But the setup works great to control the DVR.

Good HDMI Extender
I bought these for use in sending a duplicate CCTV signal to another monitor in another room. The run is about 65-75 feet of cat 5 cable. I experimented around with 50 foot cat 5 cables just to make sure everything worked as it was supposed to before I did the final install. Just a heads up: mine did not like to be sent over any patched cable or connectors like several patch cords connected with a double female connector. Some of the other reviews used adapters and all worked out well for them, so maybe some of my connectors are suspect. That said, make sure all of the RJ45 connectors on your cat 5/6 cable are good and hopefully you have a straight run with no extra connections. The other reviews are correct that you only need to power one end. The final install went smooth and it does what it says it will do. Nice clean video (I didn’t need the audio). I will definitely get another set for another project I’m starting.

Better than the wireless
I started with a wireless transmitter. It was a mess, always had to re-initiate and connect the transmitter and receiver, picture was uneven. I decided to run the wire and bought this set. I hooked up a box at my TV and the other at my 2nd TV, ran the wire in the basement, and plugged the cat 5 cable in. Its worked ever since. never touched it. Picture is good though its only a 24" TV for the kitchen.

I used this to connect my main/gaming PC to my projector in my great room about 100 ft away
I just about never write reviews. I'm compelled to say something about this product. I used this to connect my main/gaming PC to my projector in my great room about 100 ft away. I ran CAT 6 through the attic and two insulated exterior walls. I tried the Steam Link to accomplish this, but with the 135 inch screen size the compression artifacts and quality loss were too obvious. Plus I wanted to game in 3D and that can only work over a direct connection from the PC to the projector. With the EDID handshake, this bad boy works with my 3D projector flawlessly. It operates exactly as good as my PC did when directly connected to the projector. There are no compression artifacts, no quality loss, no frame drops... nothing I could detect. I'm super impressed with this, especially for the price. Coupled with a USB over CAT6 adapter and a USB hub on the receiving end, I've extended my PC two rooms away. My projector operates as a 3rd screen. Too awesome!

Works great needed to flip a dip switch
This product is small and easy to hook up. It works as advertised and a great solution to extend your TV watching to another location. I used Cat 6 cable to run from a sun-room on the first floor to a basement exercise room the distance is about 30 feet, Cat 6 cable 35 feet. When I hooked everything up the picture was great but the sound was very intermittent and unintelligible. The small manual mentions picture quality and recommends changing dip switch settings on the circuit board depending on distance between the two units. I unscrewed the two small screws holding on the cover of the receiving unit, studied the switch settings graphic on the instruction paper and in a guess flipped the #3 switch down (all were up factory setting). Hooked everything back up and checked it before putting the cover back on and viola the sound was great, picture still great, upstairs TV works great, Dish Hopper remote works in the basement to control the TV. Totally happy with this product.

Good Video/Audio but no IR
Got my extender hooked up and adjusted. The length adjustment I had to settle on for steady audio produces some little sparkles in the video that are visible when close but pretty much are unseen at a normal viewing distance. The biggest problem is the IR function is not working. Tried every thing I could think of but have had no luck so far, so only 4 stars awarded. Update: Changing my rating to 5 stars. The IR function is now working. Found that I had actually not located the DVR's IR window so, after securing the blaster to the shelf in front of the DVR, I used some cardboard squares in front of the DVR and slid them around until I located where the sensor was. BOOYAH!

Wow
I wanted to utilize my CAT6 wiring in my house to be able to move a Dish Network connected TV to any wired room. Short review is I set the Hopper at the Cat6 hub and utilized the HDMI signal and IR control thru the extender. Can utilize the Dish remote and the quality is great. Even tested with a 150' section and it worked. Be sure to set the dip switches to eliminate any data dropouts. I am completely happy with this solution!

An HDMI solution that works
I used the system for church and it functioned flawlessly. I’m showing video on a ~65” flat screen located at the front of the church. I’m controlling the “monitor” with my laptop from the back of the church. (Approximately 60’) the actual Cat 6 cable length is 85’. Not only did the system function flawlessly, but the video seemed to be more vibrant than it was when using a 100’ HDMI cable with a repeater. More importantly though, the company was very responsive and helpful when I had an issue that ended up being a bad, new out of the box, Cat 6 cable. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Great product!
I originally purchased this product to view my surveillance cameras on my TV downstairs in my kitchen. I utilized 100’ of cat6 cable and it worked perfectly! I decided I also wanted the option to view my cameras on my living room TV as well so I upgraded to a dual unit. Utilizing both a 70’ and 100’ run, I had a few complications, but customer service was second to none! Every response was sent to me within 24 hours and efficient and effective service was provided to me! It now functions flawlessly! I will recommend this company and their products to anybody who will listen! My friend is already going to purchase my original single unit from me since I upgraded.
