Works great! It was nice to find something that worked with the remotes we use as the other brands we have tried in the past did not include IR with the extenders.

Does it all .....I really like the Industrial feel of this unit (screw in power--solid metal chassis and small--nice feel)....It works great. My tv is 145 feet away thru Cat 6 (Belkin) looks great...really surprised. The HDCP 2.2 is a critical feature and a big deal if you want to use 4k and extend it. I like it so I can distribute my video signals from a single closet. My Rokus, Fire TVs and Dish network all all inputs to my 8 X 8 video matrix (8 inputs and 8 outputs). I use this on the output side so for example I do not need a 8 Dish network units (Hopper3 and Joey) (that would cost $7 each a month X 7 = $49 per month --first unit is included in base cost with dish)--I use two (cost $7 per month) for all of my TVs. I use my phone as my remote using the Dish app--- Functional responses are faster than the IR....not sure why but it is....The Hopper3 was critical to make all this work...

Awesome extender
This is a great HDBaseT extender. I have installed many higher end solutions (Crestron, Extron, Kramer) and this functions the exact sane way, requires no programming to make it work. Boxes feel solid and are small enough to be mounted behind a TV. Passes IR signals from a Samsung, Motorola DVR and Apple TV.

Works well
I have purchased and installed two of these systems, and they work very well. I am using them to send the HDMI signal from computers in a theater control booth to a projector that is too far away for straight HDMI. I also use the remote infrared receiver/transmitter pair to send the projector remote control signal to the projector. There have been occasions when starting up the projector that the HDMI handshake seems to fail (I think that is what occurs), but in those cases I simply cycle the power on the extender pair, once the projector has been turned on, and then everything works fine. I can highly recommend these units and will probably be purchasing more of them for my own needs in the future.

Great buy for the money
EDIT2: I got in contact with customer service minutes after updating my review. I guess they are primarily an Amazon-only business, which is fine. I just wish I knew that before changing my review. So if you need help, contacting them through here is probably best. Bumped back to 5 stars. Still a great buy for the money. :-) EDIT: I'm reducing this review to three stars for customer service reasons. I've tried to contact AV Access a few times via email and their website and can't seem to get a response. The contact page on their site does not work, nor does the listed email address. I also note their website seems to be outdated. I'm wondering if they maintain it at all. *********** This thing is amazing. No config, no hassle. Power is only required at one end. Plug it in and it just works. It also has IR repeater functionality. I didn't understand how important this was until I had everything in place. It really saved my bacon from having to crawl back through the attic. I didn't use the ethernet functionality as I pulled multiple CAT6 cables so I didn't need it. But it does seem handy if you need network connectivity at the same remote location and don't have an extra drop. Like connecting your smart TV to the internet or something.

Great product, great price
The system arrived quickly, was well packaged, sturdy in construction, and intuitive to figure out and install. I've only had it installed for a few days now, but so far it's been great. My connection is about 75' and I'm using it to transmit HDMI, bi-directional IR, and power to the receiver. I'm not using it for Ethernet yet, but I tested that feature and it works fine. I haven't tried the RS232 capability. I like it so much, I just ordered a second system.

Amazing plug and play technology
Works as promised, sending both HDMI and TCP/IP over a single Cat5e cable. Amazing plug and play technology! (NOTE: I haven't tested IR and this is the 100m version. Some other versions of this extender don't do TCP/IP - so if you want that, be sure the verify that the one you're buying has separate Ethernet ports, distinct from the HDBaseT ports).

What a Savings!
Worked great the first time I plugged it in. My cables are Cat6 and the run is about 60 feet. Such an easy installation and saved me a TON of money versus buying one from Wyrestorm!

Great extender, simple to use, great options.
The product is great, I have two of these. They do exactly as I expect, save for one small issue I had with the power plug on the first unit that was quickly fixed with a deft twist of a screwdriver. Two detail I really appreciate: POE injection on BOTH ends, as well as bidirectional IR and serial passthrough. Cheaper brands may give you the option of one way IR, or Serial, but rarely both. and even more rarely, the option of controlling which way the IR passes.

High Quality Product
Works as described and transmits the same quality video and audio as local HDMI. Could improve the quality of the IR emitter.
