Worked great for compressing the clutch piston return springs on my 4l80e

Great tool for a great price!

I bought this tool to work on my 4L60E transmission. It works great to compresses the spring on the low/reverse piston to remove the snap ring in the rear of the case. Also works great to compress the spring and remove the snap ring on the reverse input drum. It won't work for the 3-4 input housing because there is no hole in the drum for the threaded rod to go through, so I have another tool for that. I added a couple of pictures of this tool on the reverse input drum, front and back.

Works as advertised and is a good value compared to other available clutch spring compressors. My only other thought is that it would help to have 3 or 4 hands to install it, but it can be done- and it works.
