Good quality vacuum sealer bags at a good price

Like the price of these vacuum seal bags and they seemed to work just fine in our vacuum food sealer. Only drawback is they did not provide a place on the bag to write the description of the food sealed in the bag, but that is no big deal, we just wrote the description on freezer tape and placed the tape label on the bag. It is almost easier to use freezer tape labels, versus if one tries to write on a bag that has already been vacuum sealed. The quart size are the best size and if one needs smaller size they can be cut in half and use the vacuum sealer to seal one end before filling with food.

Heavy duty, reliable bags for single serving foods and sous vide.

LIke these a lot. I buy rolls of vacuum bag material and make my own custom sized bags for larger or odd shaped foods, but these bags are very convenient for single serving items and for sous vide. I've used bags in the past that impart a plastic flavor to the food if you cook above about 150 degrees but these don't. Thick material, deep grooves to allow your sealer to remove all of the air easily, they seal 100% perfectly. Great convenience item that only cost slightly more than buying rolls in bulk, and not having the hassle of having to seal each bag twice is worth it.

Great. Will buy again. Durable. Cost effective. Used to sous vide warm water lobster tails and bag did not puncture. I also use them to make reusable ice bags. I go through a lot of ice with sports and fishing. When the ice melts it's just a bag of water. When I refreeze it the block of ice has to be broken up again. Used a rubber hammer to break up the ice. I got about seven rounds out of it until the bag punctured. May have gotten more if I had been more careful. Helped save a small fortune on an ice maker.

Quality Bags at a low price

We bought a name brand sealer at the store, but the name brand baggies were just too expensive. I was a little apprehensive buying a third party bag online, but boy was I wrong. These baggies are amazing!! They are a very good quality and we have not had any issues sealing our pre-made meals. BPA free, clear, and sturdy. The price point made them even more appreciated.

Great sealer bags!

I needed some pre-cut bags to seal salmon that I smoke a few times a month as well as other meats I buy in bulk. I went thru all 100 and had NO problems. They sealed great and kept the food sealed perfectly. I highly recommend these if you are looking to save a bit without sacrificing quality.

Works identically to the WAY more expensive branded product

My first order of these bags was in June, 2018. Given the low pricing (by comparison to the branded product), I didn't know what to expect. Now that I've used them on a few hundred sous vide cooks, I'm totally convinced these are just as durable as the expensive bags. I've been using sous vide as a cooking method for over 11 years and because the branded bags were so expensive, I cleaned them thoroughly and reused them. After 10 years, this became habit. I had doubts that these Avid Armor bags would hold up to 2-3 time usage to which I had become accustomed. I am quite pleased to say there is no difference that I can tell. They seal perfectly, the seal holds on cooks as long as 72 hours. I have had only two seal failures in 11 years and both were my own fault. Naturally, the bags get smaller and smaller with each usage, but given I sous vide real meat for my 12 year old cat (3 oz per day) my last use of the smallest bag parts -- usually about 4x5 inches -- is for this. I do a month's worth of cat food at a time and have washed and re-used bags as many as five times. These bags easily hold up as well as the originals!

Great bags!

These bags are great! I don't understand the reviews about them not sealing or being inferior as this isn't my experience at all. But I will say that if you are vacuum sealing apple chips, for example, those can have sharp edges and poke a hole through any bag and then you won't get a seal - you have to crush those sharp edges. Anyway, I dint these bags are terrific and am very pleased with them. I have already used at least 30 of them and none have failed, except when I had apple sharp edges that I had to crush and then re-bag, so keep that in mind.

Great value, perfect for freezing single portions.

I've bought a tons of these bags (and also the quart and gallon size from the same company) and they're awesome. These pint size bags are really sturdy, and are the perfect size to freeze a portion or two. I use them for so many thingss: to freeze cooked beans (I make giant batches of dried beans in the crock pot, then portion and freeze them), to keep partially used onions from smelling up my fridge, and to freeze single portions of home-made soups and stews for diy tv dinners. They also hold up well to defrosting in hot water or the microwave and don't leach any chemical/plastic smells tastes. A huge bargain and great product.

Excellent quality

These are awesome! I have purchased some other bags here from Amazon, which worked OK and were a good value, but they were difficult to clean and re-use. These however are not like that at all. These are super easy to wash and re-use. They are thick, good quality, and hold a seal as good as any bag with a "brand". I would recommend these and will be buying them every time I need more. Super quality!
