I have purchased/installed/used two of these shower heads. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is interested. BACKSTORY: I'm currently renting a new place and I found myself really missing the shower head with a hose from my old home. However, since I'm renting, I didn't want to spend a lot of fixtures. Since this one has a decent price and good reviews, I bought one for my bathroom. Within two days, everyone in the house was fighting over the shower with this in it. I ended up buying a second one within a week. Here is what I noticed: PROS: - It looks nice (nicer than I expected for the price). - It came with clear/easy instructions for installation. - The installation was a breeze. It took maybe 3 minutes and didn't require a single tool. - I was worried I might not have enough water pressure for this to work well, but that was not the case. It works very well regardless of the setting. In fact, on some of the settings it actually seems to amplify the water pressure. - It is very easy to get the shower head in/out of the mount. - It is easy to change the settings. - Although it's not pictured, I was able to put my hanging shower caddy back up and the hose/mount doesn't interfere at all. - After about two weeks of multiple uses daily, it is holding up great. CONS: - I'm really stretching to find a con on this one. The only thing that comes to mind is that when I opened the box and picked it up for the first time, I noticed that it was made of a pretty lightweight plastic. That made me question whether it was going to be a quality product. After using it the first time, that concern was relieved right away. This is every bit as good as the more expensive ones I've purchased in the past. UPDATE: After 4 months of daily use, both of these are still holding up great. We still love them as much as we did the first day.

The rest pale in comparison, best shower in 20 yrs.

I received one of these and it was broken, but a replacement was sent right away! So I got the 2nd one and wow, just wow!! I've been a renter for all of my adult life so I rarely do maintenance or upgrades other than decor but my current shower was having issues, leaks, low water pressure, etc. I did do a few other upgrades but the real upgrade was this shower head. I'll agree with other reviewers that it is made of plastic and may not feel well built but it was the final step to getting back to having a good civilized shower. So I attached the shower head (do not tighten too tightly that is key) and turned the water back on and was hopeful I had fixed the issues. When I saw it wasn't leaking, I was excited because I had been listening to drip, drip, drip from 2 other shower heads prior to this one...yup this is my 3rd one to try. So then I turn it on and holy cow I have water pressure like never before. I can't believe the difference, I am not kidding this is the best shower I've had in 20 yrs because it has great massage options and streaming options. If I ever move, this thing is going with me.

11/14/2018 Update: So it's been over a year since I installed this in my shower. Still going strong with zero leaks and zero problems. If you're in need of a new shower head, I highly recommend this one. Original Review: Purchased on 10/9/2017 and installed some time during the same month (can't remember the exact day, but it was at least a week after the purchase). We purchased this because our shower stall is narrow and the original shower head was angled too far out forward towards the glass wall. Basically, we had to be taking a shower as close to the wall as possible to get a decent amount of water on us. This all changed with this new shower head. Installation was a breeze and I like that it comes with plumbing tape. As the directions stated, I hand tightened only. As for the plumbing tape, I only used it for the connection between the new shower head and existing pipe coming from the wall. Plumbing tape was not used for any of the hose connections (instructions state to not use plumbing tape on hose connections). I did not remove the pressure restriction device since the pressure was acceptable by my standards. Loved this shower head immediately upon my first use. My wife loves it as well. The pressure is great, even with the pressure restrictor. Importantly, the shower head can be angled downward so that we're being showered instead of the wall. No more showering against the wall! I've seen negative reviews stating that the hose leaks after a few months. This has not happened to us yet and I hope it never will. We don't use any settings other than power rain and rarely remove the shower head from its mount. After about two months using the shower head as previously described, we have not experienced any leaks. All in all, this is a great shower head for a great value.

4/10/18: As for an update, they responded to my email the next day and gratefully sent me a new package! The package came in three days which included the handheld shower and hose! The installation was easy (as it was the first time around) and so far no problems whatsoever, such as leaks or cracks! The person who contacted me was very nice and helped me with my problem right away. I HIGHLY recommend this product as it works great and as for the company who was very responsive and 100% delivered on their warranty as written in the description. 4/10/18: I purchased this in early February for my apartment. It was an easy install and seemed to work great. Nice pressure and different settings. However two months later I noticed a big crack at the base of the showerhead! I am not sure where it came from but it was definitely not there when it came out of the package or during installation. Perhaps due to cheap product quality or a defective product even though the title clearly states "Strict US Quality & Performance Standards"?? Also, there were leaks coming from the hose. After two months of use, it seems like I received a poor quality shower head and hose when I expected something of great quality. I have purchases other showerheads before and they never broke down this quickly. I have tried calling their customer service number however lines were always busy. I am going to try their email next and see if I can get a representative to respond. Will update when I hear back!

The Perfect High Quality Shower Doubler!

Added this to our Shower as pictured, because showering with my wife is more fun now that we can both hog the water! The shower head is the perfect complement for the moen builder original showerhead we already had. Having both heads acting in parallel while showering alone feels deluxe as #@&$! The various head settings work better than most of the many similar hotel heads I have experienced, this head also has one setting that exactly matches the flow profile of our other head, which is perfect! Seems like quality hardware in general, the hose is all metal and satisfyingly springy, and it's the perfect length for the aluminum adhesive remote shower sprayer holder I bought on Amazon also. Showering with My wife is much improved when the heads are separated and we can each direct and hog a stream of our own! My only regret is that the heads are generally too high for ideal dual occupant shower geometry, it's a bit splashy and hard to cover your body without hitting your head. I don't want to rip a whole in my wall to take that adhesive second holder off, so I am buying another one instead and mounting it lower to allow multiple placement options. May also get a more metal looking camand hook to manage the hose. The flow can be managed for each head individually by way of two chrome vavlves attached to the doubler fitting. One of the heads settings seems like it tries to turn it off, but it still leaks a bit of water so I am gladbi have a separate valve for it. See my other reviews if you want to identify the exact parts, as they do work well together. Except the hose hangs awkwardly in front of the master shower control valve if not hooked away as pictured, which works well enough if I dont think of something better.

UPGRADE YOUR SHOWER RIGHT NOW

I moved into a new apartment in this fancy-shmancy LEED-certified building at the beginning of 2018, and while I appreciate environmentally-friendly construction, low water pressure in my shower is where I draw the line.* In order to feel fully clean, I need my epidermis to be all but completely blasted off, and the shower head that came with the place was barely giving me a water fountain trickle. Now, when AquaDance says "High Pressure," they are NOT kidding and I could NOT be happier. The difference in my shower experience post-installation was like night and day. I really only use one of the settings ("rain mist?" idk, it's the one with the most...water), so I can't speak much to the other settings, but I have had guests who've fiddled around with them and spoke highly of the other various options. Some of the negative reviews I've read about this product complain about the hose breaking, but I've had it installed for eight months now with zero issues. But hey, maybe it's because of the base-level low water pressure in my particular building, so perhaps this ultra high-powered shower head isn't right for you if you are already blessed with excellent water pressure. Bottom line: If you're taking sad showers under a glorified water fountain spigot, scroll back up and slam that "Add to Cart" button. *I admit that I'm not actually sure whether environmentally-friendly construction practices have anything to do with water pressure at all

Did you ever put off painting the living room for years, then finish and realize how much you would've enjoyed it sooner?

After opening this little treasure to find a beautiful piece of equipment intact and ready to go, I breathed a sigh of relief. I'm furnishing an empty house through mail-order and can tell you a sigh for other reasons is too common. It didn't take 5 minutes to install, including the trick to improve flow everybody mentions. From the old, barely dribbling showerhead to this one's invigorating spray options is something I'm glad I didn't put off. Change settings by thumbing a lever instead of by a slippery turn of your hand on the whole head. And the slinky cord means getting thoroughly rinsed with a flick of the wrist instead of continually repositioning yourself just right. Forget all about low-pressure water, rashes from missed soap lather, or fears of slipping as you accomodate a stationary head.

Great for the money.

Great for the money. I am not Mr. Fixit and typically I avoid anything that requires a wrench. This was very easy to install. I did take out the flow preventer in the handle of the shower head. It was really stuck in there and had to use a sharp pocket knife to dig it out. The only other mistake I made was that the fitting that goes on the pipe from the wall had a small gasket and screen preinstalled... now if you do not put another rubber washer (included) inside that fitting it will not line up straight when tight. It needs to be straight to hold the shower head handle in the proper position. So make sure you put in another washer. Also a washer gets inserted on both ends of the hose assembly. It was very easy to do really. Even with my screw up it only took about 10 minutes.

Nice hand held shower head...recommended

Product arrived boxed and not in an awful blister pack, joy! Appearance, a nice shiny plastic chrome. First job, remove any flow restrictors. Get yourself a pair of needle nose pliers and yank out two pieces at the shower head end. Optional: remove wire filter/screen at the other end. Installation was simple. The product included all necessary washers and a mini roll of Teflon tape. Follow the included instructions for a hassle free and leak free install. In use, simple to use the different modes are easily selected. I have relatively low water pressure but with those restrictors removed I have enjoyed some nice neck and back water massages. Bonus: Now I have a hand held unit rinsing and washing a dog in the bath tub is a whole lot easier too! Recommended.

For $16.99, what's not to love?

For people who don't like reading long reviews I'll keep it short and to the point. This is a fantastic purchase, an actual deal on Amazon by comparison to Big Box retailers. For everyone else who actually wants to know if what they're buying is a piece of junk ... Here's the deal. First of all if you're looking for a solid metal shower head with German ball bearing rotating heads you are looking at the wrong product. This is not going to last you 20 years or probably even 10 years. I've gone through two and use it everyday. I could have bought a Kohler high-end handheld shower head in a similar design for about $1,100. By my fuzzy math I could buy 64 of these and in my case if I had to replace it every three years it would take me 21.5 years 2 equal to cost of the Kohler unit. Let's be honest, most anyone reading this review will probably not be living in the same dwelling for the next 21 years. The cost savings alone makes this a superb value however I have had high end faucets and shower heads that boast lifetime warranties that are really no better. Of course when you hold this shower head it's not as substantial as a solid metal unit would be , but who cares? The truth is if I were building my dream home there is no way I would use this unless it was for a dog washing station. But because I have no intentions of spending thousands of dollars on fixtures that the next owner will probably throw away I'll stick with a high-quality inexpensive unit like this one for now. I urge you to give this a try, as of the time that I'm writing this I am review number 3318, most of them are positive ... we all can't be wrong.
