MO06 replacement battery

In the interest of disclosure and full transparency I did receive an email 2 weeks after my purchase from the seller offering a power bank portable charger in exchange for my honest review. That doesn't however change the fact that as other reviewers have stated the battery meets or exceeds the original battery that came with the laptop. It definitely beats the price of purchasing one from HP. I get about 3 and a half to 4 hours on a full charge. Which is much better than how I was using the laptop where if the the plug came even slightly out the while using it the laptop would just shut off. The listing has detailed pictures so you can visually make sure that you are getting the right battery for your application. So I'd say if you're like me and tired of using your laptop as if it were a desktop forever tethered to a wall purchase with confidence. I see no reason to give the product or seller anything less than 5 stars.

Good replacement for failed HP OEM laptop battery.

The replacement battery for my HP laptop is working fine. The original battery was totally dead and the laptop was no longer portable. It is only a couple weeks, but so far, the replacement is functioning as expected. See the HP battery check diagnostic showing details of the battery (attached). I am very happy with the purchase.

Terrific Battery!

When I received this battery I thought "oh no! this isn't the right battery, it won't fit!" It doesn't look anything like my old battery, it's slim and flat whereas the old battery had a rounded bottom so it didn't look anything like the old one and I was ready to send it back. My sister said at least try it and I am so happy I did! I was a little worried trying to connect it thinking I might damage the battery port but with minimal effort it wen in smoothly and has been operating like a champ. The best thing about it is with the slender, flat profile it now makes it easier to slip in a suitcase or bag to take with me. Other good news is that it came so quickly, I ordered it at 8:40AM on September 19 and on September 20th at 1:47PM I had it in my hands. Thank you Amazon for keeping the best suppliers and an amazing delivery process. Thanks to SLE-TECH for providing the right stuff! You guys rock!

Rock Solid Perfomance along with Maximum Performance!!!

I have a 17 inch dv7 with a Core i7-3630QM CPU @2.4 Ghz – 12 GB RAM and this beast of a laptop sucks up the juice just as fast as it can get a hold of it. This Old but Reliable beast finally developed an issue with the re-charging circuit. Of course I would inspect the battery condition and sure enough that was the issue. I like many others have gone through the rig-a-ma-roll with HP seeking a correct replacement part and it is not pleasant at all. It’s amazing that company doesn’t come apart by the seams. But then Eureka!!! I find a replacement battery on Amazon.com. This Sletech Inc replacement model had all the right specs listed on the web site that matched the specs information on the bottom of my old stock battery. It took all but a minute to verify that this was my solution to my problem. The simple but important pictures listed on the website made all the difference. Something that HP can’t accomplish. So full Kudos to Sletech Inc. When it comes to the performance of this battery, I have to say that this replacement battery is better than the original battery that came stock with this computer. This company and this product are overwhelmingly deserving of a 5 Star Review. Well Done... Now go back to work and figure out how to fit nuclear reactor in to a laptop battery for long batter life (LOL - JK)

The HP battery I was first told to buy did not look like the the original battery on the laptop

I have a 15" laptop that is three and a half years old. I spent quite a bit of time with HP through chat and phone calls trying to get the correct battery to replace the original battery, which would no longer hold a charge for very long. The HP battery I was first told to buy did not look like the the original battery on the laptop. The second person I spoke to spent some time looking for the appropriate battery and told me HP no longer made a battery to replace the one that was on the laptop. This battery works great, holds a charge like the original battery, and was much less than the original HP replacement would have been ($119 + tax) IF I could have even purchased one.

Quality battery.

The longevity of the battery the first time I have used it has been 7 1/2 hours. I found this to be good compared to others that I have seen listed. I also like the fact that it has a 12 month warranty. If it keeps a charge like the first time, it will be well worth the purchase price. It came in a nice box, well padded & with instructions.

dv6-7000 - new battery good for over 2 hrs

I have a dv6-7000 and the battery was giving about 15 minutes of power. Bought this battery and now get a little over 2 hrs on it. I'm happy with this since it was a "good value" compared to what the factory battery would have cost, and those where no longer available. I hope this new battery continues to provide this level of power for a long time, I'll update this review if it does not.

Buying a battery is always a risk

At first I wasn't sure if the existing battery was the reason that the laptop stopped charging because the operating system couldn't recognize any battery. So, without the ability of knowing if the defect was in the charging mechanism or the battery, I decided to order a new battery from this supplier. To my satisfaction, the new battery started charging immediately after it was attached to the laptop. The shipment was fast and the quality of the battery doesn't fall from the original HP.

SLE-TECH Laptop Battery

After years of use, the battery on my HP ENVY dv7 was holding less and less charge, and needed to be replaced. I typically prefer Original equipment as a replacement, however, HP is no longer making these batteries, and I needed to rely on a 3rd party to help me out. I took a chance on this product, and have not been disappointed! It was easy to install, and works perfectly! Best of all, what a great value, even if I should happen to have to buy another one next year! This battery does NOT have the leg on it that extends downward, which elevates the rear of you laptop. It is flat, but still recommend it, and would/will buy it again.....if needed.

It was just right

I ordered this battery after an unsuccessful attempt to buy one at a battery store; it turned out to be too large. This one arrived in good condition, charged and ready to go. Since I don't often use the computer without being plugged in, my experience with longevity is limited, but certainly worked when I did need it.
