I am so glad I purchased this product for my garage. It was so fast and easy to put together. Only took 5 min. It's also very sturdy. I am so impressed in considering buying another one because I've saved so much space in my garage. Update: bought another one and I love it!

10 Stars for the Sterilite Cabinet!

What can I say about this cabinet! We have a lot of stuff and little space in our home. Since we have verrrry tall ceilings, I was shopping for tall cabinets and was surprised to see Sterilite made these! (We love Sterilite btw, and we already have a few Sterilite storage bins and drawer units. It didn't occur to me to even check to see if they made slim cabinets). Initially I wanted a white or putty-colored slim cabinet, but I settled with this gray-colored one and I couldn't be MORE HAPPY! It actually fit better with our décor than a white one would (so I am glad I risked it) PROS - SUPER-durable - Was easy to put-together ~ VERY important feature to me - Lightweight (of course, when it is empty) - Shelves are adjustable (there are 5) ~ another VERY important feature to me! - Doors are easy to open and close (AND there is a hole in them if you want to add a lock to secure them) CONS - Sometimes when you close one door quickly, the another door swings open, but that's it (if you want to count that as a con). In all, I LOVE this item and been thinking I wish I knew it existed earlier because I would have purchased a few more instead of the cloth closets we had. Very happy with this purchase!!! 10 Stars Sterilite!!!!!!!!

Good product overall

I live in a small garden apartment in Jersey so my reason for this item was to help my cabinet and closet space.. This is getting placed outside on my back porch. I finally got it assembled and since i am very impatient I put it outside. Even with the noreastern we had this weekend. I would also be able to determine if it is indeed leakproof. It is. So far. I also have a wood deck above me. The item took me a lot longer to assemble because I got interrupted every 2 minutes but should only take 30 minutes tops. I placed it where I wanted and it fit perfectly. The shelving is adjustable but not the easiest to do. There is a hole in the doors to add a lock. I ordered a 2nd but not thru Amazon because it suddenly became unavailable. Good product overall. Highly recommend .

Perfect for garden supplies

We bought 2 of these for outside use, under an overhang, to store garden supplies and tools. It was very easy to assemble, took about 15 min by myself the first time, and 10 min for the second one. They can be assembled by one person, but it helps to have an extra set of hands. You don't need any tools to assemble it, everything clicks together. Most parts were symmetrical, so you did not need to think about how to position the pieces together. We will buy 2 more for sure. Love these.

Definitely does the trick!

I wasn't expecting much for 77.00. I was pleasantly surprised. The instructions were clear. After the first one, they went together in about 5 minutes. Well designed and they look good. I reinforced the shelves that were going to hold any decent weight just to be on the safe side. Easy to do as there are open channels all the way through. If you're looking to declutter and organize, you can't beat the price.

Big and sturdy

This was bigger than I realized when I ordered it. It snapped together easily and snuggly without tools. The shelves are sturdy. I put a bunch of canning jars full of preserves on the top shelf. It sagged but has held for over a year now with that weight. We keep all our appliances that are rarely used in the lower shelves, and pans only used for whole turkeys and canning pot and supplies. There's enough room to spread everything out so it's all easy to find. The doors snap in securely, and keep out dust very well. Never found an insect in there either. Never had a problem with it in over a year.

Sturdy, Easy, Shelves Sag under 2 boxes of books

My title says it all. They take a little while to ship--everywhere from like 4 days to a couple weeks. I've experience both of those with these units. Assembly is simple in the extreme--if you can't put them together you're probably not safe to put anything on them. Lol. I was a little disappointed when I saw that two boxes of books can make one of the shelves sag in a week--I guess I'm used to tougher structural foam. It says rated to 300 pounds. I thought that meant per shelf. Maybe it's per unit. In any case, if you have as many book boxes as I do, don't expect them to look pristeen after a month.

Versatile and easy to assemble

I got this when it was at a very good price, and it was perfect for the needed use. It's super easy to put together if you take the time to read the instructions as you go along (twice!, as others have recommended, to avoid having to unsnap the pieces). It's the perfect height for reaching the top for additional light storage, and the adjustable shelves make it very versatile. Update: Nearly a year later, and it's still holding up well. Highly recommend.

Great cabinet! I am so happy I got this!

I got this so I can have some storage capacity off my kitchen area. I looked and looked for a cabinet options because I didn't want anything that would look too odd in my kitchen areas at the same I didn't want to deal with heavy weight stuff that I'd have to haul in to my house or complicated installation process. Actually, Walmart had this item for $69 in my areas but I do not own a pick up truck or a van where I could transport it back from the store comfortably. The shipping box is about 36" in height, 16 inches in depth and 20.5 inches in the width. It weighs about 40 pounds. Would it fit in the back seat of my Camry? I don't know but I just didn't want to deal with it so I came back Amazon and ordered it. It took 3 days for it to arrive. No issues there. The beauty of this cabinet is that setting the base, pick put the right parts to snap in as the instruction shows. All pieces and parts went and snapped in to lock in with no problems. If you are just one person trying to put this together, you'll be fine just like I was. I know that many people had bought this cabinet for garage use but I got this to accommodate lack of kitchen cabinet storage place. It definitely works for me perfectly. It took me about ah hour to put this together but that was with 4 curious cats paying way too much attention to what I was doing. This is a good sturdy and solid cabinet you'll be happy with.
