Vinyl Sticker Family Tree!! Love it!!!

I absolutely love this!!! I purchased the Black color. It took almost an hour to put up. There were 4 pages of good quality vinyl stickers. There's even a small diagram that can help with the perfect placement. *side note* The diagram I had was missing #18 and another number in the fifties. I didn't put up the frame stickers yet...I'm actually contemplating doing so, since it looks great without it. Lastly, do not let the adhesive of the sticker touch any type of paper whatsoever it will mess up the integrity of the adhesive!!!

Really Love This

I love how this turned out. I bought two kits so I could have extra pieces for both mishaps and also to make a larger tree. I did not use the sticker frames that came with the kit (although I think those would have been fine.) Instead I used actual black frames and purchased the “Family” sign separately ( here on Amazon.) I also chose to leave off the birds. You can be as creative as you want. Now, for some tips. I did find that some pieces had difficulty sticking even after I prepped the walls very carefully by wiping them down with a solution of rubbing alcohol and water. I let it thoroughly dry overnight. So I did use a glue stick quite a bit as added insurance. A relative of mine actually asked if I had painted this on! I followed the general outline in the beginning but then went off on my own. It’s true that the instructions were very small. Now all I need to do is add pictures!

If you have time and patiences and like creativity then this product would be a nice little project that you and your family or spouse can do together..and if you're a wife and you are trying to get your husband to join you, put it somewhere high like my wife did. We put ours above our fire place. It turned out very nice and the black pops off the lite tan/ beige wall color. I gave this a 5 star cause of the ending results. There is a lot of pieces to this product and some were miss number according to the pic it gives you in the package. For instance there was a branch or two number wrong, no biggie just put the right one it in its place. Now for the leaves well we just kinna put them as they fit according to the pic because the numbers were wrong as well.. but everything else was there and it was not a big deal. As far as putting it on I would say it wasn't too bad.. the little swirls were a little difficult, they were like pealing the images out of a fruit roll up.. lol. But I had the hardest time with the frames but after the 3rd one I just realize like everything else just let the piece fall or lye on it's own or in its place. Definitely use a cloth or rag to rub smoothly over the pieces and press on it firmly. "Don't rub hard". If you have a texture wall like mine, it still sticks and once you press on it firmly it looks as a real tree with the texture. Hopefully it won't peal off..

Looove!

This turned out so good and easier to apply than I was anticipating. My only grief was the squares for the pictures. I struggled getting them completely straight BUT that was my issue, not the product. My husband suggested I use the level from the garage and that did the trick. Now to pick out the perfect picture to place on our tree. This is high quality and looks like it was professionally painted on the wall. It's not shiny when the light hits it like other products I've seen. Thank you for this great family tree!

Love it!

I have five stars because I already was expecting it not to stick properly. I read a lot of reviews and noticed a few others said the same. I washed the wall as well. However I put a little tape to get it to stick and I love it! It may stick and it might not. So just keep that in mind if you are going to purchase it. I bought two so I could add more birds, frames, leaves and bark on the tree. I didnt follow the number/instructions because they are confusing, so I put leaves and branches where I wanted!

Stunning & Easy!

This was so easy to put up! Definitely worth more then $10.00!! I have purchased more expensive decals that look horrible, compaired to this. For mine, I painted my own picture frames, using $1.00 frames from the Dollar Tree, and they look stunning with this decal. The only helpful suggestion I would make, is to have a credit card or something with a flat surface-edge to smooth out any bubbles as you go!

Great product.....finished project turned out so well!

I purchased this decal several weeks ago before my husband painted our living room. At the suggestion of the vendor, I waited over two weeks after painting to apply the decal. I also unrolled the decal sheets and placed bricks on the edges to uncurl them. Putting the decal up was pretty easy, actually fun, and I'm not a DIY person AT ALL! I had no issues with the decals not sticking or when I placed one where I didn't want to, I had no problem taking it off and it re-sticking. My space wasn't quite wide enough to the right so I had to improvise a little, but again it was easy and fun! My finished project turned out SO GOOD! I've had so many compliments. I give this decal a 5-Star rating PLUS! Pretty awesome for $10.

Looks really sharp!

The family tree decal really makes my newly painted hall look professional. I love it! If I can post the picture I will do that. I also like that I can customize it to my own picture frames and I did not need to use the black decal frames. Cheryl

Better than expected

Love this!! Super easy to put up and it is a great way to display photos and fill a wall. The pieces are numbered - although the photo that shows you where to put each piece is small :-). Easy to put up and creates an instant piece of art. Can also move the pieces once they are up really easily.
