The Avantree long range Bluetooth transmitter and receiver is a really great gadget. I used it to connect my home stereo system to a set of Bose Bluetooth headphones. It paired easily with the headphones, sounded great and gave me easily 50-60 feet of range through walls. I also used it to receive Bluetooth from my iPad to play my music from my iPad to my home stereo. Works great, no issues.

I am using this with my TV audio; it is connected to the TV via TOSLINK optical connection. It allows me to mute the TV speakers and listen using earphones. I have paired it with three bluetooth earphones I have, Sony MDR-ZX750BN noise cancelling headset, LG Force, and Plantronics BackBeat GO 3; all of them operated perfectly with the Avantree and synced with the TV video and there is no lip-sync delay when I was viewing programs live and watching Blu Ray and DVD movies. I find listening this way easier on me using the lighter weight earbuds than wearing the heavier larger RF headphones. I have not connected it via the aux jack so I do not have any information on that connection method. I purchased this item with the specific purpose of connecting it to the TOSLINK optical on my TV. Avantree offers a link to aptX Low Latency headphone and earbud receivers Mine were not on the list but they function without delay. When I unpacked the Avantree I plugged it in the the TOSLINK and then to power, I moved the switch to bluetooth the Avantree went into pair mode automatically when first turned on; I pressed pair on my earphones and they pair almost instantly. I switched off my earphones and turned them back on and they paired automatically. When I changed the earphones to a different type I just held down the pair bluetooth for a few seconds and the pair button on the new earphones and they connected immediately. The unit pairs easily and functions great. One final note the range seems to be about fifty feet and three walls before it started to cut out.

I have a great Onkyo receiver which alas was made when bluetooth technology was not commonly built in. I wanted more option of music beside local FM and my CD collection but no connection to my Sirius streaming? The answer is to add a BT adapter to my old receiver and this gadget actually works great! Set up was really easy, almost like plug and play. Just connect the device to the empty channel on the stereo with the RCA cable (supplied, these guys really think of everything!), set the switch to Rx, the stereo was finally connected to my Ipad and the sound actually better than the local FM! Akin to listening to CD. The only drawback is the device transmit or receive BT signal separately but can't do it at the same time, thus I can't connect it to my BT speaker at the same time, but otherwise, it really works well.

Outstanding device. Used it to connect my wife's Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones. She has a major hearing problem. In conjunction with her hearing aids, this enables her to completely enjoy the television. Added feature: due to the superior range of the Avantee she can follow the story or music when she leaves the room. It was very easy to install and pair with her headphones. Had it functioning in less than 15 minutes.

I had a few of Bluetooth transmitter and receiver but I always have something to complain about. So I searched for quite a while for so called perfect solution. Recently I decided giving this device - Avantree Bluetooth Osis TC500 a try. It didn't disappoint me. First thing first it's connection range is impressive. I can walk outside my house to mailbox that is more Than 50 feet away and also I can walk all the way to my second floor office, in both cases the sounds are loud and clear with no indication of decreased signals. It is definitely the easiest Bluetooth device to connect to any headphones or other devices. Well designed interface with visual and voice confirmation that your device is connected. The first time pairing takes a few seconds but subsequent connection is unbelievably easier. Since this device is setup always on, so as soon as I turn on my headphone even it's more than one feet away the voice saying " connected, ready for use". You can read important information from its touch screen. You also can use this touch screen for control volumes and other functions. Multiple connectivities, there are analogue and optical inputs and outputs. There is a switch so you can bypass Bluetooth function and let signal passing through to intended device. Overall it's easy to use, good quality sound with no obvious latency, long range capacity and multiple connectivities. It's most people will want. I may buy another one for my big TV so I can connect TV to my better sound system without complicated wiring. This one is for my TV and my headphone in the kitchen so I can listen to TV news the most time while I can walk around the house and do my things without losing a beat.

Bought this device mainly to connect an Echo Dot to a Stereo Receiver. I had purchased some inexpensive Bluetooth Receivers and Transmitter Receivers but was unhappy with their range and / or their signal quality. Out of the box at first I could not get the Echo and Oasis to connect. An internet search revealed it was a known issue that didn’t come up in the Amazon reviews I read. I contacted Avantree Customer Support. They have been extraordinarily helpful. Customer support first tried to get me a way to update the Oasis via a Mac. This proved more difficult than I or they expected. I was sent a new unit with an interim fix. It was suspectible to interference from a nearby wireless router. I was mollified but not thrilled. Last week I received another Oasis this one clearly labeled “Customized to Echo Dot.” After a week, the unit has been working quite well. It easily connected my Echo Dot via Bluetooth and then from the Oasis to my Stereo Receiver via Optical Cable. Connected to the Oasis using my iPhone, I tested the range and it is clearly the strongest Bluetooth Device I own. It’s the only Bluetooth receiver that connects reliably without signal breakup between my kitchen where the receiver is located and my upstairs bedroom. (This is helpful in instances where you may want to use your phone to stream music but keep your phone with you while doing errands around the house or yard.) It’s realky nice to have found a very good product that comes with outstanding customer support. I already recommended the device to a friend who uses it as a transmitter to connect his Desktop PC playing his music to his Bluetooth Speakers in his backyard.

I am happy to report a tremendous success. I can wander freely throughout the top floor of my house, listening to music on my Bluetooth headphones, without interruption or glitches in playback. At one extreme I am at least 50 feet away from the transmitter, with multiple (4) walls between me and the unit, and am still receiving music loud and clear without glitches. I walked down the stairs, and out to the furthest reaches of the garage, now with at least 6 walls, and flooring in between, and approximately 75 feet from the unit -- only then did the sound start getting a little "glitchy"; but even then the glitches come once and momentarily every 5 to 10 seconds, so I can still enjoy music. Just for fun, I placed the unit near my top-floor home office window, and wandered outside. I made it clear across the lawn and out to the furthest end of the garden without glitches. At least 100ft, possibly more like 120ft! Thank you very much! (NB: For the sake of transparency, the original unit I received was dysfunctional. I had no way of knowing if that was a fluke or the basic design, so my initial review was scathing. However, Avantree reached out to me, offered me a refund or a new unit to try -- I opted for a new unit, because I really want the functionality -- and the results are as seen above. Lesson of the story: the support team for Avantree are dedicated and determined to make their customer experience the best. They have won my heart, as I hope they will win yours.)

I recently purchased "Bose CineMate 15 Home Theater Speaker System". Although it sounds great, but it is a very basic model with very limited connectivity options like coaxial, Analog & Optical. If I have to listen audio songs, only option I am left with is to connect a USB Drive to my TV and play via TV for which my TV has to be ON all the time. I was on the lookout for some bluetooth device which can enhance the connectivity options to use my speakers to play audio via phone. I was googling around for quite some time and really didn't find any device which fits my requirements until I came across the "Avantree Oasis" which ticks all the options I was looking for and even more. This Device is amazing. It has wide connectivity options like Optical IN & OUT, Aux IN & OUT, Bluetooth Receive & Transfer and all the required cables are provided along with the device. This device is now connected between my TV and Speaker system. At flip of button I can switch between Bluetooth/bypass or Speakers/Headphones via Bluetooth/optical. This is one amazing device with wide options. It connected to my phone/headphone in matters of seconds and it has amazing range. It literally works from more than 40-50 feet without any kind of distortion. I haven’t tried longer distance than that. This is one cute looking gadget and I am totally loving it. Great technology. Thank You once again.

I had previously purchase the newest Miccus long range Bluetooth transmitter /receiver with the additional better antenna . Long range was no farther than the usual 30 feet . The interface was adequate , but no audible information , but I repeat the range ( and I spend a long time trying various options ) was about 30 feet -maybe a little more . So I now purchased tha Avantree . The Avantree is so much better , it is hard to believe anyone able to compare the two as i was able to do , would pick the Miccus . THere is probably not one single way the Avantree is not superior . Not one , The range ,probably not 150 feet (maybe a flat open space ) but is a lot more than 30 feet. THe interface is audible and so much more functional ?it pairs much more easily -much . I have Miccus headphones and they are excellent , but if you want a long range transmiiter , buy avantree

Simple operation and pairing! Within minutes we had the Avantree Oasis hooked up to our Denon receiver and were able to play music from our phones from anywhere in the house, with no drop-out. To our delight we were even able to play music from phones through our outside speakers from anywhere in the backyard... no drop-out. Very nice to be able to skip tracks and/or change volume while working or playing out back!
