Great lights, nut it's scary what I can see now
These lights were installed on a 2011 Ford Taurus. Much of my driving in done in darkness and on interstates. The stock headlights didn't seem to illuminate the highway ahead of me as well as I wanted, so I installed these Cougar Motor LED lights. The first thing I noticed is the lights are much brighter and they seemed to show a wider view and more of the shoulders of the road. I leave for work at 0330 hrs (That's 3:00 a.m. in Air Force time) and I drive on an interstate that travels through a mountain range. On the first trip with the new lights I noticed a lot of small round reflections on the shoulders away from the pavement, when I flipped on the brights, I discovered they were deer! A lot of deer! With the stock bulbs, I never saw the deer, unless they were near the roadway. Now I see them all the time. It's scary to know that they were there before and I couldn't see them. Opposing traffic doesn't flash their lights, so I'm fairly sure that my lights aren't blinding them (which is important to me... and probably them too). So far I haven't had any issues and I'm very happy with the performance of these lights. I would highly recommend these lights... unless you don't really want to know what's lurking in the darkness. The folks who ask us for these reviews, also ask that we include photos, so I added one. Yes the car is dirty. It's called "after snow, road grime" and yes it is a Decepticon (Really officer, I had no control of the car. It was like it had a mind of its own! (Which by the way, didn't work)). I hope this information was helpful for you and your decision on which light product to purchase.

Very impressed with these!!!
I have HID bulbs in some of my vehicles but wanted to try something different for once. All I can say is I’m very impressed! I used these to replace the daytime running lights/high beam bulbs on my 2012 Toyota Sienna. They are super bright on the high beam setting and dim down while in the daytime running light mode. There is some slight flickering of the LED while it’s operating in the daytime running light mode but I’m purchasing a set of LED Canbus 9-16v anti-flicker connectors to fix that issue (Not really an issue though). ;-)

Now I See
WOW! SPECTACULAR! TWO THUMBS UP! - When one of the headlights blew on my 2001 Camry, I started searching for the best replacement. I drive 1 hour, one way to work, in the early morning dark, on a 2-lane blacktop, in SW GA. / SE AL. The ability to see down the road @ night is critical to me as I seem to have a unique attraction to deer & other animals that for some reason, are tired of living. A pair of new, high output halogen bulbs from Wally World will cost $48.88. I came across these Cougar Motor LED's on Amazon for ~ $44/pr. I chose these lights solely based off all the positive customer reviews. Soon after I placed my order, I received a short & concise e-mail from the seller advising me that my lights were "On-The-Way" and should I need anything, please let them know. My lights arrived a day early (I went ahead & replaced all front lights (low & high beam). Just like every review said, CRAZY easy installation (straight plug & play) and the twist fit into the headlight sockets were tight & snug (Really Nice). I personally chose to use disposable gloves to avoid getting any oil/grease from my hands on any part of the lights. Now, in the mornings, I can see 7-1/2 miles out in front of my car :-) LOL... Seriously, these lights are Great (so far)...only a couple of days for trial. I will say this if there is to be any negative side.... I used a headlight restoration kit to restore clarity to my lens several months ago. Now my new CM LED's are so bright, they illuminate imperfections in my headlight restoration work. That will be another task for another day. If you are looking for a good automotive headlight LED to change out from Halogen, these are the ones! I am way more than happy, way more than pleased, and truly hope the service life follows suite.

Crisp & Clean White Light - I Can See Much Better at Night
WOW.. what a difference. After fourteen years, I got used to my headlights being cloudy and dingy halogen bulbs - even after Wipe New treatments and sandpaper / polishing. I bought new headlight housings and these LED bulbs. They made a HUGE difference. I'm just mad I didn't make the switch sooner. I can see so much better at night and I feel safer too. The bulbs ignite quickly and give off the type of crisp white light found in newer cars. On my 2004 GMC Envoy, I had to cut holes in the rubber dust caps so the bulb's fans could breathe.. Other than that, installation was a breeze. Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT!!
CougarMotor LED Headlight Bulbs All-in-One....I've bought many different LED headlights "because I get a kick out of them" and I always have a replacement because as in most of life, "things happen" on occation, I call them "The unforseen" With that said I have to say they are exactly what they say they are and more, I love the way the de-coder is already done for you. Love how complete and EASY they fit into my project. Love the white light, it's just better for me when meeding to look farther down the road in deer and elk country. I'm so happy to be able to not have to invent that part of these LED headlights. Thank You, my gosh.......thank you!

Will Fit OBS GM Trucks (90-99 Silverado/Tahoe/Suburban)
Installed these (9005) in the High Beams of my 99 Yukon last night with a 4HI harness(this leaves the low beams on when the high beams are turned on) The instant on is a nice change from waiting for my HIDs to warm up. Turns night in to day and super easy to install. Wish I have bought them last year and might replace the HIDs in my lows with the 9006 version. NOTE: the space behind the headlight housings is tight, but these will fit in the HI beams on the OBS (90-99, Silverado/Tahoe/Suburban) just take your time and route the wiring harnesses to either the side or below the housing and you'll be fine.

Great performance so far!
I rarely post product reviews, but I thought these deserved a great rating. I bought a new 2017 Nissan Titan SV with halogen headlights, so I decided to upgrade to LEDs (H11 & 9005 -- if you're a Titan owner, the truck has two different bulbs for low and high beam. I recommend replacing both if you decide to upgrade). And WOW, these bulbs look awesome! They were also super easy to install -- plug and play with no errors so far. I definitely recommend CougarMotor LEDs if you're looking to upgrade from the dull halogen bulbs. I've attached a pic of one side with LEDs and the other with halogen.

Very Bright, Very easy to install
So far, so good! Installation in 2001 volvo v70 was pretty much plug and play. The 9005 high beams installed in seconds and I was able to fit the driver inside the housing and secure the rear cover with room to spare. The 9005's played very well with the CAN bus and threw no codes. The H7 low beams also installed easily (following the enclosed instructions to first remove the lock ring from the bulb, clip it in the housing, then twist the bulb back through the lock ring) The H7's did however throw a bulb failure message which was easy to correct with an in line resistor. Since I had to use a resistor which needed to be mounted outside the housing for heat dissipation I simply cut a small notch in the bottom of the housing to feed the wires through and was able to put the rear cover back on. As far as headlight output there is simply no comparison between these leds and the best aftermarket halogens I have used. Color temp is bright white with no annoying blue tint, the horizontal cut off line is crisp (no blinding on coming traffic) and I can see EVERYTHING! I will update as necessary but based on the first 2 weeks I would tell anyone to definitely give these a try.

WOW Perfect.
USED ON 2016 HONDA CR-V. THIS IS MY 4TH SET OF COUGARS. THEY ARE THE BEST. BRIGHT; I CAN SEE AT NIGHT. SPEND THE $50 BUCKS FOR THESE AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY. YOU SHOULD REPLACE LOW BEAM BULBS FIRST. YOU MAY NOT EVEN NEED THE HIGH BEAMS. WE LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA. THE ROADS ARE TERRIBLE AT NIGHT. THE PAINT THAT THEY USE ON THE ROADWAYS CAN'T BE SEEN, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS WET. DRIVE TO MARYLAND, OHIO, OR NY AND AS IF BY MAGIC, THEY HAVE ROADS THAT HAVE REAL REFLECTIVE PAINT THAT YOU CAN SEE THE ROADS. NOPE, NOT PENNSYLVANIA. OUR UNIONIZED PENN-DOT MAKES SURE WE GET "THE BEST" PAINTS. WHAT A SHAM. GET THESE BULBS, UNPLUG OLD BULBS, POP THESE IN, AND GO. I USE SMALL PLASTIC ZIP TIES TO MOUNT THE TINY TRANSFORMER (LIKE A PACK OF CHEWING GUM) TO WHAT EVER IS HANDY. JUST ZIP IT TO HOLD IT FROM MOVING AROUND.

Great upgrade without modifications.
Installed these an a Lexus rx330. My customer was having issues with the stock headlights being too dim. They consulted another company that wanted to sell a hid retrofit kit. I was consulted and, knowing that hid retrofits rarely work well with stock housings, recommended these. Long story short, customer was giddy after the first night with these lights. There are a few issues though: 1. The mounting tabs are very weak. If not careful, they will break. 2. Heat sinks are very long. Will not fit inside many housings. 3. No way to lock the led portion in place. It can rotate slightly.
