Expensive - but justifiably so

Noticed a weird rubber-like ring on the bottom of the pool. Fished it out and realized it had come off the pool cleaner. Then also realized the cleaner had not been climbing up the walls as well as it used to. Changed these and now it runs much better. BTW, these rings are NOT ONLY FOR CLIMBING - they are actually like new tires for the robot and it moves much faster now even along the bottom because it is finally getting traction again. Only down side is they are expensive, but I see how durable and flexible they must be, so I guess the material is expensive.

As good as expected

Just as good as an original part should be. I do recommend that anyone that want to bay and keep in stock be sure the plastic bag is 100% sealed as they should keep some moist to retain the softness required for installation.

Perfect OEM replacement

Perfect OEM replacement. Took 30 minutes and one screwdriver to replace. Really improved the wall climbing ability of my Dolphin.

Needed for the 18 month rebuild

Replace these every 18 months if the unit is left in the pool 24/7.

Outstanding Replacement

The climbing rings arrived in a Ziploc bag. At the direction of other reviewers, I soaked them overnight. Replacing them on the Dolphin DX3 was very straightforward. The old rings were really beat up and there was even one missing. Not anymore. The DX3 is a beast now! It climbs up the walls no problem and no longer gets stuck on the pool drain. The DX3 is back to its normal, excellent performance thanks to these rings!

My dolphin climbs walls again!

Never knew to change these rings on my dolphin, til I was in pool store, mentioned it didn’t climb all the way up wall anymore, and she told me to change them. She handed me a pack, but I said I’d come back. When home, I compared price on Amazon, these were much cheaper. And as soon as I replaced, my dolphin was climbing up the whole wall again.

My dolphin M4 has been an awesome investment to say the least. Ive had it for 5 plus years. had a few things happen, mostly wear items. The last time I noticed that it wouldnt climb all the way up the wall anymore. Ok, figured it out. The climbing rings. bought them, replaced easily and back to good as new. the product is good. worked very well. Fast and safe shipping. Highly recommended. Great price.
