I received the Yoctosun Professional Jewelers Lighted Magnifying Visor Glasses. Its a pretty cool design. The lenses interchange very easy and swivel. They are stored in a nice case. The LED light also moves for the correct position that you need. Feels comfortable on the head.

I bought this magnifier after looking at various other devices and reading disappointment in the focal length. Looking at this device it seemed to be thought out from looking at the graphics and description. Thankfully I was right. The device comes with a case to hold the magnifier lenses and a cleaning cloth. It also has a elastic strap that can replace the traditional legs of the glasses. The LED light is bright AND adjustable to point more forward or downward. The lenses snap into the holder at one point in the swing and are more locked at other points. The lens holder can be adjusted closer or further from the face for better focal length. Lenses can also be tipped up if not needed at the moment. Lenses are small making the field of view small as well, but that is to be expected since it is intended for detail work such as electronics, watch repair Between the 1x to 3.5x lenses it is also helpful for sewing or fine needlework, particularly with the led light. Personally I use them when repairing my computer to see small lightly printed codes, etc on components. Spouse has snagged them twice to do hand sewing with the excuse that they are easier and more convenient than the $40+ magnifier bought from a big box craft store. Also the box helps to protect the lenses from scratches, the headband and ability to tip the lenses up helps to prevent wanting to take them on and off since it's just easier to tip them up out of the way when not needed immediately. (batteries included for the led to boot!) Very happy with my purchase. Just noticed this is marked as a "toy" don't know the reason for it beyond it is not for professional (medical) use. More for a home hobbyist.

I'm an esthetician who needed to see closer and better when doing extractions. I may look silly with them on but I'm so happy that I purchased! Just what I needed

This is awesome! I can work on my jewelry design again! So far so good with the product. I wear glasses so I use the adjustable straps instead of the over the ear bracket. The lens comes in different strength and has it's own protective cartridge and soft cleaning rag. The led lights is BRIGHT! This product is a problem solver. My husband used it too in order to read it's manual...lol Going to order another one for him as well.

These glasses are far better than the ones I ordered from a pro lash company. My order came on time and the glasses are so nice! I use these for applying lash extensions and I would highly recommend them to other lash artists!

I spent a lot of time reviewing similar products as I have purchased similar products over the last 15 or so years, past experience was varied with other products - some were terrible, others were less than adequate - problems with battery life, low output lamps (older type incandescent bulbs), problems with poor adjustability, weight, build quality, LENS choices and/or lens quality - I even experimented with separate lights and magnifying glasses to try and find the right combination. These are as close to perfect as it comes - first for the price my expectations were not high - but the build quality is great (even though my first pair broke - although I think if I would have READ the adjustment/Lens changing instructions more carefully I may have avoided this mishap. Either way, they replaced the broken product IMMEDIATELY, before I even filed a request because this company proactively reaches out after purchase to check up on customer satisfaction and to answer any questions - WOW - the product is extremely comfortable, lightweight yet rugged enough to stay adjusted without moving around, others made my head and face sweat - these do not , LENS are fantastic, they are optically clear, do not distort, can be infinitely adjusted (focal length and angle) & the combination of magnification thickness is good for most jobs, the built in light is very bright, doesn't get hot & is also adjustable, good combination of flood and spot so it provides the right amount of WHITE light where you need it, so far the battery life has been excellent. The combination of using either the headband (great if you are using for extended period or if you need to work lying on your back or side (they do not fall off or move), band is adjustable or you can easily switch to standard over the ear eyeglass type for quick jobs or when you need to take glasses on/off while working. Storage case for LENS is top notch as is included polishing cloth, even the shipping box can be used to store the glasses to keep them safe and clean between jobs as it has a molded interior to prevent glasses from banging around and box is not too large and is heavy duty for long life. Instructions are very detailed with pictures and actually well written (in proper / correct English so it is CLEAR). Again, follow directions on how to adjust focal length (requires a good quality small head Phillips screwdriver to make this adjustment for best clarity - I noticed that this does not have to be moved often once it is set correctly for the most common lenses - for me I need to adjust this only when I use the STRONGEST magnifying Lens - the 1-4 Lens can use the same adjustment (this may be different for you - depends on your eyesight), either way, its a simple quick adjustment, but this piece performs several functions and is very well made but you need to be careful because it is an important 3 way adjustable piece (LENS Holder) Nosepiece is adjustable & more comfortable than my prescription glasses, all the parts that come in contact with your skin have a comfortable non-slip rubber like padding (no slick plastic that would slide around if you sweat, touching your skin). These little comfort and functional features you usually don't find in a product in this price range - it is ergonomically designed/engineered - a lot of thought went into form/function, comfort - still can't believe how light they are and how well they work and how easy they are to adjust it seems they thought of everything. I paid 4 x or more for other glasses that don't come close to these, even separate headlights that I bought don't come close to proving the right amount of light exactly where I need it. You cannot combine lens - only one at a time, you can where your glasses under these (plenty of room for my head and glasses anyway, Lens can be lifted out of the way without removing headset if need be - but because of focal length, adjustability and light weight, you can forget you have them on, and with the lens sticking out from your forehead several inches, I have turned my head while I had it stuck behind an equipment rack and either knocked something off the shelf or clipped the Lens on side of rack and pulled them out of the holder, fell to hard floor and bounced around, LENS did not break (they are strong and not soft plastic like the ones made 10 or so years ago) they are a hard (H5 degrees) and do not easily scratch under normal working conditions. Can use soapy warm water to remove greasy, grimy finger prints - comes with HQ eyeglass cleaning cloth. Changing Ear clips to band is a pretty stiff HD clip, takes a little finger/thumb strength to push button down to release lock (good thing). I like using the band just to keep them in place when I am behind equipment close to wall and they are so comfortable, I sometimes forget they are even there (almost took my wife's eye out with the LENS edge when I kissed her goodbye when she left for work!!) Have not found (so far) anything negative - I am really impressed with these I don't write too many reviews but I think these are great especially since I work on electronics that require a lot of close detail work and my eyes are getting worse on close up work (I can read a street sign 1/2 block away!!!) - these allow me to see close up so I can work again without have a 1/2 pound of lights and 3 different pairs of glasses on my head!! LOL Not to Mention - the GREAT VALUE - the empty box, and storage container with the 5 LENS is worth the purchase price never mind the fantastic fully adjustable, brightly lit magnifying Glasses - seriously these are a no brainer for what they do - I hope they last as long as I think they will. I would buy them again even if I only got a year of weekly use out of them. Because of the adjustments and lightweight - they certainly are not indestructible - not recommended for heavy duty work where they would be exposed to heavy tools or extreme temps, dirt, chemicals, grease, etc.. these are perfect for electronics, jewelry, watch repair, controlled environment, they are IMHO part of a fine work toolkit, not designed for a heavy duty machine shop environment set of glasses, wouldn't last a day. Keep original box to store them in - they should last a while if properly cared for - and no EXPENSIVE BUTTON BATTERIES to worry about - uses 3 x AAA, common long lasting batteries.

Very nice, comfortable, works well!

In my search for a lighted magnifying glass on a swing arm, for small electronics repair work I stumbled upon this item and I am very glad that I did. The head mount magnifier allows me to take the magnification wherever I go rather than having to bring whatever it is I am working on to a stand or desk mounted magnifier. Again, compared to a mounted (swing-arm) magnifying glass, the headset allows me to easily and quickly adapt my viewing position such that it does not interfere with the job at hand. Desk mounted or stand magnifiers can require constant adjusting and/or compromising either your field of view or focus as you change hand positions, angles or the component you are working on. The headset allows me to focus in on exactly what I want, where I want and exactly when I want allowing me to continue focus in on the job at hand. Finally, the different snap-in lenses allow me to select the magnification that is appropriate for the job. With desk-mounted/stand magnifiers, you are stuck with one magnification. The fact that the headset also includes dual LED lights is great bonus. Once again with the light pointed exactly where you need it, you don't have to worry about constant adjustment of an external light and/or desk-mounted/stand magnifiers. Don't get me wrong... desk-mounted/stand based lighted magnifiers definitely have their rightful place. If I had an appropriate space for a desk-mounted/stand based magnifier, I would likely have one of those as well. I have read reviews that cite comfort issues with the headset. Personally I have had sunglasses that have caused me far greater discomfort. One thing that you have to keep in mind is that you have a device that carries with it a weight (even more with batteries) which must have sufficient grip on the bridge of your nose and around your head in order for it to stay put. Eventually anything sitting around your head and on your nose for a period of time is going to cause some amount of discomfort. I used this twice now and one time I had it on for well over an hour and didn't notice any discomfort. However I was looking at a 30 degree downward angle for most of the time. If you are one who cannot tolerate any type of pressure on the bridge of your nose or across your ear then you may be better off with a desk-mounted/stand magnifier. I just finished using this to repair a Sonicare electric toothbrush. The issue was that I was not able to turn it on or off and it turned out to be a tactile switch. I used the magnifier in remove the 5 mm (VERY SMALL!) tactile switch from the circuit board. I then used the 2.5x to see close enough to actually disassemble the tactile switch into its component parts, to clean the switch parts using small pick/scraper for electronics, re-assemble the tactile switch and solder the switch back to the circuit board. There is NO WAY I would have been able to complete this work without this headset. It saved me around $80 on the purchase of a new Sonicare toothbrush so it has already paid for itself. I do highly recommend removing the batteries from the headset if you don't plan on using it regularly. The included batteries appear to be very generic and may not have quite the quality/longevity as name-brand batteries. This should actually be done for anything that runs on batteries as almost all batteries start to leak at some point and wind up destroy the innards of the device (I learned the hard way more than once!). So all in all and considering the price, this product exceeded my expectations. I will be using this again and again for all my magnification needs.

I love these magnifiers! I'd resisted trying something like this for my miniature painting for years, because I was worried it would mess with my depth perception. But after suffering from neck pain recently, and having these recommended to me, I decided to give them a go. Now I don't know if I could ever go back- it's so much easier to see detail, the light is really handy for seeing what I'm doing, and I like that I can look around the lenses to get more paint out of the bottle or look at reference materials. These are an awesome deal, as well- they fit nicely, are comfortable to wear for long stretches, and come with a bunch of different lenses of varying strength. I'd recommend starting off slowly, with the 1.5X lens and then going up from there. I tried going straight to the 2x lens to start and it made me feel a bit seasick. All in all, I love these and would highly recommend them to other painters. One of my best purchases in recent memory!

This is a really well designed magnifier. You can either use the ear rests to wear it like regular glasses, or they pop right off and you can use the included headband instead. You can also wear regular glasses under them without problems. Everything's adjustable from the angle of the lenses to the lens distance to the LED light angle. The adjustable lens distance is especially nice so you can either magnify most of your field of view, or move them further away so you can also see normally around it. The lenses themselves are plastic but good quality (hardened) and you get five different ones in a little case. Those are also easy to pop in and out. It's just well designed overall.
