Works great for my SD cards

I'm a photographer and I work primarily with SD cards. For whatever reason my old card readers have all given up the ghost and so I bought this COASD SD Card Reader (mostly because it was cheap!) and it's great. Just your basic simple card reader and it works fine. I have it attached to a 6' USB 2.0 cable going into my Mac Mini.

I bought this, since my last reader didn't work, and the reader built in with my HP computer also didn't even show anything. Important to me, since my DSL camera did show everything fine, so this reader made downloading easy. I really don't care about speed or versatility, but it did allow me to download all the images, so glad it was so inexpensive too.

Very Good Product, Easy and Potable!

This is a very nice SD card reader/adapter. It has slots for SD and Micro SD cards and also can connect directly to smart phones through the mini-USB connection. It is very simple and easy to understand. It is the size of a typical flash drive so it is nice and portable. We use this device to transfer pictures between the camera cards, smart phones, and computer. It is capable of transferring very nice and easily between the various devices. My rating scale: 5 stars - great product, highly recommended 4 stars - good product, recommend but one or two things I thought could be improved 3 stars - average product, a few issues that I thought could be changed 2 stars - below average product, I was not happy with my purchase due to major issues with the product 1 star - poor product with major flaws, I cannot recommend

Performs well, Delivered when promised

My old reader had stopped reading sd cards. Did not know these things would wear out. At any rate, this device successfully read my new 64 gig sd card. It came when promised. So far I am very pleased. If for any reason this device fails to perform in the future I reserve the right to amend this review. As for now I recommend this device from this seller.

Great product

It’s a great product. I've been able to use it exactly how I wanted to. I put an SD card in it either micro SD or regular sized SD then plug it into my phones and I can see all of the pictures on it and download or copy what I need to directly on my phone. Because it’s USB 2.0, so the speed it’s a little bit slower than 3.0. but for the price, worth it. It also could be because I have over 32gb worth of pictures. I have a Samsung Note 5 so this is nice due to the fact that the note 5 has no SD slot.

It works!

I don't know why I'm so shocked. I guess I was expecting some sort of confusing installation process. Here's how it went: I opened the plastic, I stuck a micro SD card in the slot, I stuck it in my phone (Samsung note 4 - Android), the menu popped up automatically (folder view), I clicked on a folder, then clicked on a video and it played. Took like 15 seconds. I got this to be able to watch videos on the fly, on my phone. Airplanes, etc, ...as well as access other folders more easily when I'm travelling. I just opened this 2 minutes ago, so I guess I"ll update if anything goes wrong, but I'm happy about how easy it's been so far.

This works so many different ways!

This is a versatile and useful. It works on so many items, it become instantly invaluable. It has a regular USB, a micro USB, an SD card adapter port as well as the micro SD card used in so many phones... well worth getting one if you do not have one already. Please note, it is only an adpter, it does not include a card. You need to purchase a memory card separately.

Handy adapter for MicroSD, SDhx, SDhc and any SD cards

So I was testing this product and this is the most convenient adapter that I have ever tried while editing videos for YouTube. Just so convenient and handy. I can place it with My Passport external hard drive whenever I want to travel. I bring on my travels abroad. I have a food blog that I am maintaining for other food lifestyles. Mostly I review organic, B corp, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan restaurants, bakeries and food shops in the market either abroad and locally. But testing this adapter was handy, convenient for both MicroSD, and regular SDHc, SD cards.

Love the idea of having both types of USB

I love the idea of having both types of USB connections to one reader, it works great with my Samsung Galaxy S4. It makes it so nice while I'm out in the field photographing with my DSLR and need to upload a photo. With this device now makes it so easy. Only con I could find would be, if you are using a protective case on your phone. Most likely you will have to remove it, in order to plug it in to use it. It would be cool if they could make the connector a little longer, but I'm still happy with it.

Very handy!

I use a dash-cam in my company work truck, and this is perfect for pulling the chip out and plugging it into the company comp0uter or even the police laptops to show what happened. Covered my butt numerous times. And because of that ability, I didn't have to give up my storage chip, they simply downloaded the video.
