Good Value For Lighter Storage Items
This Keter Westwood Deck Storage Container is a nice looking bench with ample inner space w its 150 gal capacity. This bench easily fits 3 adults sitting on top, and it feels sturdy enough to do so. All the pieces of the storage container are plastic, except for two metal rails that run along the lengths of the top of the bench box (not the cover), and the two metal pneumatic hinges that open the cover off the box (and the included screws and latches of course). The assembly is a literal "snap" of the pieces connecting to each other, and once together, you add some screws for stability. This took my husband 25 min. to put together, and 1/2 of that time was just going through the picture instructions. We have had Keter's 70 gal Patio Bench for over 2 years now Keter Eden 70 Gallon All Weather Outdoor Patio Storage Garden Bench Deck Box, Brown/Brown (you can see it in the background in my pic) and it's held up well overall, with no significant fading (altho it has never been in the direct sunlight). This 150 gal storage container is longer, wider and taller than our Patio Bench, and the top is more sturdy. Additionally, this 150 gal is much more well machined than our original 70 gal, which gave us a lot of problems snapping together. By contrast, this 150's connecting parts fit well together, and the screw holes lined up where they needed to be. The minor criticism I'd have for the Keters is that they are not extremely sturdy like the Rubbermaids- the screws are very short (see pic), and more importantly, the bottom panels are so thin, that any reasonable amount of weight in your storage causes it to bend downwards and hit the cement/ ground underneath. This bench is great for light pool equipment or patio furniture cushions, but not necessarily for anything w significant weight. On the plus side, and what makes these Keters still quite worthwhile, is the lower price, decent appearance, and that they seem waterproof from rain. Our patio bench has not had any water incursions despite the floor hitting the cement underneath, through two winters, and one winter with significant rain. As for appearance, there is no question that these are plastic- no mistaking them for wood, but the color is a deep dark brown, and seems to blend in within a neutral backdrop. For simple storage at a lower price point, these are a good value.

Perfect box
We just had our pool and deck redone and wanted a box to hold several chaise cushions, a propane tank, and pool maintenance equipment. And we wanted it to look good. This box meets all these needs. It can be used as a bench if that matters to you. My husband put this together in 20 minutes by himself. I came home thinking we’d do it together and it was done. The hydraulic hinges are a real plus. You or a child can open and you don’t have to worry about it slamming shut. Before you buy a deck box, measure the cushions you want to store. We thought we could get by with a much smaller box, but with chaise cushions, we need every inch of this box to hold them without deforming them.

Great deck box if you have alot to store. Very happy with customer service.
This thing is MASSIVE, which is exactly what we wanted. I had spoken to a friend about this, thinking it might be too big, and they said I'd fill it no matter what size it was. They were correct. We are able to put two of my kids small bikes, plus a plastic bin with all of their small toys intot his with room to spare for cushions if needed. It is a little high to make a comfortable seat, but can easily accomodate three adults across if extra seating is needed. I also had an issue where one of the pieces broke during installation. I called Keter and they answered quickly and replaced the part with no issues. I think they have had issues with the part (the bottom panel) because as soon as I mentioned the Westwood, the guy knew the part number off the top of his head. Great customer service.

easy to assemble but very tall for a bench if you are 5'3"-my feet don't touch the floor. Lots of storage.

Sturdy, looks nice, and plenty of space
Finally, a plastic deck box that looks nice! Easily fits 8 large-stuffed cushions (4 deep seat cushions, and 4 standard seatbacks). It's heavy enough to withstand the notable wind coming off the open fields beyond our yard. And tall enough that when closed, we could cover it with a tablecloth, and use it as surface for serving drinks or food. The hydraulic lid is also nice - easily stays open while loading/unloading. Glad we bought it!

Easy to set up, sturdy enough to sit on, yet light weight enough to move when necessary.
It is a great place to store kid's outdoor toys, garden needs. The locking possibility makes the Keter box safe to keep toxic materials where children and pets can't get into them. I bought two for my yard. They were easy enough for an 80 year old woman(me) to assemble, and sturdy enough for a not-so-slim woman to sit on safely (again me. LOL). I only needed another pair of hands to steady it when I set the hinges for the box's top. I liked it so well, I bought two more to gift my sons for their yards. They were very, very surprised and pleased.

If you are looking for a large pool deck box, stop looking and get this one!
This deck box is enormous, well made, and great looking. We bought this to house our pool cover and I am couldn't be happier with it. It's bigger than I thought, was super easy to put together, and is made of high quality materials/components. The hinges are even "fancy" soft opening hinges. If you are looking for a large pool deck box, stop looking and get this one!

Well built, solid, and looks fantastic!
I read the reviews that were given about this product, and i gotta they you, very simple to put together, very simple instructions, and even though its a snap together box with scews for reinforcement, it is built very well. It also has a ton of space in it, so much, it fits all my throw pillows for chairs and all my covers for all my patio furniture with alot of space left over. The top has a shock assist lift on both sides which makes it very siple to open and close. I have sat on the top with others on it and its absolutely, solid! The bottom is well made as well, but if you have any critters with teeth that wants in, it will not stop them. My storage/bench box will be used inside my gazebo, so i'm not sure how well it will keep your items inside dry, mine is well covered (roof). So i'm not too concerned. I do highly reccend this item, probobly my best investment for my gazebo. Thanks for reading!

Love this Storage Container
This box is perfect for storing my outdoor cushions for my outdoor sofa and two chairs with plenty of room for side pillows, etc. I did not put anything in it until after a heavy wind blowing rain so I could make sure it was waterproof. It was perfectly dry so in went the cushions. It was super easy to put together. It is also tall enough to use as a holding table for barbecue.

Great value. For the price
Great value. For the price. Assembly takes only a few minutes. Looks pretty good from a few feet away Large enough to hold a set of cushions for a fire pit set on my deck with room to spare . Here is the most important thing It keeps my cushions dry !!!! After heavy rain I checked the inside for water and to my surprise they were dry . The only water that got in was the standing water on the top that managed to splash in upon opening. I purchased 2 of them by mistake but realized that more is better. As for strength, I would sit or stand on top of them as well as trying to move the with heavy items inside. Remember these boxes come in pieces and screw and clip together. Make sure that you place them were is no standing water , remember bottom panel clips in. Place on a couple of pressure treated 2x4's If desired location might get standing water if only for a brief time. Also heavy winds will blow the cover open , and the lift struts will keep it open . It comes with a locking tab so I recommend using a latching widget of some sort.
