I can honestly say this is An excellent helmet in terms of fit and finish
I've been riding for over 20 years now. I've have many brands of helmets, mostly full face from HJC, Bell, and others. I can honestly say this is An excellent helmet in terms of fit and finish. Having two shields is a bonus! Have not tried the included neck warmer thingy yet but the days are starting to get colder. Wind noise is minimal. Air flow is good and cheek pads feel firm. Clear shield is easily lifted up and it's first detent is small enough to in fog shield but not let too much air in. I like the white ond do much I bought a second in in yellow. Is way nicer than the $99 Joe Rocket helmet I bought last year.

Get this helmet. Seriously.
You have no idea how stoked I am to finally have found a brand alternative to Speed and Strength. S&S, by a longshot, manufactures the most durable, comfortable, high-quality, well-designed helmets on the market. Problem is, they've gotten more expensive and harder to find (especially in my size). I've pretty much given up on them as my go-to brand. I tried a 1Storm helmet a few months back. I wasn't impressed. Design was awesome, shape of the helmet made me feel like an extraterrestrial riding around my motorcycle. When my last S&S helmet fell apart last Friday, I took a change on this brand and I'm super glad I did. I got the matte black helmet and installed the tinted visor and I have to say, it was so sick I couldn't believe it was only $60. I was so stoked I was doing some ninja moves in my helmet and my dog was looking at me like I had lost my mind. What I like about this helmet: # It's got a quick release strap # It's soft on the inside # It's breathable material; I didn't feel or notice much sweat in my helmet which is impressive for the Arizona heat # It's beautifully designed, I didn't see any imperfections in the helmet design or finish # The tinted visor is REALLY tinted, like black-tinted not that stupid smoke color everyone tries to sell you. You have no idea the difference it makes while driving around in Arizona. Seriously. First, you can not escape the sun. And about half the day, it's only agenda is to try and kill you by blinding you with its death rays. As soon as you drop that tinted visor down, you forget the sun is even there - that's how harmless it feels. You would think that with as dark as the visor is, it would be hard to see. I know it's so strange to say but the clarity of that visor is superb. It's not dark at all from the inside, at least not like you would expect when you see the visor on the outside. It's like looking at everything through some super, super clean sunglasses. # It's just all around a very decent and reasonably priced helmet. What I don't like about the helmet: # Who came up with the zipper idea?! I want to know because it can't be someone that rides a motorcycle. I do not want a zipper around the base of my neck! If I want to cover my neck, I'll just cover it with a jacket or something else. That's not my helmet's job or problem. Just stick to the stuff you got right and get rid of the zipper and I think you'll have people coming back for years. I'm just glad it's discreet but I still have to look at it every time I put my helmet on. Bottom line is: If you only ride occasionally or once in a blue moon, stick to the more expensive helmets - it's better to be safe than sorry until the newer brands are put to the test. You're not very likely to run through them that fast because you don't ride as much. But if you ride every day like me, a simple drop of the helmet from hip-height walking down the hallway at work could impact or ruin its ability to protect you in the future if the material inside expands. Gets expensive so it becomes a bit more practical to choose a reasonably priced helmet because you end up having to buy 1-3 each year if you don't treat them right. Get this helmet. Seriously. You'd be crazy not to sport this around town. Next paycheck, I'll be getting another color. Can't wait.

This helmet is so sleek !
I purchased the black matte helmet-size Small for my 6.5 year old son (head size apx 19-20”) to ride his Go-Kart. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I originally ordered the Medium size for him and although it wasn’t huge or flopping around inside of the helmet , the Medium size just seemed a little big for him so I ordered him the size Small. I love this helmet so much I kept the Medium size for myself! The helmet is so sleek. It just has such a nice look about it. From the matte black color, to the look and feel of this it’s all around such a nice helmet. It has a removable zippered neck guard which is a nice touch. You won’t get any support from the removable neck guard though, it seems to me that it’s more for warmth in the colder months. The top of the helmet even has 2 small vents on each side at the top of the helmet that open and close for ventilation. Nice little touch for the people who are habitually hot and sweat like my little guy. You also get a storage bag for it and an additional sun shade visor that you can switch between the clear or shaded visor if you like. There’s also a vent near the mouth area that opens and closes as well. The clasp inside of the helmet is very easy to open and close. I truly can’t find one thing negative to say about it. Seriously you can’t go wrong with this helmet. The look and feel of it definitely seems a lot more than what it is. If your looking for a helmet that’s not only safe but also sharp then get this helmet before it sells out! You will love it!!

Great helmet for a great price.
I ordered my ILM Full Face Helmet on March 1, and received it on March 21, and am very pleased with the overall quality and features of this budget-priced helmet. I especially like the quick-disconnect chin strap and the visor which stays closed when riding at Interstate highway speeds. (My old helmet's visor would not stay closed at speeds over 40 mph.) The vents are also a nice touch, and they can be opened and closed. The esthetics and comfort of this helmet are a surprising bonus, as well.

Absolutely a great value with very minor gripe
Unfortunately, I had to send it back, but not for the fault of the product. My daughter was slightly larger than the size I purchased so I had to return it. But, I examined it and for the money, I can't see you getting a better helmet. You might take my review with a grain of salt since I sent it back, but I'm a turbo consumer, meaning I buy a lot of stuff and I know when something is a good bargain or not. If I properly sized her head, I would have got the right fit the first time and I had no more time to reorder, so ended up with a local product. I will say one thing though, and it's a small gripe. There is no chin guard which helps with noise. That being said, it has a fantastic wrap-around zipped on neck protector. That should do the trick and help in colder climates. The ONLY issue with it is you can't mount a Sena communicator on the helmet and still use the zipped on neck warmer part. Still, it's a great helmet for the $$

Nice helmet
The neck cover makes a big difference. Just tried it out and rode with and without. Much more comfortable with it in cooler weather. It is harder to get on that way though. The lenses are easy to change. I never had a helmet that didn't have wind noise at speed which is normal with no windshield. Pretty good helmet for the money, and quick detach strap no D rings chin strap.

An excellent helmet with high-end features and quality.
Below I will give a fairly detailed review of this helmet, but I will provide the short recommendation first. Short Review: Great helmet, you should get it. At minimum it is a great passenger helmet. Long Review: This helmet has some great features that you would pay a lot more to get with other helmets, or would usually have to add for yourself. My favorite feature is the quick release buckle. It is a 5-click adjustable buckle that slides into the lock and releases with a gentle tug on the high-quality, thick webbing tab connected to the release side of the mechanism. This helmet also features 2 high quality visors - one clear and one tinted. These visors are easily interchanged as needed. The inside padding is your typical foam padding covered with a nice felt liner. It is very comfortable and the side pads can be removed for easy washing. There are chin vents and top-of-the-head vents for excellent flow-through ventilation. The neck guard that comes with the helmet is made of leather with a felt backing and a light amount of padding sewn inside. This makes the guard very comfortable and warm for riding. I was initially skeptical about what the quality of this neck guard would be, but I was pleasantly surprised. The neck guard has a full zipper attachment for secure to the helmet, yet easily removable for those like me who live in the south and do not really need it all year long. Overall: A very good helmet with a lot of nice user features normally found on more expensive helmets - all for a great price. A well made product by ILM.

It also has an easy lock strap and minimizes the wind noice amazingly
I was a bit skeptical ordering this helmet because of the price and unknown brand, but let me tell you! I've purchased known brands from the dealership for way more money and a lot less protection, comfort and features. Helmet is true to size , has removable/washable pads, chin and head vents. It also has an easy lock strap and minimizes the wind noice amazingly. Great helmet for the price and it also comes with a dark and clear visor.

Good helmet, great price!
Very good helmet for the price. I have a huge head and I got the extra large. Fits great. Having the swap out with the regular in the shade visor is very nice. The swap out is very simple. Definitely would recommend to a friend. I mean come on guys, it’s a $60 helmet with two visors, looks cool, and feels comfy.

Great Beginner Helmet
This is a great bang for buck helmet that I would recommend other beginners to get as their first helmet. I measured my head to be 22in. The sizing chart says that a small is 21.5in - 22in, but I went with a medium and the helmet fits perfectly. I would say that the helmet is an intermediate oval fit. Pros: - clear and smoked shields included, both don't distort vision - neck liner if you ride in the cold - lightweight and comfortable - washable liner - chin vent vents to the face shield and the chin - DOT approved Cons - I prefer a double D-ring over a quick release, but that's personal preferences - the helmet is fairly loud so I wouldn't recommend for freeway riding - there is no chin curtain, but I guess that's what the liner is for Haven't tested the safety of the helmet, but besides DOT approved there is another review where this helmet did save someones life. I would definitely recommend if $60 is your price range.
