I bought this after reading an article about car key fob hacking. Nice product, speedy delivery. What I learned afterwards is (at least in my limited understanding) the car fobs where you press a button on the fob to open door (the kind I have) don't transmit a continuous signal - only those where you just walk up to the car and it magically unlocks itself transmit a continuous signal that could be amplified and picked up by hackers. That is the kind the Faraday bag is designed to protect.

Works as advertised. This product has two separate pockets, the interior pocket is lined on both sides by RFID blocking fabric, if you put your phone in this inner pocket, it blocks the signal completely and you won't get any phone calls and your phone won't be able to be tracked. If you put your phone in the outer pocket, you'll be protected on one side from wireless radiation, however the other side is not protected so you'll be able to receive phone calls. When carrying my phone I put it in the outer pocket with the protected side against my body. This keeps my body from receiving any radiation and still allows for incoming phone calls. Very useful, versatile product. Can be used to protect car keys as well.

So far, so good. I wanted a bag to put my truck's key fob in, since I have the new push button start type which means I can't leave the fob in the truck if I didn't want to have to worry about keys, like when boating or rafting. With the proximity sense fob, though, it can't be locked in as the system senses it inside and will not lock. So just put the key in this signal-blocking bag, and presto! now it can't be sensed. I use the door keypad code to get inside the truck in these cases. Works great.

This is close to a copy of another review I'd done as this is a fairly simple device; it works or not. And it does. I've tested it with multiple keys in it next to the car, (and in the car), and the signals don't seem to get out. I use this to store my keys when not in the car. That is, I don't even close the top, but my keys are typically put in a home office right next to garage. I'd read that over longer periods of time the communication between key and car when in proximity could be battery draining, so I got this as a place to leave them when the keys were just sitting in the basket.

What a wonderful little bag! I was searching long and hard for a Faraday cage for my car key fobs. I have been reading and hearing on the news about these amplifiers that people use to steal your car. There is a branded one that is $30 and only fits one key fob? No sorry I cannot justify that kind of spend on something like this especially when I need it to fit two key fobs. I decided to take a chance on this one since it was advertised for key fobs and the few reviews there were said it worked. Sure enough it did! I could not open my car door (I have keyless entry). Make sure you put the key fobs in the metallic lining part of the pouch. If you put it on the outside pouch (there's two areas when you open it up) your car door will recognize the signal and open your door. So far so good but I will report back later if somehow it fails in a few months time. In the meantime, live with peace of mind that you can use this as an option and not spend $60 to store both keys!

Works great! Ordered a second one for my spare key. Ordered this for my new car after I saw a video of two guys using a device to read the signal of a key inside the house and steal your car. Figured it was cheap enough to at least try, and boy does it work. I tried to open my car door with the key in the silver part of this sleeve and nothing happened, even though the key was right next to the handle. I took the key out, opened the door and sat in the driver’s seat with they key in this sleeve, and the car would not start. I was happy with my purchase. The sleeve is is a bit bigger than a sunglasses case, so my ring of keys fits just fine

Really impressed with the performance, especially for the price... not that I have anything to compare it to. With the WiFi and Mobile Data settings shut down on my phone, I was unable to receive any calls or texts. When I pulled it out of the lined area in the bag, it was searching for a network. Then, I turned on the Mobile Data and Mobile Hotspot and the phone was still unable to receive any messages and my laptop was unable to detect the Hotspot once I put the phone back in the bag... and the phone is right next to my computer. Going to see what other goodies this company has. Highly recommend, and a great gift idea for anyone you know smart enough to use it.

REALLY cool...when I put my phone in here...no messages no dings. Off the grid! We are far to traceable these days....Thinking of giving up cell phone..this is a good first step. UNTRACEABLE and whatever else it does ... I choose when I connect. The idea that we are traceable even when phone is off just seems wrong! This BLOCKING BAG seals the phone and is even an attractive color....it does come in black too.

I got this for my cell phone a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It fits nicely in there. I tried calling the phone. No ring! I connected my phone to a bluetooth speaker and started playing music, then placed my phone inside the bag. Disconnected! I tried texting and email my phone while it was in the bag. They didn't go through! I am not a technical expert, but the bag does seem to cut off connectivity with the phone, which is why I purchased the bag. Can't beat the price!
