A great looking rear bumper for my husband's Chevy Silverado truck. We were very happy with our purchase.

Great replacement bumper

2006 Silverado 1500 HD. If you have a hitch installed on your truck it will have to be removed prior to taking the old bumper off. All the brackets lined up perfectly without modification and all new hardware (brackets, nuts, bolts) was included. The disassembly and installation took about an hour and a half with the right tools. Be aware of pinch points throughout the project. Overall I was very satisfied with the purchase.

Everything was excellent and easy to install. good quality bumper, all parts needed were provided. There was one pair of bolts which were not included in my kit that would have been nice to replace my existing ones, however the Bolts on my truck were acceptable to be reused. this was the 13/16 bolts which went straight up into the frame mounted bracket into the prewelded nut. not the bolts which go in from the sides, but the one which goes straight up from below, furthest towards the truck, not towards the bumper. All the same it worked out, so like I say, good qualtiy bumper, easy to install, I would buy again

Perfect. I couldn't believe how good this bumper is.

This was one of the do-it-yourself jobs that was truly a pleasure due to the clearly thought out packaging and included parts. I was missing a nut but that wasn't enough to deduct a star. I simply reused an old one. The brackets are there, the wiring is there, even the little plastic inserts for the license plate are there. You only have to reuse the wiring hangers on the new bumper. I would definitely but this exact same product again. It's definitely not as heavy as the OEM and the plastic just doesn't fit quite as good but this is a must buy if you need a bumper for your Silverado (2006 in my case.)

This bumper was an exact fit for my 2003 GMC Sierra Denali Quadrasteer. I was worried that it might not fit this odd-ball truck. The kit included all of the required hardware as well as the plastic skins. As others experienced, the hardware box broke in transit and the nuts and bolts were rattling around inside the outer box. I did reuse most of the nuts and bolts because they came off quite cleanly. I did need the provided bolts for where the bumper attached to the factory installed trailer hitch because the size/thread did not match the 21mm bolts that came off the truck. I also reused the wiring harness for the license plate lights because the original contained 2 more plugs that were not part of the replacement harness. All in all this went well and my son and I were able to pull off the project, laying in the snow, in single digit temperatures. As for lessons learned, we had to completely remove the brackets on one side to get the old bumper off because it wouldn't clear the truck bed, and if you are reinstalling the access port for the spare tire hoist with a new bracket and retainer ring ($37 fro my GM dealer - Ouch!), install the retainer while the new bumper is sitting on the floor. It is a wicked pissah when the bumper is on the truck. The locking access tube can be installed later. I did use a little WD40 to get the tube to slide into the retainer ring.

Excellent quality and shipping

I was pleased with the quality when I opened the shipping box. Rather than installing it myself, I needed some brake work so I hired my mechanic to install it. I received the truck today and asked how it went. The mechanic said the old bolts were hard to remove but installation went well. I joshed him and said the new bumper just would not do -- it makes the rest of the truck look shoddy...

The bumper looks awesome. I haven't had it installed yet but it looks identical to the original bumper on my 2000 Silverado 1500 LTE. Lots of hadware comes with it. Can't wait to see it installed. Half the price quoted elsewhere!! Update: I had a body shop remove my old bent trashed bumper and install this one. They only charged me $80, well worth it. The bumper looks great! Just like new from the factory.

Great Bumper Great Price Fit Perfectly

Was surprised to find a bumper for my truck on here. Unbelievable!! This bumper fit perfectly. I mean, perfectly. Looks fantastic. My mechanic thought I ordered it from the dealer it fit so well. All brackets, bolts, and lights included. Old bumper came off in about an hour. It took a lot longer because I have an aftermarket hitch installed that got in the way. I decided to cut the bracket with my sawzall since this kit included a new one. I was then able to install the bracket to the frame and bolt the bumper to the bracket. Total install time around 2 hours from taking it off to finishing it up. All lights work. Price is good.
