Comparing these with CBE advanced digital opk.

I did a side-by-side comparison using these and the clear blue advanced Digital ovulation kit. My results were… For LH levels this brand is spot on with even the most expensive. The clear blue easy advanced digital OPK definitely has its advantages. It test for two different hormones, LH and estrogen. As such, Clearblue easy advanced digital is an excellent OPK for giving you a bigger fertile window. As estrogen rises before LH and thus it gives you a couple days advance notice of your LH rise and following ovulation. This increases your odds of getting pregnant because it is the days preceding ovulation that will most likely lead to pregnancy. However, Clearblue easy advanced digital brand is extremely expensive and you are limited to 10 testers per one-month supply. Because of this, generally you can only test once per 24 hours. For some this might be adequate, but if you have a short LH window, testing every 12 hours is best. That is where this brand comes in handy, the very low cost allows you to test often. I have use this for 3+ months and have found the results very accurate. Plus, with the digital you cannot really follow the trend of your LH, because of how the strips work. This brand however is excellent for watching the trend of your LH increasing, as the color will become darker as your LH increases. I highly recommend either using these strips alone ( if you are on a budget) or supplementing these with the clear blue easy advanced digital Opk (if you have a bigger budget). I tested every 24 hrs in morning with the expensive Clearblue easy advanced digital and tested with this brand of OPK strips every 12 hours. Because I was using these strips, I caught my LH surge 12 hours earlier. Which allowed for me to squeeze in an extra BD session. My method definitely worked and after four months of trying, we got our BFP! I do not think I would've had my success with the clear blue easy alone. And in hindsight, because you can watch the LH trending on the strips, I probably would've done just fine with these alone. But like I said if you have some extra money, the clear blue easy advance digital is helpful. BTW, I paid for these myself and was not reimbursed for this review. PREGNANT AFTER FIRST USE!!!

When I tried to get pregnant with my first child, I used the ultra expensive Clear Blue "smiley" face tests for six months (lots of wasted money). I would get a smiley face, try to make a baby, and I NEVER got pregnant. I was convinced I couldn't conceive, decided to adopt and got pregnant a month later without those rip off tests. So now, we wanted baby #2, and I realized I know nothing about my ovulation. I've heard from plenty of woman about their immaculate ovulation where they say "I can feel my egg drop..." (Eye roll from me). Not so much in my case. Everyone started informing me about cervical mucus (CM). SO I attempted a month of trying without tests. I swore that I ovulated about 6 different times. Didn't get pregnant. I bought these tests and was really frustrated when I didn't get a positive line after 18 days (I have a spot on 28 day cycle). The app I was using expected my ovulation between CD 12-18 so I was testing AM and PM. The app wouldn't even consider that my ovulation would occur past CD 18. But lo and behold...I got my first darker line the night of CD 20 (App still wouldn't believe me). CD 21 morning I got a very obvious positive (both lines were the same darkness). Did the deed that night and now I'm 6 weeks pregnant!!! I read many reviews about women having later than normal ovulation. If it hadn't been for these tests, I would have believed my app and assumed I already ovulated. Thank goodness I kept using the tests. THESE WORK!!!

It really works!!!

My hubby and I have been trying for 4 months and I decided to try these and tada....they worked!!! I got this small pack once my period was over started tracking my ovulation everyday and than once I was no longer ovulating we just waited until my period was going to start. Here we are one day late on my period and I AM PREGNANT!!!! I say get this it won't hurt to try.

Good buy, but...

My amazing husband and I are going to be expanding our family very soon. I wanted to track my ovulation to give ourselves better luck at becoming pregnant sooner. According to the instructions, I should start testing at Day 18. I have long cycles that range anywhere from 34-35 days. I decided to start testing earlier and received my positive LH surge at day 16. Had I tested at Day 18, I would have missed my window. The tests are very easy to use and when you get your positive, you will definitely know. I will continue to use these strips, however, I will start testing sooner so I do not miss my ovulation time. I am happy with my purchase and will continue using these until we become pregnant. I will provide an updated review once we are pregnant. ****Update: We are PREGNANT! Worked the first month!

Huge help!

Worked great! Kept all the old ones on a sheet like previous posters recommended and easily identified the surge on cycle day 13. We got pregnant our second cycle using them. :)

Excellent!

The price and quantity are very reasonable, but most importantly, they work! When it's positive YOU KNOW, because the test line will be darker than the control line. I recommend to keep testing until you get your darker line. If you don't see a darker line than the control line during your cycle, I suggest doing BBT (temps) to make sure you're ovulating. If you're second guessing whether it's positive, it probably isn't. Just be patient and keep testing and do not use first morning urine. Good luck ladies!

Worked on the first cycle; BOOM!

When my cycle finally returned when my eldest son was 18 months old, it was way out of whack! Two months in, I started Vitex to bring the length of days back to normal, and then used these strips to figure out when I was actually ovulating. I had been completely wrong and believing I was producing a week behind when I really was! First and only cycle using these strips, not only did I immediately catch my fertile days, I successfully ended up with my second son 9 months later. For any woman looking to track her bodies regimen, I ALWAYS encourage the use of these steps to avoid the agonizing guesing game!

Pregnant in first month of using these!!

We had tried for 4 months, using other tests, without any luck. We switched to these and got pregnant right away!!!

They definitely work!!

We'd been trying to get pregnant for 7 years. Tried these the last cycle before going the IVF route and it worked! I took a couple of tests each day for several days and eventually got the positive. Then got pregnant! We are 20 weeks along now!

Very effective in helping understand your cycle and tracking ovulation

Super impressed with this little kit. Yes, you do have to follow the instructions to a "T", but if you do it does work. I really did not find it difficult. Sure there are easier kits available, but for the price this is definitely worth it. I would also recommend taking pictures so you can track and compare the progress from day to day. I was having trouble conceiving so decided to give this a try. This kit showed me that I was ovulating much later than normal/average, and by helping me figure out my cycle I was able to get pregnant the first time using these.
