• Our almonds are very unique: they have superior health and taste. They are grown in soils our forefathers knew – biodiverse and productive. Our diversity and vitality are proven and certified. Distinct and Superior to Organic.
  • Sustainably grown without any toxic/sterilizing Class 1 pesticides or herbicides such as Roundup/glyphosate. Steam pasteurized (no chemicals or fumigants used). Non-GMO. Contain naturally occurring prebiotics and probiotics.
  • Estate grown – direct from the farm. Fresh almonds are SOFT, not crunchy. Our almonds are SOFT which reflect our superior and unique proprietary farming practices. As nuts age, they lose moisture and become hard.
  • Raw California Almonds. Unsalted. Certified Kosher. Gluten Free.
  • Consuming just 20 grams of nuts per day (about 20 almonds) may reduce the risk of death and chronic disease, according to a recent massive meta-analysis of 20 studies and 820,000 participants by the Imperial College London School of Public Health published in the journal of BMC Medicine. *In 2013, an estimated 4.4 million deaths may be attributable to a nut intake below 20 grams per day in North and South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Western Pacific. *

These are very tasty, high-quality almonds. I have not yet found any worms or worm holes in them as I have found in other brands such as Blue Diamond (I soak my almonds and split them open as I eat them). It also makes me feel better to purchase from a company that expresses concern for the environment and who pasteurizes their almonds with steam instead of PPO.

These are EXACTLY what I was looking for and way less expensive than Sprouts or Whole Foods - if/when they carry them. For anyone getting into raw or nutrient dense foods, this is it! We use them in several different ways. We make our own raw nut and dried fruit trail mix for snacking. We soak and let the nuts germinate slightly for sprouted almond milk (rich, creamy, and easily digested). And we also grind them to make almond meal/flour for baking. Makes an amazing flourless banana bread that’s to die for - flourless and zero sugar; the sweetness from the bananas, and the fact that these almonds aren’t bitter, makes adding sugar unnecessary. As others have stated, if you’re looking for salted, roasted, and not-so-healthy almonds, these aren’t them. These aren’t in the “popcorn/potato chip” category. These are for solid (delicious!) whole food, plant-based, or dairy free nutrition. So if you’re trying raw, unprocessed almonds for the first time, know it will be a different experience. Think of it as the difference between eating a backed potato and eating potato chips. Both can taste good - but both have a different place at the table. Enjoy!

***UPDATE**** After reviewing my review the Wild Soil Almonds Company wrote me and said that they were sending me a free bag because they thought I didnt have a good experience. I was confused by this because if you read my original review below, you will see I gave them 4 stars. Most companies would be happy with that, but Wild Soil Almonds isnt most companies. They actually care about their customers and want them to enjoy their product, which they are very proud of (as they should be). I have never been so surprised (pleasantly so) and impressed by a company That is true customer service and for that reason alone they have a customer in me for life. I pledge to try and make almonds one of my favorite nuts, I will accomplish this by eating them often and staying away from any other nuts. Okay....lol that may be going overboard. I still stand by my last statement, they really are good dipped in chocolate. Thank you Wild Soil Almonds! These are expensive but good. I personally dont find them worth the price but, my boyfriend LOVES them soooo.... I will most likely buy them again. After reading the novel about the company and all of the glowing reviews I was expecting...well much more then I got. I think I built it up too much in my head and it probably doesnt help that almonds are not my favorite nut to begin with. They are good, just not great (for me anyway) My boyfriend disagrees and says he can taste a difference and he raves about the texture. So I think he should have written this review (I bet the company does too...lol) 4 stars in my opinion is very good and like I said, I will buy more for him. P.S. if you dip them in chocolate they are soooo much better, of course that may just be me.

They taste so good and more raw then all the other US raw almonds I have tried. I tried imported organic raw almonds bc they're not pasteurized but can't get pass the natural cyanide( bitter almonds). These are the best so far I've tried.

These really are great almonds. The texture is unique and the flavor is absolutely delicious--begins quite subtly and then increases as you chew. They're extremely addictive, and while a little softer than the crunchy almonds most are used to, there's something particularly good about these almonds. In two weeks, I've ordered two 3-lb bags. I think I've also added 5 lbs to my weight, but my goodness, it's worth it. I'd highly recommend. I've purchased some purportedly high-end almonds--organic, etc. -- but the Wild Soil Almonds are in a class of their own.

Okay, So this is a follow up on a review I posted a few weeks ago where I rated Wild Soil Almonds two stars. When the product arrived I felt the almonds were overly soft (soggy is how I think I put it). I did say that it was not about the taste but more about the texture. I also noted that the products was shipped via USPS during very hot weather and not sure if it had an extended time in a hot and humid environment. The team at Wild Soil Almonds read my review and quickly responded to my concerns with a detailed letter regarding their product. They also followed up with a second shipment of almonds free of charge (shipped priority mail). So next came the blind test using my wife and daughter as testers. They both enjoy almonds and dried fruit so I can assure you we had two qualified people. Results confirmed, there was a difference. No matter how many times they sampled the almonds, they could always pick out the 1st versus the 2nd shipments. Wild Soil Almonds customer service is truly a class act. We will be placing an order again. By the way, you might want to talk with USPS and asked them to handle your product with care.

Their flavor stood out to me, sort of like grass-fed beef to regular beef, not wildly different, but a noticable, more full flavor. These nuts also have a softer texture than what I remember from something like Blue Diamond. If a more comprehensive claim could be made about the nutrient density and the pre and probiotic content of these almonds compared to other almonds, that would be interesting and worth knowing, but regardless of that, they are great tasting almonds at a good price, so it's hard to complain. BUT, I think better packaging could only help. There is no light protection and probably not ideal air protection with such cheap, thin plastic. I would get these into an air-tight container as soon as they arrive. And obviously they use SOME chemicals, but they avoid the most toxic ones, which is something; especially when you consider that organic almonds can have worse potential contamination without ever citing their use of chenicals at all. Calling out the shortcomings of the Organic certification and its growing loopholes is comendable, in my opinion. I would hate to see the organic lable allow more loopholes that the public is not privy too, sort of like chicken and chicken eggs and how absurd the loopholes for terms like 'cage-free' or 'free-range' are, or how meaningless 'vegetarian-fed' is. For all I can tell, they will eventually find a loophole for abusing the more trustworthy 'pastured' eggs and 'organic' if people don't look into it and call out the deception wherever it lies.

These are the best almonds i have ever eaten by leaps and bounds. I choose them due to there pasteurization method, they are grown in the US (Ca) and the unique history of the company. I will continue to buy them for the taste and these initial reasons. I made almond butter with just a food processor that was creamy and delicious. The nuts themselves have a flavor that i can not even describe other than to say, perfection. We are a kosher and almost vegan household and for the money, quality, and taste, i would highly recommend these unique healthy almonds. UPDATE: I have made almond butter from them a few times now. The first time took longer, about 25 minutes. Now i am down to about 14 minutes by adding just a sprinkle of olive oil. There is no crunchy shells in it like i used to get from the grinder at the health store. Also, i did some research on what they said about organics. This is better than organic! I read that some approved organic pesticides and herbicides are 10 times more toxic than manmade ones that are not allowed in organic foods. What Wild Soil Almonds say about their soil and pasteurizing methods is credible.

Very smooth taste, doesn't have that strong weird smell that some almonds have when you make fresh milk. I will buy these again!

These clean, quality almonds work well for me. I soak them in a mason jar for 24-36 hours, rinsing and changing the water 3-4 times throughout. Sometimes I eat them skin-on, sometimes I pinch them out of their skins.
