Great tool for 1.8l Chevy Cruze

Changed the timing belt on a 2012 cruze with a 1.8l engine it works great and helps hold everything in place. Seems to be a quality tool and it fits well.

Great Value GM 1.8 Timing Belt

I tried doing timing belt without this tool. Did not work. Ordered tool and Set the cams with the lock. The tool worked great takes the Guess work out of the alignment. If doing a Timing belt on a Sonic, Cruise or other GM 1.8 timing belt this is a must have kit. Locks made of metal not Plastic. Don't waste money on KN-6340. this kit also comes with tensioner lock pins. Also comes with cam rotation lock bar.

Worked on 2016 Sonic 1.8

Worked just like it should. Fit right in cam gears and locked them together making the job a breeze and way cheaper then the truck prices. It worked for me on a 2016 Sonic 1.8

Did the timing belt on my 2011 chevy cruze with the 1.8 litre motor. This tool was so very useful to me!! Even having to buy extra tools, I still spent so much less than taking the car to the shop!

Perfect, Wish I would have known this existed sooner!

Very useful! For $30 it definitely beats the $500 in tools that replaces the chevy version. I wish I would have found this tool before I messed with the timing belt and bent some valves. Now I know that there are tools for it, but I am just taking it as a lesson learned. This tool even fits and works for a 2014 chevy sonic, but this tool only helps if you use it before pulling the belt. I will be using it to time the vehicle after I find and replace the valves.
