Great pump, works like a champ!

I was looking for a way to get a large amount of gasoline out of the gas tank on my boat for a restoration project. Tried the pump on a drill, the self start siphon pumps, etc. All failed because the tank is buried in the floor of the boat, so it had to be pumped uphill and the only access was a smallish hole in the top of the tank. This pump worked great! I put it in the tank with the long (and narrow) tube, pumped out 27 gallons in a short period of time and moved the gas to my truck. The trigger control in the handle made it very easy to switch from one can to the next as I filled them up without spilling gas all over my precious boat. I highly recommend this product. Also great for getting gas from a gas can into a car or truck without spilling it all over the side of your vehicle. I will be carrying it on my boat with a 5 gallon can of gas just in case i go stupid and run out of gas on the lake or river. :)

Perfect for fueling my log splitter...

My log splitter is a heavy 2 position splitter with a log table covering and protecting the engine from falling wood pieces. This also makes the gas tank difficult to fill unless the splitter is in the vertical position. Putting it in the vertical position requires 2 people to lift it safely and is quite difficult. The TeraPump TREP01 makes filling easy without putting the unit in the vertical position. The shutoff at the spout makes it simple to fill the tank without overfilling and spilling gasoline. It is an excellent product.

Pumps great

I was a little skeptical at first, last weekend I transferred about 60 gallons of heating oil.. tool about 15 min. Than because of a bad shoulder I used it to fill my ATV & Riding Lawn mower from 5 gallon cans !! still using the same D' cell batteries !! I only gave it 4 stars, as the hose handle seems kind of flimsy ! Cant wait to fuel up my boat at the dock using this ! Last summer I was paying $7.65 a gallon to have the Marina fill my boat, Because five gallon cans was to hard for me to due !! It does pump faster than they say ! depending on the height your pumping too !!

GREAT PRODUCT

Works as advertised. I am 72 and cant lift five gallon containers easily because of shoulder problems. i keep about 35 gallons of gas on hand for Generator and lawn equipment. Just remember that to drain what ever fluid from unit you must mash leaver as you lift pump from container to allow device to drain back to prevent spillage

Bought one for my Dad, ended up getting one for myself.

It works as expected. my dad can't lift those 5 gal gas cans anymore, so I bought one of these to make it easier for him to fill up the his zero turn. Worked great and he loved it. I liked it so much it gave me a great idea on bailing out my fishing kayaks (they tend to take on water at times when launching and in the rain). pop a hatch and in a few seconds its dry. I bought this model as I prefer having the flow control on the handle instead of just the on off switch on the pump. very pleased with it so far.

about the relialibility and ussage

I have ordered and received almost everyone of the different pumps like this one and they all are inferior in one way or the other This one has a long flexible hose nozzle, with a hand valve, the hose is black which is not a vulnerable to ultraviolet sensitive to breakage like the others it has no round ring on the end to hang up in a car filler, the batteries are not in a tube that comes lose and falls all over the place. This is the real deal a little more money but well worth it

This is a great product. The flow rate is excellent, it will empty a 5 gallon can of diesel fuel in about 70 seconds. I wish it was available years ago, It would have made my life much easier. I highly recommend this pump for anyone that needs to transfer fuel or any liquid. It comes with an AC adapter and 12V car battery clips but a cigarette lighter plug would be nice to have too.

Well worth the price!

Time, back, environment saver. my buddy and i have been hauling gas to our boats in gas caddy. this thing emptied the 15 gallon in about 10 mins. no spills, no repositioning the caddy and my back don't hurt. we brought several 5 gl and they empty in abot 3 min each. this is a must if your transferring fuel from cans to your boat. makes it a breeze. so impressed bought another. wish the nozzle had a hold button. turn the pump upside down to make all the fuel drain out when can is empty otherwise you could have a small spill.

Perfect for the generator!

I've had this pump now for over a year. I can tell you that this is so perfect for my husband and I, who are octogenarians, to use to fill the generator! We have 12-six gallon gas that we use during hurricane season here in the south east tip of Florida to fill the generator. I always use Stabil in the gas cans so that we only have to fill them once a year if we don't get a hurricane. We pump the gas out of the gas cans into our cars and then get new gas. How wonderful this tool is. We couldn't do without asking or paying for help. Thank you whomever made this. Oh, by-the-way - use really good batteries and have extra if you are emptying out all of your gas cans. Thank you!

Great Product

Received my pump in good condition and timely manner. Having shoulder issues I find it difficult to lift a gas can when attempting to fill mowers etc. Gas was always spilled all over my equipment. This pump makes filling my equipment a breeze. I was able to fill all of my outdoor power equipment without lifting the gas cans, without spilling one drop or straining my shoulders. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who hates the hassle of dealing with gas cans and spouts.
