Purchased the magnetic tape to use in creating wooden ABC magnets for my child. So far, appears to be holding well. The wooden letters I used are 2.75" tall x 1.75"-2.5" wide x 0.25" thick. I did cover much, if not all, the back of the letters, just because I expect these to be heavily used by a toddler (see attached pictures). I also followed the instructions provided by seller (let the magnet straighten, clean any areas tape side will adhere to with alchohol, and let cure for 12 hours before use), which I think is critical to making sure the tape performs well. Will see how well these hold up to use overtime. I do wish these came in sheets, so that I could had traced my letters and have the magnetic backing match exactly for a nicer look. I have more letter sets to do so am trying another product that comes in 8.5 inches by 11 inches sheets to see if I could achieve a better look. However, because this tape did work so nicely and was easy to cut with regular scissors, I just ordered another roll in the event the magnetic sheets do not work well.

I needed a magnet I could cut up and one that would be strong enough to keep little canvases sticking to a fridge. This worked perfectly! I love that one side of the tape is a good adhesive (makes things so much easier). I really appreciate that the company was pro-active in sending emails on the best way to use their product and seemed to really care that I had a good experience. I certainly did and I will be buying this again when I run out.

Many uses for this magnetic tape. You can cut in different sizes for different needs. I needed a way to label file cabinet drawers at work that actually listed what was in each drawer and on different sizes and types of cabinets. I also needed to be able to easily change the labeling. I type up the contents. Print it out on card stock paper. Cut it down to size. Cut a piece of magnetic tape, stick it to the back of the paper and the magnet sticks to the cabinet. No more magnets on top of pieces of paper. This is much more attractive. My magnetic labels are movable. If I have to relabel, I just take the old card stock off the magnet and use a glue stick to adhere the new label. My boss was impressed. Be creative. Think metal. Think magnet. Movable. Reusable.

really easy to cut and sticks really good. I even had to pull the tape up and restick it and it was able to stick again.

The first order of this magnetic tape did not work out well. However, the matter was quickly resolved and the replacement magnetic tape stuck to the ceiling and the magnetic force was much stronger and worked well holding an LED light firmly in place above my garage door. I plan on using other magnetic materials offered by this company to hold garden tools well abouve the ground so they are easily available and so they won't rust.

This is relatively light duty magnetic tape. Light duty meaning: It will hold power driver bits but not anything heavier. If that is what you want, keep reading. This tape has medium duty glue (speaking as an expert). To use this tape you must a) 'book' it, b) apply in cool & dry conditions, c) apply only to non-porous material (metal, glass, most plastic). (Booking means: unroll it flat and place a book on either end for 24 hours to remove all tendency to curl.) If you don't book it, if there's too much heat or humidity, if the surface is porous or dirty, the tape will curl off. If you can meet all the above criteria, this tape will work well. Otherwise, you're going to be fighting it and annoyed it isn't stronger and with heavier duty glue. Full disclosure: its useless for the purposes I tried to use it for. BUT, I emailed the company and they absolutely bent over backwards trying to help me out with multiple samples of additional products that might work better. Customer service is why this product gets 5 stars. Otherwise quality and narrow use range would warrant 3 stars.

This tape works exactly as described. It is not intended for heavy objects, which is stated in the description. To make refrigerator magnets or to secure small items on a metal wall it works very well, but anything over half a pound you will have to use a LOT of magnetic tape to make it work. It can be done but small, heavy objects will not have enough surface area. This is a 4 star product but when I had a question about it I called the company and recieved amazing customer service. That is rare these days and bumps this item to a 5 Star product.

I bought a pizza pan at the dollar store and stuck the magnetic tape on the back on my makeup bottles. As you can see from the picture, you do not need to use a ton of the tape to keep items from rolling around. I am very happy. This will save me space, and time (won't have to rummaging through my makeup looking for a particular item).

I bought this item to use in my bathroom. I needed a place to have hair pins, decorative and otherwise, to be easily accessible. This magnetic tape is perfect. I love it! I now use it in my craft room, office and kitchen to hold small items in place and they are easily accessible. In the office I use the magnetic tape to hold business cards held with paper clips, empty paper clips so they are easily accessible and my "to do" list so I don't forget anything. I'm sure I will find many more uses for this versatile product. Much more to it than expected. I highly recommend.

I was looking for a (not too expensive) magnetic tape option for classroom manipulatives in my current chemical bonding unit. I am lucky enough to have two magnetic/whiteboard walls in my classroom, though one is far more magnetic than the other. This tape hold my laminated element symbols and electrons without issues. I followed the directions as far as letting the tape reach room temperature and laying it out on a flat surface before applying. It has worked wonderfully and it looks like a may have to order more in the future. I would absolutely recommend this product.
