- Delivers 1,000 or more cuts without changing the wheel
- Advanced diamond technology provides 30X longer life than thin bonded cutoff wheels in metal cutting applications* *Average performance in 1” carbon steel square tube vs. thin bonded abrasive cutoff wheels.
- Solid steel wheel body greatly reduces risk of breakage for added safety, increased productivity, reduced downtime, and a lower cost per cut compared to thin bonded cutoff wheels
- Maintains original wheel diameter throughout the life of the blade for better control, reach, and precision
- Does not wear down like bonded abrasives reducing dust particles for a cleaner work station

Nice cutoff wheel for rebar
I spent a weekend cutting (and welding) 1/2" rebar for a garden arbor project. I probably made about 100 cuts and this blade is still going strong. Once in awhile the rebar would move on me (I was holding it down with my foot) and the blade would bind and "jump out". This would have been instant death for a standard fiber cutoff blade, but this one didn't get any damage. Just reset the rebar and keep on cutting. I would say the speed is the same or slightly faster than a standard fiber cutoff blade too. I think the first 2-3 cuts with the blade were real fast, and then it "settled" into normal cutting speed. Its still pretty quick.

Never using standard cut off discs again. This disc is the best!
Fantastic product! The disc doesn't wear down and get smaller and smaller like the standard cut off discs. This alone makes spending the extra money for this disc worth it. The other great thing is that you also don't get near the amount of dust. While there is still the metal dust of what you are cutting, there is no cut off disc dust. Sure, I still wear a respirator but the overall dust level in the shop is way down since I switched to this disc. Can't say enough good things about this product! I'll never buy standard discs again.

BEST CIRCULAR SAW METAL CUTTING BLADE EVER...
Pros: Superior, in many ways. This lasts far longer than abrasive cut off wheels, discs, and other Sawzall blades for sure. Extremely fast on smaller stock. Old but still new technology- Carbide toothed blades should be outdated, and spit shards of sharp metal into your face or hands even with serious PPE. Cons (although trivial) : It will make the metal (if its over 3/16ths) so hot you cannot touch it. Any metal gets hot through cutting, unless on a mill bandsaw. On 1/4" stock it will leave a burr of about 1/4" wide. Not a big deal. Lennox has always made the best metal cutting blades out there, and it makes short work of steel and lasts ridiculously long. It will cut through 3/4 as well... It takes about 3 to 4 cuts through 1/4" cold rolled steel to dull the best Sawzall blade, I've made at the least about 30 to 40 cuts through 1/4" thick angle iron and no signs of dulling yet.

WOW!
Classic "hot knife through butter" scenario. Cutting 1/4" flat bar mild steel with no issues. Gets a little hot, but so do the standard crap disks. I feel like this has a lesser chance of exploding than standard cut off disks. Very good with the first few cuts, stay tuned for longevity rating!

Diamond Edge Cutoff Wheel
I do not have a gas cutting torch, so this Diamond Edge Cutoff Wheel is the ticket. I used it with my 4 1/2" 11-amp DeWalt angle grinder to cut the bottoms of two very large CO2 cylinders. The walls of the tanks were 1/4" tick. It was done not as fast as a cutting torch would have done the job, but it did the job.

Cuts great, will buy again when it eventually wears out 10/10
Cuts so well. I'm very happy this was the one I decided to buy and try, not that I wasn't happy with my previous cutting wheel. After using this to cut some square tube I noticed something...I was unhappy with my previous cutting wheel because I didn't know how much faster and easier it could be! Threw my old discs in the emergency draw to hopefully never touch again, this is all I need now.

Heard goI'd reviews on this so I wanted to try ...
Heard goI'd reviews on this so I wanted to try. The other cut off disks wear away as you use them causing frequent changes and added hazardous dust in the air. It can also fly apart. None of those issues with this. I can now just leave this on my 2nd grinder and forget about it. Don't have to worry how many cutting disks I have before starting a job.

What an incredible blade!
I bought a 4 1/2 wheel. We were going to bust up a Kohler cast iron tub, but that cast iron was holding on for dear life. So, plan b. I figured that I was going to destroy this diamond wheel, but I had no choice. That Kohler cast iron is 3/8ths and thicker. I mainly cut from the ceramic side. I didn't push hard on the wheel, just enough pressure to keep it cutting. Long story short, it cut about 25 linear feet thru the heavy ceramic coating as well. Probably 30-35% of the diamond cutter left. For about 12 bucks from the Big "A". Straight up. That DeWalt grinder sure knew it was doing something. I'm impressed. As a Plumber, I've used Lenox blades and bits for 30 years or more. Always considered them to be worth the money.

Only Metal Cutting Angle Grinder Blade I Will Buy
I originally found this item and purchased it after I decided I did not like using the composite blades due to the way they get smaller the more you use it, and most importantly the danger of using them. so far I have used this cutting wheel to cut several bolts off a backhoe from bucket to change the cutting edge, it did cut slower, however after 5 or 6 3/4" hardened bolts, the blade shows no obvious wear to the cutting material, nor did I feel like it was going to come apart and throw pieces every where if I changed the angle at all. When this one wears out I will be buying more.

Amazing cut off wheel
I don’t normally write reviews, but this is a great tool. If you use regular cut off wheels. I highly recommend you buy this. It will outlast countless regular wheels. I just ordered a replacement for the first one i bought almost two years ago. That one still cuts, but it is starting to get dull. Another plus is there is not the danger of this wheel exploding like other wheels. It may be more expensive, but it will save you money in the long run.
