Does the job well!

I bought this for a family member who had lost the remote to his TV and needed a new one. This was an old HD Haier TV, very very hard to find a replacement. And the replacement would've been more expensive. After trying all the Haier codes (none of which worked), I attempted to do the "Automatic code finding method", which found the code for the TV. So if none of the codes provided work for your TV, don't give up! Try the automatic code finding method in the manual. I love the sleek design and small form factor. It feels nice in the hand. Definitely recommend and will buy more if I need spare remotes in the future!

Cannot Live Without

Holy Mother of Pearl this remote is all that my husband and I can talk about since opening it. It made our cumbersome Apple TV into an everyday use item. Plus, this turns the soundbar into our default audio, no more having to play with it everytime we turn on the TV. This thing comes straight out of the box already working with my Samsung TV and my Apple TV. However, when I used the out-of-the-box setup, the remote would choose which thing to work on. For example, the POWER button would turn on the TV (good), the arrows would work around the Apple TV menu (good), but the MENU button would bring up the Samsung TV menu and not work as a back button for the Apple TV (bad). Super easy fix, I simply programmed one of the 4 devices to be for TV, and another device to work for the Apple TV. Now I get to choose what the MENU button does (heh heh evil laugh). This advertises as 4 devices, but it actually works with 4 devices plus a soundbar. This will not work for PS3 or other Bluetooth-remote devices. Holy Mother of Pearl.

Happy to report that it works perfectly with our ten ...

After dragging my heels and dealing with several remotes (that barely worked) I finally broke down and purchased this for under $10. Happy to report that it works perfectly with our ten year-old AV setup AND our Roku. The master volume setting is a big bonus in my book. Outstanding value.

Simple Tools Make the Best Impact!

Fantastic remote! I recently got the Apple TV 4K and have a Samsung TV. The Siri remote sucked with the touch pad gestures incredibly hard (and I have older people at home who are not wired for geeky remotes) to use. I got the Logitech Harmony 650 for $40 but I couldn't control volume on it on TV while controlling the Apple device and the remote was working on and off at random moments. This one is < $10 and was a breeze to setup with both my TV and Apple 4K and it almost replaces the Siri remote (only tiny thing is, the mic feature of Siri remote is not available; but I can live without that)

Works Better Than Expected!

My dog ate my DVD remote, so I was looking for something economical to replace it. This remote is fantastic! I managed to not only link my DVD player, but also my TV and XBOX! I was skeptical the TV was going to work because mine has SMART functions, but they all work. Can use it to pull up Netflix, Hulu, Prime TV, etc.

Best $15 spent, and a time saver too.

Best $15 ever spent. I bought a Samsung TV to replace a Vizio TV. I have a Vizio sound bar who's volume could be adjusted when using the cable remote programmed for the TV. When I paired the Samsung to the cable remote I could not control the sound bar volume. I tried programming AUX with the Vizio TV code, no luck.. I called the cable company. No luck. I called vizio, no luck. I was not going to spend >$50 on a remote to control a $120 sound bar. I was ready to buy a new sound bar but vizio could not guarantee it would work with the cable remote. So I bought this for $15 hoping the description was correct. It was and in less time than I was on hold with either the cable or vizio I was up and running and able to control the cable box, TV, DVD, and sound bar. And its lighter and smaller that the cable remote.

Young Dumb & Full of Rum!

Where do I start... I'm a huge couch potato and basically have a Samsung and Roku. I hate switching remotes so I ordered this. Let me tell you... The freaking best 10 bucks I ever spent. Works for both right out of the box with no codes necessary! Press Cabl for Roku. Here's where the dumb part comes in. So I get the package in the mail and I say let me pour some rum and coke and mess with it later. After drinking about a pint I entered codes from the little instruction book and half of the buttons did not work. I'm like wtf... Worst remote ever and I started looking for another one. While searching on my phone I decided to do a master reset on the remote control and when I did.... Lol it worked perfectly for both. And after doing further research it automatically comes programmed for Samsung and Roku. No more drinking and remote pairing! 🍺🍺🍺 Seriously thought.... Best 10 bucks you would spend. You can not beat it. I will update if I get any issues...

GE is now more intuitive than Apple

I got a new Apple TV and the remote is terribad. I’m not kidding, it is truly awful. If you place the Apple TV remote next to you, and, heaven forbid, accidentally touch it, you’ve now skipped 40 minutes ahead and ruined the ending of your favorite movie. Have two people on a couch? Forget it. Luckily THIS remote doesn’t care if you accidentally touch it - it just shrugs it off and lets you continue doing you. No judgement. Because it knows it was just an accident. It doesn’t go into a fit. No app switching, no pausing, no charging, it just works. It doesn’t come with those sweet off-brand AAA’s, so you’ll need 2 before you throw the Apple TV remote across the room. Oh and it works with the new Vizio sound bar and my old, heavy, tank-like Sharp TV, which has outlived its remote because it’s from the Soviet era. So, it’s safe to say this remote is universal.

If you have a Samsung, buy this one!

We lost the remote for our Samsung TV and it got pretty old having to get up and turn it on or turn down the volume (it's 2017!). I ordered this not ever having used or set up a universal remote and once I popped the batteries in it just started working! Thank baby jesus! I didn't have to do any of the programming stuff since it is pre-set for Samsung TV's. Hallalejuah. I was worried, but couldn't make it easier than that. If you have a Samsung TV, get this! The price is right and it's pre-programmed.
