Fast and effective!
This little spark plug tester was shipped on time and arrived as advertised. It has already paid for itself by helping me diagnose a problem with my lawnmower. I was able to ID the spark plug as the problem immediately. The usual method of grounding the plug and watching for the spark can be difficult when working on a pull start mower that has the plug on the front. How can you watch for the spark around the front of the mower? This tester allowed me to save time and money. I would recommend this product & seller.

Works great! I had a power washer that did not start anymore and I tried about everything I could find on youtube and what the manufacturer suggested. While I had replaced the spark plug I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with actually getting the spark plug to spark. This inexpensive tool did exactly that. Make sure that you check it in a shaded area and not direct sunlight or it will be hard to see. Basically, you just see a relative faint orange light when the spark plug works. Also make sure that the spark plug is actually inserted or at least is touching ground. Basically, this tester is just inserted between the spark plug and the installed spark plug cable.

Simple product to use if you just want to see if you are getting electricity to the spark plug. I was thinking that you need to two people to use this because you need someone to crank the motor and another to see if the tester lit up. While you don't. All you need is your phone or camera with video function. I set up my phone, hit record, cranked the motor (my mower wasn't starting) and then reviewed the video. Now I can check off power to the spark plug.

It works.
It's a simple device and it works. . .If the spark plug is firing properly then a fairly bright light flashes with each firing. If no light, then there's no spark. Pay attention though, even with this in line to the spark plug the motor can/will start and run. It does not interfere with the running at all. So keep your feet and hands away from the moving parts!

worked great and arrived on time
This worked great and was much easier than using a spark plug as I normally do. With my eyesight not as good as it once was I was able to see the spark clearly. Tested 2 mowers and found that one was firing and the other was not, also checked a tractor to make sure all plugs were firing as they should. Would recommend this to anyone!

Works great to diagnose ignition problem
Very easy to use. Placed between plug wire and the spark plug on an old Jeep with a 360 v8. This allowed me to see that spark was getting to my engine. I was able to tell the spark was weak, until I replaced a magnetic pick up unit in my distributor. Then this tool showed a strong spark. Very useful.

Easy to use.
The tester arrived when promised and appears to be as advertised. I tested it on my lawnmower and it seems to work well. I bought it specifically to test for spark on a leaf blower that wasn't working. The mechanics of pull starting a leaf blower makes it difficult to pull the rope and watch a tester, all while trying to keep the blower from jumping around too much while pulling the rope. The only potential issue I see is that the probe that inserts into the boot from the engine isn't (or at least wasn't in this case) a snug fit, causing you to question whether the lack of spark is from a faulty ignition component or a bad connection with the tester, In the case of a small, light, handheld pull start implement, it'd probably be best to have the assistance of a second person to perform this test.

Just don`t grab the male end when cranking the engine
I purchased this Ram-Pro In- Line Spark Plug Engine Ignition, simply put, for the exact reason it`s advertised for. I put it between the spark plug and plug wire instead of pulling the spark plug every time. This tells me if the points or electronic ignition is functioning. Or if I need to check the spark plug. I`ve read some reviews that were not so good. So far I don`t agree with them. The length hasn`t been an issue for me so far. (And the best part is, you can make it longer), with a piece of plug wire 7 or 8 mm for the deep spark plugs in the valve covers. Or for the spark plugs hidden in the back of the engines. The manufacturer could even add some extra length wire in the package. And one more thing. The light in this tester could be brighter when testing the spark plug, unscrewed from the head. Most cases that dosen`t need to happen. I`m happy with this tester.

Money Saver
So far I have used this device about 7 to 8 times. This morning my neighbor's party barge was running rough, thanks to this device I discovered he had a bad spark plug. A quick trip to the auto parts store for two new spark plugs and for less than $6 we had the motor running like new. I knew it was the spark plug because we had spark to the plug but the plug was not firing. If you go to a marine dealer that would have cost at least one hours labor and no telling how much they would have charged for the plugs. Around here labor cost is $75 with a one-hour minimum plus parts. Within less than one hour and the motor was fixed including the trip to the auto parts store. Many $$$$'s saved.

Haven't used yet. But for what I expected to pay locally, they came in more cost effective and with very fast delivery. On review (by hand) their product appears very appropriate. Good quality and well worth the price paid. Price was right. Delivery was fast.
