Love this product

Love this product! My husbabd is in the military and is leaving for a six-month deployment. There are certain things that he is going to need like blankets and pillows that are very bulky. I looked on Amazon, and these bags had awesome reviews. Last night my husband was filling up bags with his blankets and pillows, sheets and towels. He kept telling me how awesome the product is and how thankful he was that I purchased them! They are easy to use and save A LOT of room!!

SpaceSaver Premium Vacuum Storage Bags

I just ordered these vacuum storage bags on the recommendation of a family member. I have only had the opportunity to use one of the medium size, but I am more than pleased with how easy it is to use. It is nice to have different sizes available and comes with a handy, easy-to-use hand pump. We will be moving across town soon and these bags will make packing linens and clothing a breeze. I have read that other brands are faulty so I am hopeful that if there is any air leakage with the rest of these bags, it will be limited to one. I fully expect to reorder again very soon. Would definitely recommend SuperSaver Vacuum storage bags - comes in all sizes and multi-pack.

Great product, first time using this brand

Great product, first time using this brand. I put puffy comforters in the jumbo ones three weeks ago and they're still perfectly deflated. Smaller ones have also kept their seal, same time frame. I have in the past used "the OTHER brand" and they never kept a seal. Once stacked them on a shelf, they inflated and I had a hard time getting them out ! These Space Saver brand bags are the best ! Highly recommend them.

Extremely satisfied with my purchase

Well, this my very first written review on an item purchased at Amazon. And it is well deserved. I purchased these bags to replace my very old original brand Space Bags. First thing I noticed was the material of the Space Savers bag is much much better than that of Space Bags original brand. The 12 piece box is the way to go when making this purchase. I am planning on using the small bags to pack my suitcase for my business trips. Also, the seller's follow up to the purchase is outstanding and very sincere. I know if I ever have an issue with my purchase I can count on a great customer service experience.

Freeze Your Clothes In CARBONITE...

I took clothes from 5 large 20gal rubbermaid bins and they now fit in 1, mostly. I use a vacuum sealer for food so I would consider myself well versed in the black art of watching air being sucked from plastic bags. Same general principle only with shirts I no longer fit into but can't throw away because some day I will get in shape again. The amount of reduction you get in size really depends on how uniformly and flatly you pack them. I shoved clothes in like someone was coming to murder me and I had to hit the road. Results were still awesome vacuum flatness. The "plank," if you will, of clothes is pretty rigid so if you made some weird shape, based on how you stuffed the bag, you probably won't wind up with nice uniform stack-able planks.Not a major deal but I wound up not being able to nicely store the bag with my jackets.

Great job and value

Really do the job! I had lots of extra bedding to put away after the holidays that are only used once or twice a year. I purchased the set with many sizes and was able to now put away them on one shelf in my linen closet instead of stuffing them wherever there was room. No more shifting them around! I will use the smaller ones for packing extra towels, plus for travel. I cannot wait to put my fleece sheets in one of these!

6 people, 1 suitcase!

Five stars! So pleased with this purchase. I packed myself and all five of my children into one large suitcase for an eight day trip to Hawaii. I do have one toddler and one infant, so their things are pretty small. The SpaceSaver bags worked perfectly! I found it best to pack our clothes as flat as possible in the bags, as I would have packed a regular suitcase. So impressed to find we fit everything easily! And we are not light packers :) I used a vacuum hose at home before we came, and packed the hand pump. Based on other reviews of the hand pump I thought I'd need to borrow a vacuum from housekeeping to repack, but he hand pump worked great! Photo is of the repack using the hand pump on the day we left.

So far so good!

I've only used the XL bags, but they are holding really well and both swallowed up a ton of bedding without issue. I was able to use the hand pump to remove almost all of the year, but it's definitely much faster to utilize a small vacuum if available. It's also really tempting to keep stuffing things into the bag past the stop line, but since there's twelve bags there should be plenty of storage available without using them outside the recommendations.

Exactly what was promised

I have to say that I was nervous about buying this product because of the reviews that said that it leaked in air in a few hours or a few days. However, I am happy to report that I used one of the smaller bags and one of the XL bags to save space on sweaters and blankets, respectively, and it has not let air back in so far (it has been 4 days). As long as you follow the directions (don't fill beyond the STOP line), make sure not pieces of thread is stuck around the cap area, and use your fingers to make sure the bag is fully closed after you use the attached plastic zipping component, it works perfectly as promised! The key is to not just rely on the plastic zipper thing that comes with the bag but to also use your fingers to make sure the bag is fully closed. I used a vacuum and didn't use the pump that came with it.

Literally a space saver.....

Wow - what a space saver. I didn't quite get how it would work with a vacuum but its flattens pillows, comforters and I'm really looking forward to traveling - this will make it easier to stay with on piece of luggage. I was not sure how big the bags would be so the variety pack is perfect. Works as promised. Fast delivery.
