I've seen similar manifolds at more than twice the price

I was very very impressed with this manifold set and all the adapters that came with it. The protective coverings over the gauges is a plus. The extra thick red and blue gauge covers prevent your glass from getting shattered an obvious dents on simular metal manifolds that are manufactured without that type of protection also I was surprised to see it came with six foot hoses where most gauges at this price come with three footers. I've been in the industry for over 45 years I recommend these manifolds to the beginner or the pro. I also checked out the doll stems and how easy the inner seals may be able to be replaced and found that the manifold is very serviceable.

Great gauge set

Nice manifold gauge set. Out of all the negative reviews i read, the positive reviews were good enough for me and they proved good. Got my set in today, everything worked like it should, gauges read accurate as my A.C. ran nice and cold. Well worth the money as i didn't spend $90 at the mechanic shop. I highly recommend this gauge set for the pro mechanic or the shade tre DIY guys.

Fine Quality for the DIY type

For the DIY type person, these gauges worked just fine. I was able to clearly see the numbers on the scales. I needed to pull a 28" vacuum on the truck before I charged the AC system. The gauges worked as prescribed. If anything, the vacuum portion of the gauge could be a little bigger, but outside of that I cant complain. I have AC in my old Silverado again!.

Worked great for car a/c

Worked great for car a/c. Had to buy FJC 6030 Can Tap and FJC 6015 R134A Refrigerant Tank Adapter to get everything to fit together for using the 12 oz. cans of R134a.

For occasional use, works very well. We saved a bundle by filling up ourselves our SubZero fridge with freon. This kit has it all. We bought an additional tap 1/4 flare valve. With videos on the net on how to do it, WOW !!

Best bang for the buck.

Great buy for a DIY job. Not exactly professional grade but I never wanted to spend that kind of money for a DIY. These work great, they don't leak, the gages are easy to read, and everything is very sturdy for the price.
