Best toy EVER
Best toy EVER. Our 2 1/2 y.o. could count fairly high but still was not understanding the association of numbers to the amount of objects. He calls these his "Number Pegs" and he LOVES them. It only took a couple of times before he started understanding. We taught him to check his pegs when he's done and make sure he has the right number by touching each peg with his finger as he counts, it's really made a difference in his comprehension. The way the openings are set up so you can also teach addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Outstanding quality!
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. He loves lining up the wooden peg holders, putting all the pegs in the holes, and then taking them out again. He is getting a lot of fine motor skills practice. He likes the number and counting aspects, but that is secondary to the pure joy of so many pegs to manipulate. I like that he is picking up number identification and one to one correspondence effortlessly as he spends time with this set. I can't say enough about the high quality of the wooden number boards and pegs. The wood is gorgeous, the paint is durable, and the pegs fit firmly enough that they always stand tall.

Perfectly Montessori!!!!
We love Montessori philosophy and try to expose my daughters to it as much as possible. My 2y old is loving this and she counts from 1-10. Wood is sturdy. Quality is as perfect as expected. Loved them and highly recommend.

Well Made and Reasonable Price
Now that we are homeschooling thanks to covid, I have purchased a ton of wooden toys and educations products. We were gifted one set and I bought a second set. Really love the quality of this product. The wood is very thick, smooth and has a nice weight( unlike the cheaper alternatives) This is definitely one of those things you can pass down to your friends’ kids. Hopefully the paint stays on for a long time!

So glad we bought this!
Quality peg board set. Love the storage bags that come too. We opened and played with it right away. My 2.5 year old loves it. Helps with number recognition, counting and motor skills. Shipping time was fantastic even though it wasn't a Prime item. We are one state over from where it was shipped, but it arrived before our Prime shipping items! Very happy with purchase!

Perfect
Our five year old loves this set and it’s extremely versatile. We have used it for reading numbers; as flash cards; basic counting with the pegs; learning to write the numbers; and basic math (put the 3 and 5 together and count the pegs - makes 8!) Well made and neat appearance. 5 stars!

but it looks great, and seems very interesting and educational
I did not read the size descriptions -- these were surprising big when I opened the box, I expected something twice as small. My son hasn't seen this yet, but it looks great, and seems very interesting and educational.

Sturdy enough for my little monsters.
"I want to do numbers!!!" My 3 year old says. If that doesn't tell you how great this is... Theyre thick so they won't break. I got so tired of buying flash cards it wasn't even funny.

Great math material!
Love this product! I don’t need to worry about them breaking. Only negative is the pegs roll and they’re loud on a wooden table in a kindergarten class! But I really shouldn’t complain! Great resource for math.
