Finally! An adorable book for single parents or same sex couples!!!

I got this one for myself, as a single mom, it was difficult to find a milestone book that wasn't constantly referencing his absent father. And because it didn't call out for mom either, it would work very well for either gender single parent, or even same sex couples.

Cute and Wonderful book

I like this book. It's a really cute little book. Easy to use. Love the woodland animals. We foster so it works really well since our situation isn't traditional. Has pages labelled family and before arrival instead of pregnancy and birth pages or a family tree to fill in.

Adorable & simple

I love this baby book! I really didn’t want one of those extravagant baby books because realistically I’d never fill it out. This one is great because it is simple, but it has places for milestone photos (each month/ year, first bath, first steps, first food, etc) plus space for miscellaneous things. It’s not too overwhelming. I also like that it’s adaptable for different families. I’m making a mental note of this one for future baby shower gifts.

Fantastic graphics! It's cute without being too sweet.

This journal has amazing graphics! It's cute without being too sweet. The pages have spots to fill in birth stats, memories, and other fun facts. It's the perfect balance to capture milestones without having to write a biography. The only challenge with this memory book is all the pictures frames are a square shape and the size of the photo square isn't labeled. It will take a little bit of measuring to make sure I'm ordering the correct size photo to place in the book. I would highly recommend this book. It would also make a great shower gift.

Cute book

I am one of those moms who knows better than to get a detailed 5 year book. Some people can keep up with it but I am not one of them! I love how detailed the first year is and then just a picture for every year to five years. There is a lot of room in the back of the book for extra pictures or milestone items or really anything and you can make your own pocket for cards or something since the book is so big!

High quality baby book, perfect for keeping track of milestones

The minute I opened the packaging, I knew this wouldn't disappoint. The pages are a high quality card stock. The illustrations are sweet but not distracting. I really love that holidays like Passover are included, and removable. So nice to see other cultures represented simply and easily. The book isn't overwhelmingly long, but nothing is missing either. Another nice little touch is that you can buy stickers that match. This book is perfect for capturing and recording milestones easily!

Perfectly Simple!

I was very hesitant to buy a baby book (especially at this price) for my third child, knowing how little time and energy I’d have to fill it. But I really wanted something to stamp his footprints in, and this one was so adorable. I love, love, love it! It’s SO simple- it’s perfect! None of those complicated pages where you record every tooth or growth charts. Just the important things! The firsts, and lots of photos. I do add his weight and length on the months that he had a doctors appointment. There are pages for various religious holidays, depending on your culture. Rather than tear out those that don’t pertain to us, I’m just filling them with photos. Even my husband enjoys writing in and reading this book. It’s wonderful!

LOVE!

After 6 months of use I can tell you this book is super cute & pretty easy to manage filling out each month, even with a newborn. I appreciate that it doesn't allow much room for writing because I don't have tons of time to write essays these days. ;) Compared with books just like it from other companies, this one seemed more "with the times", for example, it has a spot for the family tree but does not label any of the members (ie Aunt, Grandfather) which helps when not every family composition is the same.

Single parents

FOR SINGLE PARENTS- I searched for quite some time for a book that would work well for my situation. ( no active dad) I was a bit hesitant to order after reading it does have “parents” referenced a couple times but decided to give it a try as the only other option I was considering was about twice the price so figured I was see if it would work before ordering the book that is completely geared for a single mom. Below is a picture of the two pages where “parents” is reference. As you can see, it’s right below the picture squares, I will simply be cropping the pictures as to cover up the wording and think it will work just great! The book is very well made and cute without being too “ babyish” ! Covered all the big milestones and basics without going to in detail where I will be embarrassed by an empty book down the line!! Highly recommend for any family situation!

This is a great baby book for the parent that wants to record ...

This is a great baby book for the parent that wants to record something, but may be (like me) not the most timely with getting it done. The pages are fairly simple and don't ask for a lot of detailed writing, which when you have more than one kid to wrangle, is a blessing. This is for my second-born and the first baby book I got him had so many prompts to write in, I just stopped working on it after a few months. This book has a spot for a photo at each month and two little open-ended prompt boxes "Favorite Things" and "A Special Memory". I can easily look through my phone photos after the fact to jump start my memory to fill in that information! I really like that this book is more focused on the photo capturing, both seasons and milestones as well as a portion in the back that is open-ended. My "baby" is almost a year old and I know I can easily have this put together in time for his party! You won't regret getting one. And the illustrations are darling too!
