- Top-notch Quality. The solder sucker has an aluminum bronze frame and a high pressure vacuum which can remove solder from a printed circuit board effectively.
- Solder Wick Braid. The desoldering wick is 2.5mm wide and 1.5m in length. Weight: 0.4oz. With low residue design, this solder braid will help clean spare solder on the pin away to avoid short circuit, especially in small, hard to reach areas.
- Pure oxygen free copper wire, no clean flux for easy to use. The solder wick can help clean some residue flux and BGA thermal bonding pad too.
- Compact and Lightweight. Measuring 7.48''X0.79'', the desoldering pump can be used with only one hand, either your right or left hand.
- Solid Construction. The solder sucker has plastic backing to ensure stability.

Excellent Iron
Great little iron. It's everything advertised. Other reviews may complain that the switch and temp control knob gets in the way, but I personally have not had any such issue. It's a good, solid, iron that feels great in my hand. It's temp-control module is relatively quick-reacting and it has great initial heat-up time. After about 6 hours of on-time, the standard tip is still working and looking fantastic (I adhere to tip-tinning and cleaning procedures religiously, results might vary). My only gripe is the length of the cord. I can't remember how long it measures , but it wasn't enough. Another 12-18" added would make all the difference. It's not a real issue, as I just plug it into a 6 foot extension. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase, especially at the price. This iron has taken place as my favorite to use, even over both my Wellers and Lenk.

Necessity for desoldering jobs
Worked surprisingly well, amazing price. I never used either of these tools in particular for desoldering, I've only used the basic turkey baster style tool which has always been a bit of a pain. Needless to say i was amazed at how well this worked - heated up the solder pushed the button and bam, all solder sucked up. Super easy. A couple of tips for the sucker: - If you can't get the solder to melt with your iron, apply a little solder to it first - it will help conduct the heat into the existing solder. - Ultimately, this thing is pretty much disposable and limited time use (which is fine for the price) - every couple joints you desolder you should take it apart and clean out the solder to keep it working. The desoldering wick is good to have, but not as quick or effective other than removing solder from a flat surface (like removing splatter from something) - in my experience.

Great for the price.
I used this for a one-off soldering job I had to do; I'm not an expert solderer by any means, but I did a bit in hardware courses in college. This definitely doesn't feel quite as nice to use as the lab soldering iron I was used to, but for a quick and dirty job, at this price you can't go wrong. The on/off switch is pretty necessary to have in my opinion, and the tip heats up quickly.

Best Value in a Soldering Kit
This kit offers a great value for all that is included. I didn't need to purchase anything else save some Flex. First time soldering and the kit did not disappoint. Even the solder remover tool worked like a charm. The metal stand is a bit basic but it does the job. The unit itself is solid and I appreciated the tweezers that were included. All in all a solid buy.

Works, but not well made - upgraded model is much better
It's functional, but not very well made. The plastic threads on the main body are loose and sometimes causes it to separate when depressing the plunger. Putting a small pipe clamp on it helps hold it in place. The plunger is also not smooth and doesn't always latch on the first try. But when it does finally latch, it does work to create a good suction on the solder. UPDATE: OMorc honored their guarantee and replaced my unit with an updated model that fixes all the above issues, the new model is a single barrel construction and has no threads, the replaceable tips use a quarter twist lock, and the plunger action is very smooth and latches every time. As they actually stand by their product, they deserve 5 stars.

Excellent value.
Excellent value. The name on the one I received is VicTsing and not OMork but my purchase order link took me to this item which looks exactly the same. I've had this for a year and have done many small PCB jobs with wire sizes up to 18 gauge. I always use Tip Tinner before and after use and the tips have held up perfectly. It's hard to understand some of the negative reviews considering how well it works. Just be careful not to turn down the temperature setting while holding it as this has happened to me and made me think it stopped working.

No complaints so far. I use this to replace ...
No complaints so far. I use this to replace my pencil 25W soldering iron that seemed to be losing steam lately. The added power helps in that you don't have to keep the iron on a joint for extended periods of time. This iron is thin enough that it can be used on small PCB boards that are crowded with components. The LCD comes in handy because often I forget whether the iron is ON or OFF ! I just wish it was a little brighter. I haven't used the varying power switch much, just put it on full power and solder away.

I feel like a man
Did I just spend 2 hours and $16 on repairing a toy blow dryer that cost $1.99? Probably. Am I proud that I did? **** yeah! I feel like a man. The soldering iron is pretty sweet, has rubber grip, on/off switch, and adjustable temp controller. The package came with 6 different heads, soldering spinner thingy, and a little rest - all of which are 100% useful. I don't know what else you can possibly get for $16 to make you feel like a man.

5 stars for value.
Five stars for value. Heats up within a minute and good temperature control. Less fatigue for me since it's lightweight and cord is not as stiff as my old grounded iron. Pilot light could have been mounted outside instead of inside the handle to make it more visible. I didn't even realize it had one until I read the instructions. It's really faint. Minor observation for me since my old one didn't have it anyway. The "makeshift" freebie stand is not useful for me since I'm able to use the one that came with my old one that has a coil shield. But for the price I'll still give it a 5.

SWEET!!! ESPCIALLY FOR THE PRICE
I've used this little guy three times so far in a short period of time. It gets very hot in a quick amount of time and works above expectations. The solder it comes with is higher grade than i expected as well. The temp dial and on/off switch is very convenient and user friendly. You'll have to spend 2 to 3x as much to get a better quality solder gun trust me. I used this to solder some electrical condensers and it definetly did the job! Looking forward to future jobs with this awesome iron.
