This is a great little kit

This is a great little kit. I've never bought another kit like this so I can't really compare it to others, but I would buy another of these kits for another Pi in a heartbeat. Each of the components is high quality, and well packed, and there are even extras bits in case you lose something. For example, there are 5 screws where only 4 are needed, and 3 heatsinks where only two are needed. The heatsinks are attached with genuine 3M adhesive. The rubber feet have good adhesive too - there is no way these feet are accidentally falling off any time soon. The plastic case uses thick material which doesn't flex, and lays flat on a table without wobbling. I appreciate the ventilation slits too. Good strong power supply that doesn't block adjacent outlets on a power strip, and the switch on the cord has a positive "click." If you're debating between the solid black and the clear case, I suggest the clear: it allows you to see the activity LEDs on the board itself, plus it looks cool.

Great bang for your buck!

You just can't beat the savings in this combo. I wanted a case, power supply, and power toggle switch, and this has them all plus heatsinks. If I had bought these items seperately it would have cost twice the price. As others have mentioned, there are really only three things in this kit (the heatsinks count as two), but I was more than happy with what was included. The case is good quality, although I should mention that it does have cutouts for the GPIO pins, camera, and video, so if you want a totally enclosed case this isn't for you. The heatsinks come with a sticky backing and are very easy to install. Finally, the power supply gave me no issues and I like having the toggle switch to turn on and off the Pi without yanking the power cord.

Great affordable case with good airflow

This is a very well put together kit for the Raspberry pi 3. The case fits together easily, and does not have any areas inside the case that can damage the motherboard. The heat sinks were also a breeze to install, and the power supply cable with the on off button is a great bonus. I would probably order the clear case that Smraza sells next time, only because it would make it easier to see the led status lights on the pi. Perfect combo of basic accessories for the raspberry pi

This is the perfect combination of accessories that I needed for my Raspberry Pi. The main difference that sets this apart from other similar products is the fact that the power supply has a switch which makes powering down the raspberry pi so simple. For those not familiar, you have to remove the power plug in order to power down the pi under normal circumstances. This takes that out of the equation since you just have to flip the switch on the cord and you are good to go. Could the cord be a little longer? Yes it could, but I spent another $2 to get a 15 foot extension USB cable and I am good to go. Even with that extra cable, this bundle was still cheaper than most of the other accessory kits like it here on Amazon. The included case is fine. Nothing fancy but it does the job. I even accidentally dropped the pi while i was working with it and the case did its job and everything was fine. Get the job done and get your money's worth

Good packet. Pi is firmly held within the case in the case is nice and clear so you can see all the parts and pieces which not only looks cool but allows you to monitor the status of what's going on inside if need be. Love the switchable power supply. Not only is it more convenient but it's a little more elegant than just pulling plugs out left and right to turn things on and off.

Really nice, affordable case set

Really nice, affordable case set. I like that it comes with the heatsinks as they keep the chips cooler for extended operation. Because it's clear, it gives that "techie" coolness factor to my RPi3 while protecting it and allowing accessories to be connected easily. The best part about this kit, though, is the power switch that is inline on the cord! Talk about convenience! I use several RPis at work, and it's a real nuisance to plug and unplug them as needed. I love this switch! This is a great little case. my only criticism is that they should have put a place for the camera in it. However, having said that, I've got my camera on a long HDMI cable anyway, so it's all good in the end for me.

Worked great for my Rasberry PI3

Worked great for my Rasberry PI3, case snapped together nice and secure, all plug outlets still work great with no obstruction (can even slide SD card in and out still), case seems strong, came with extra screw and heat sink, power button on cord is a nice extra, and 2.5 amp power supply is exactly what Rasberry suggests you use. Even comes with 4 rubber feet to lay box on a solid surface and still let air in.

It looks pretty cool!

This is a great case that fits perfect on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. It is sturdy enough to protect your RPi, but also has enough holes to allow the air flow, This kit includes the clear case and 4 screws to attach the RPi to the case, 2 heat sinks (I received 3?), the micro-usb cable (with the on/off switch) and the power adapter. Overall: I like this case better over the official RPi (plastic solid color), it looks pretty cool!.

Good deal on Raspberry Pi 3 accessories.

Overall a very good kit for my new Raspi 3. The case was of a similar quality as those I've gotten in t he past from some of the adafruit distributors. The on/off power cord is nice. It has a nice think feel to it, the only draw back was it was only 3 feet long and there for I had to use an extension cord to get it to reach were I needed to. The power adapter is doing it's job nicely. I did not know if I needed the 2.5 amps for my pi. I believe it was necessary, but i find that it did speed up my boot time. Everything snapped together nicely. The four screws are new to me, but I see no harm in them. Good deal.

Everything you need, nothing you don't.

I installed my Pi in this as soon as it came and have been testing operation (continuous) on my ham radio for several days now. The case is compact and well built, Pi fit perfectly. If I could improve anything, it would be the instructions for the heatsinks - but that was easy to find on YouTube and a breeze to install. Love the on-off switch for the power supply, which by the way also solved my "low voltage" problem with a previous supply. I'll buy another with my next Pi.
