Used this to shield the pickup and control cavities of a guitar. The shielding is perfect. I've tested the conductivity with my DMM and the adhesive does indeed conduct at a perfectly acceptable level. I chose to fold over a small strip on the edge of each piece anyway to be extra sure of the continuity, but I don't think you really need to. The measured resistance across the widest point in the cavity is less than 0.2Ω.

I can verify that it electrically conducts through overlapping seams. I thought I might have to solder in places, but I only had to where I made a wire connection to ground. Some things to keep in mind - this is 'bare' copper so it will tarnish like a new penny. Also, the egdes tend to be sharp so take precaution or you'll end up with a few 'paper' cuts.

Excellent product, very good bargain. Easy to use if you take your time. Provides excellent RFI shielding for electric guitar.

If you have ever thought about using aluminum foil and spray glue to isolate your guitar cavities, just spend the money and get this stuff. The Kraftex foil is half the price of it's competition ( the roll is twice as long ) and is exactly the same. The application process of copper foil is all over the interweb, so i wont go over that. What i can tell you is you could probably do three guitars with this roll. Nice to know, because you will waste some, it's part of the process. I must also say that the company has excellent customer service, should you need it.

great product, fast shipping, works well! i was doubtful of the adhesive being conductive, what a mistake i was making! this copper foil tape has zero resistance all the way through the cavities on the guitar i shielded ! beyond happy and thankful! if you want to shield a guitar from EMI,etc. THIS IS GREAT STUFF!

This seems like a nice product, but I seem to have gotten the betamax instead of the VHS. It really gummed up my player. Seriously though, if you're looking at this product, there's a good chance you're looking to shield your guitar's cavities and pickguard. You're going to want to have a few things on hand before you get started: 1. Xacto knife. This is precision work, and you need a precision cutter. 2. Nitrile Gloves. This is optional, but when you're done there's going to be small sharp bits of metal everywhere. if you aren't careful you'll end up with more papercuts than you can count. 3. A workbench appropriate to your work height. I used a plastic folding picnic table, covered with an inexpensive flannel sheet (to minimize the spread of metal debris, and to protect my instrument's finish). This made it easier for me, but feel free to disregard this advice. Which is what you were going to do anyway. This tape isn't exactly easy to work with, but if you have a bit of patience and think your way through some of the trickier curves, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

I got this copper foil tape to wrap around an outdoor container I planted catnip herb in. The catnip was flourishing in the container but it was constantly being eaten by snails and slugs. So, I got this tape, cleaned all the snails/slugs (that I could find) out of the container and wrapped this tape around the outside of the container. It was very easy to trim and apply (it's thin, like aluminum foil, after you remove the paper backing). Supposedly, snails/slugs will not cross the copper tape to re-enter the container. It's been too soon since I applied the copper tape to know whether this is true. It may take weeks to know for sure. I'll update my review when I find out whether the copper tape stops the snails/slugs from getting to the catnip.

Used this to shield my Fender Strat and it worked Great. So I had for a long time plugged right into the amp without using pedals and some times I would notice a Hum but it was but mostly very low or no-Hum at all. But lately I have been using more pedals and the Hum on when playing my Strat has been more noticeable and annoying, What I had also noticed is that on my Les Paul (Humbucker) there was no Hum. So I did a little research and people suggested using copper shielding and IT WORKED! It really makes a difference , the sound when not effected by Hum really gives a Pristine Tone. Good Stuff.

Thats product really work, it stops the slugs and snails from eating and feasting on my veggies and flowers. I put it around the raised beds, and that's ti.. no more slugs and snails. Also, the customer service is great, I had to contact them, they replied immediately addressing my problem and had it solved. Thank you so much. Yes, recommended it.

Used this to shield a guitar. Works perfectly. It also will slice up your hands faster than Jack The Ripper on meth. It's like copper razor blades. It gets 5 stars because of the impressive volume of blood it was able to extract from my body. BE CAREFUL.
