Excellent Fitted Protection. Large Hook for "Intelligent" Rear-view mirrors.
Excellent product. Fits placard perfectly. Nice thick protection with large hook that fits over "intelligent" rear-view mirrors. The previous placard protector was purchased at the DMV. It lasted about 2 months before shrinking and becoming brittle. When we went to renew our placard the DMV representative said to check out Amazon for quality protectors. So happy that we did!

Great product that feels and existing need!
Handicap Placards are required to be in plain sight. Over time, the top of these can get a bit twisted or actually break. Got a ticket once when mine fell off onto the dashboard and was still clearly visible. This occurred at a hospital that was patrolled by a city. My friend had driven me there and was quite disturbed that she was going to get an expensive ticket when we had the thing. Thank goodness for iPhones so that we were able to show that it was still clearly visible. This device prevents that from happening! What in inexpensive fix for a problem that many have. Great product !

Oversized
They're a bit larger than the usual placard holders, however, being oversized is not necessarily a bad thing. These holders are sturdier... the hook is made of heavy duty plastic and the plastic pouch is a little heavier also. I think these holders will have more longevity than the "standard sized" holders, especially from the type of usage they probably will receive. Also, the larger size looks right a home in my husbands F-150.

Useful Product!
I never knew why people used these, when the placard has its own hook for hanging. Then one day I was riding with my friend and a gust of wind sent his flying-m. I grabbed it--and it split in two! The UV here in Arizona eats up plastics. I tried taping it, and it was clearly going to disintegrate with much more handling. This clear sleeve is just the thing. My friend has a couple more years before he has to renew his permit, and without this product, he would have had a problem.

Recommended for NC
These are perfect for North Caroline size paper placards. Sliding in the placard was super easy. The protective placard is still thin enough for me to slide it in the sun-roof gap. The hook is easy to hang on the BWM's "thickish" mirror stem. Easy on-easy off. Reviews by others say its very durable. Recommend.

Best protective sleeve for Florida sun and humidity
I live in Florida where the sun is brutal in breaking down plastic. These handicap parking permit placard protective sleeves work great. There is a lot of room for the placard to slide into the sleeve, hook is easy to slip on and off over the rear view mirror, and the sleeve hook protects my state issued parking permit hook from bending, twisting or tearing. The seller shipped the items very quickly and were well protected in the mail. I have had protective sleeves before for my handicap parking permit placard but these are the best I have had. Previously the sun would cause the plastic sleeve to shrink and cling tight to the placard making it difficult for the placard to be removed from the sleeve at a later date. I have no problems with this product.

This is really a "drop and go" sleeve and we really like it.
This protective hanging cover for our handicap parking placard is impressive. This is a heavier gauge plastic, and the placard just drops down into it. The cover has it's own hanger, eliminating the need to try to fit the placard's shaped one into the upper part of the sleeve. This is really a "drop and go" sleeve and we really like it.

Super
For years I did makeshift holders from plastic folders, because the handicap tags are not sturdy, and fall apart... especially if you live in a hot southern state. I wish I had found these years ago; I am delighted to have them!

I would buy it again
The placard holder works great. The clear plastic is heavier than expected, which is good. I use a Garmin Dash Cam 20 and it's placed right behind my rearview mirror which makes it awkward to put up my handicap placard and show the expiration date to the police as they cruise by looking for parking violators. But this handicap holder drops it down a few inches past my dash cam, plus it make it easier to hang on my mirror.

I was doubtful, but I do really like them!
Very handy! The hook on them is 100% easier to hang than the cards themselves, and the card still fits in the jockey box of my husband's car just fine. My car has the plates, so I carry my second placard in my wallet in case I need it, and I was worried about how stiff the plastic on the covers would be, but they are flexible enough to bend the hook over and zipper my wallet closed. It doesn't fold flat, of course, but it's pretty close, even when brand new. Definitely recommend these!
