I am amazed how much easier and pain free walking is while ...
I have a bone on bone issue with a knee from which I suffer from arthritis that will eventually require full or partial replacement. I decided to search Amazon for a knee brace to make walking easier. I found a reasonably priced product that seemed to fit the bill. It is a "TechWarePro Adjustable Knee Support". The order was made and the item arrived sooner than expected. I am amazed how much easier and pain free walking is while using the brace. There were a bunch of knee brace types listed so the choices should satisfy anyone looking for one.

Perfect Fit!!!!
Needed a plus size brace that was actually PLUS SIZED. After buying and returning 3 previous braces, this one deliverd on it’s accurate measurements and its expectations for support to my knee. I didn’t need stiff bracing or hinged movement however, because I am a plus-size woman I did need strength and durability from the elastic components. This brace is a perfect fit providing good support without pinching or cutting off my circulation. A bonus for this brace is that you can fly through airport screening because there are no metal reinforcements. Wearing it while traveling is a must due to all of the walking - Perfect Match to my need. THANK YOU!!!

Brace so easy to put on ...
This is totally what I needed ...my knee is slipping in and out and has pain that moves so this is awesome. At the store I searched for a brace that would fit my leg and they were all too small....this is great for a larger thigh above the knee.

Better than from the Orthopedic Doctor and Less Expensive
After purchasing several different knee braces and two knee sleeves, I finally have this brace a "WTH" try because of the claim of cross-joint straps and some of the reviews left by purchasers. To begin with, I had minescus surgery, so that went well, but other issues arose after. I don't have the stability in my knee joint to walk without a cane and if I pivot on my knee, it goes out from under me with a shooting pain that makes my "teeth water". As soon as I strapped this knee brace on and stood up, I was amazed at the fact that I could actually stand, bend my knee and make a step, and even make a small turn (or pivot, if you will) without tumbling to the ground. I can actually walk about my home without the cane. It is amazing at how a small, lightweight, relatively inexpensive item such as this can make you feel functional again. The brace is very well made, stays in place, even after walking all day and getting in and out of a car, bending a bit, etc. and the opening for the patella is well cushioned and allows air to circulate and stabilizes it so that you don't have a floating kneecap. My only suggestion is that you don't put lotion on your skin just before you place the brace on. Let the lotion dry completely before you strap the knee brace on. That goes along with the topical pain reliever. I am very, very satisfied with this product a nd recommend it to anyone that has had knee surgery, ACL, Patella or Miniscus surgery. Very light-weight and can be worn under slacks or over them.

Fits & Works Fine
I twisted my knee recently and it put me out of running while it heals. Not exactly sure what was damaged, but in fact it didn't bother me at first until I went for my regular run the next day. At the three mile point my knee actually blew out (astonishingly even sounding like getting a flat tire), and that was painful temporarily but still managed to finish the run with minimal pain. However, things went downhill from there and I knew a support would be needed. The TechWare brace does support the knee when putting full weight on the leg such as when standing up after being seated. Fortunately all pain goes away when walking or doing low impact exercise such as riding a bike, and so the brace is not needed. A mile down the road all pain goes away as if there was never any injury. But it comes back later, and is a real annoyance, and this is when I strap on the TechWare knee brace. The wrap design allows the brace material to be cinched up very tightly, and that provides the necessary support that holds the muscles and ligaments tightly in place, minimizing stress on the knee. I have never lost circulation in the leg while the wrap was fully tightened. It also prevents the knee pain caused when the leg is stretched straight. Keeping the leg bent somewhat at night relaxes the knee and allows all pain to subside, only returning again when hopping out of bed. The TechWare Pro knee support seems to be working fine and I intend to wear it often while the knee mends, until I can once again put full weight on the leg without feeling pain. And I trust that the knee will mend eventually just like all the other stupid setbacks I have been forced to wait out over the years. Using the injured limb while it mends has always been the remedy that will allow it to regain full abilities again. I expect the same results with my knee.

Surprisingly good, experiment with how to fit it properly
My knees suddenly began to give out after decades of very mild and insignificant arthritis which came and went. It finally came and didn't go and I found myself struggling to get up and down a few steps. Big shock and adjustment. This was the first knee pad I bought based on many reviews, and I wasn't expecting too much from it but it does work. It supports my worst knee well enough to get up and down the steps and walk around the supermarket without pain. When the knee is at its most sensitive there is some discomfort still but without the brace I doubt I would be able to walk at all. This is almost a perfect solution and at this price, a no-brainer. I have only the one critique, and that is that there seems to be too much material below the knee even though the top fits just fine. The brace does bunch up when the lower strap is tightened and there's just too much of it to completely straighten out. This is because the brace is the same width all the way down, while the upper leg is that much wider than the lower. It doesn't interfere at all with the working of the brace, it just makes it a bit more bulky below the knee. I find it will still fit under jeans, so no big deal, but I knocked a star off for the imperfect fit. [UPDATED] I experimented with fitting the lower part before the upper and finishing with the center, which is not the way it's supposed to be done according to the instructions. It works far better now. It's possible to smooth out the bottom part this way, as shown in the photos. So I put the fifth star back, and suggest that before you give up on a good fit you also take time to explore what works for you, which may not necessarily be the way the instructions suggest. Whatever works for you, is the right way to do it.

IT FITS BIG LEGS!!!!
I have really thick legs and was worried that I wouldn't find a knee brace to fit. I work at the hospital and am on my feet a LOT so my knees take a toll. Not only does it fit, it's even comfortable and my leg doesn't look like a popped can of biscuits like when I tried to ace wrap it. It doesn't slip and I'm almost shocked that I found the perfect brace. I needed this to work so bad and I couldn't be happier. Thank YOU!!!

Able to do crossfit workouts again with no knee pain (runners knee victim)!
I waited a bit before typing up this review as I wanted to give this product a true test. Have been using this knee brace for about 2 months now and it has made my fitness life so much better. I am an avid crossfitter and do an average of 4-5 wods a week. For anyone that knows a thing or two about crossfit, a workout can consist of high cardio with mixed strength work. I developed pretty bad runners knee in my left knee and my regular rehband neoprene knee sleeves just weren't giving me the support I needed anymore. So I searched around for something to offer me a bit more support. This product is reasonably priced and the strap design isn't too invasive with range of motion. Once I strapped this thing on, my knee felt great and it kept it extremely stable throughout 30-45 minute intense workouts. This knee brace isn't leaving my gym bag anytime soon. Every so often I may have to re-adjust the straps/entire brace but that really depends on the type of workout that day.The next test will be to see how long it lasts.

Low profile AND excellent support
I've gone through every type of knee sleeve and brace there is because of lingering pain in one knee from arthritis and post-menisectomy. Sleeves just compress and don't support, and the other braces I've tried are too bulky or shift my knee in one direction or another, not in the direction I want. Today, I received the Tech Ware Pro Knee Brace Support. The moment I started walking with this on today, I actually got teary-eyed with relief. THIS WORKS FOR ME! The key is the bi-directional support. The center strap goes one way, and the upper and lower straps go the other way. I can adjust the tightness of left, right, upper, and lower straps to orient my kneecap just where it needs to be for ultimate support. The profile of the brace is very slim -- so slim that I doubted at first whether it would be supportive enough. But it is! It's tight enough to hold my knee FIRMLY, but it's light and thin enough to allow for leg flexion and extension. I should add that sizing was not an issue. My 6'5", 275-pound husband, who has large limbs, tried it, and it fit him comfortably. (If anyone needs his exact knee/thigh measurements for your own purchasing decision, write to me.) The middle strap was close to the edge, but it did fit. We think that anyone with even larger legs could simply buy a velcro extender and have it work as well. Finally, the material is substantial and tough with very good stitching and anti-skid material on the inside. I paid full price for this knee brace and no one asked me to write a review. I like to leave reviews for products that are exceptionally well-made.
