Great performance
So far has functioned properly with heavy use. Although not designed for it had been used heavily for transcoding media. Has had no problem serving media to multiple clients at a time even while transcoding was going on. Quiet drive. It's been full now for a few months and has been performing as expected.

Good value for NAS devices
Bought a bunch of these for my WD My Cloud Pro, and they're working great! For long-term storage, it provides plenty of space, and run green for helping to keep the heat down (though the device does still get pretty hot.

Seagate is back!
I bought 5 of these and put them in a RAID. The performance is fantastic. The storage size is fantastic. Seagate have really come back to the table with these IronWolf drives. Glad to have them back after so many years!

Great for secondary storage
My PC is powered by very fast m.2 drives and SSD drives. I use this to store backups and media clips. It works great for that. When I'm not accessing the drive it spins down drawing practically zero power and no noise at all. It does take a few seconds to spin up when accessing it after it spins down, but it's totally worth it. I doubt it would be great as a primary drive, though.

So far, so good
I have three of these in my Synology NAS, and two smaller WD drives. The three Iron Wolf drives are working just fine, no bad sectors, no I/O errors, and they are pretty quiet. I will, in good time, replace the other two WD's with these drives. I have the 10 TB drives. This capacity is still within the "sweet spot" of capacity vs. price. Moving beyond this point, so far, means that the price increase increases faster than the capacity does, so I would recommend the 10 GB drives if one is upgrading capacity.

Solid Drive/Quiet/No Bad Sectors
I was a bit concerned about ordering this as I read a few reviews that said more than a few arrived with bad sectors and the drive itself was loud. Upon arrival I put the drive into my DS718+ and 15 hours later it checked out with no bad sectors. I can faintly hear the drive every now and then when it's working, but hardly an annoyance. The temperature stays about 31c even under load so I am pleased with that as well. So far it is a great drive.

Certified with ZERO errors!
Bought 4 of these for my new OWC Thunderbay enclosure. Using SoftRaid I ran the "certify" process which writes to all sectors of the drives. After running for about 5 days I was happy to get the zero errors message! All 4 of my Ironwolf drives are ready to rock. I'll update my review if needed but I feel very comfortable that I'll get 3-5 years out of these drives based on my video editing usage.

Dense storage for modern movies and games.
I feel like the higher the raw data, the more percentage is unavailable out of the box. Fresh in my NAS as direct drive, 8.85 GB available. That said, it's still the most cost effective and highly dense storage you can get at the moment (until the 12s and 14s drop a bit more in price). I've noticed that 4k at a bitrate similar to Blurays is much, much better than the lower rates you get over streaming. These large drives make storing such content feasible - and well worth it, in my opinion.

Surprisingly fast transfer speeds!
(Seagate 10TB IronWolf NAS SATA 6Gb/s NCQ 256MB) I bought 3 of these drives to create a Raid 5 NAS with some old pc hardware I had lying around. Transfer speeds are surprisingly fast! I installed 2x 10G NICs between my PC and my NAS PC, and I get about ~650 MB/s write + ~770MB/s read transfer speeds between the two! So I basically have a 20TB SSD with redundancy. Holy Sh%t! Now granted, the Raid is only around 23% full at the moment, so when I get over 50% things might slow down a little. Of course, if you're not on a 10G network, you won't really be able to tell the difference unless speeds drop below ~110 MB/s These drives are quiet too, as other reviewers have mentioned. I've owned these drives for about 3 months now, not a single issue so far. Will update this review if something happens/when it happens

Bought 4 Seagate 10TB IronWolf NAS for use in RAID5 ...
Bought 4 Seagate 10TB IronWolf NAS for use in RAID5 disk array about 10 days ago. Each of the drives seen, so far, 7 full days of sustained use - building + checking + filling the array with data + test rebuild - no issues or errors observed. The drives work as intended, are as quiet as other WD NAS 8TB drives I have. The shipping came well packed without any delays.
